A few days ago we had family over and ordered six different combo plates. The sides were great and in good portions but the white and dark meats: chicken, beef, lamb, shawarma on the main dish were scarce. It feels as if they try to put more sides to make up for the stinginess of the proteins.If anyone at Zacky’s read this, please know that people pay to receive a decent amount of food.Hope this ‘ll make a difference.

This place is seriously good!!! Ordered the beef and lamb shawarma plate with a Mediterranean rice base. For sides, I had the organic quinoa salad, grapeleaves and hummus with pita. The rice and meat were perfectly seasoned and moist. I recommend you coming here and ordering what l tried.👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Zakys is our go-to for a healthy dinner our whole family loves. The steak kabob is delicious and tender and the portions are perfect. We share a 2 or sometimes 3 protein plate of stake kabob, with rice and salad base, hummus, fire feta, and garlic sauce. Pitas are included so we make our own pita sandwiches and a plate feeds our whole family. We love Zakys Upland!

I do not recommend it at all.. The food served is not good and tastes very bad..Chicken comes with only a little experience.! This is what the restaurant offers... unlike other Arab restaurants that offer a lot with meals.Today I had a very bad experience with them.

BEWARE - they will charge your card a different amount when it goes into pending phase! The meal was $13 and when it went into pending for Chase, the charge POSTED was $63. I went in and told them of this charge and said I did not write a $50 tip. I printed out the Chase statement, (my phone wasnt enough even though they took pictures of it) and showed THEM MY ORIGINAL receipt.. they told me dont worry they save everything and will fix it - they charged me $50 over. They kept saying, well fix it and well call you back as Chase stated the restaurant entered the mistake (Aritza said this was Chases error and not theirs and it was impossible for them to add money to a receipt Ya ok LOL). I received no call after sending in the proof and the cashier even took pictures of my phone at the restaurant. They had the nerve to still tell me this is Chases error when I showed them the proof and said they will pull the receipt to show no one wrote a $50 tip. NEVER got a call back when the cashier Aritza kept saying she will call me back to show me the original receipt on THEIR end. Shady and a joke of service and very telling that they swore up and down no one can write a tip that way on the receipts. I used to come here often and even had catering done for my work, not anymore.

Stopped in here on a whim and my expectations were exceeded. I got a bowl with a salad base with steak and lamb as the protein and it was outstanding. The meat was cooked perfectly and was super flavorful. It was delicious. Ill definitely be coming back.

The Zaky in Rancho Cucamonga allowed us to schedule a pickup order for a day where they were going to be closed, and provided no warning online. In fact, they sent us a confirmation email and said they were starting work on our order. Long story short, no one was there. We called this Zaky to see if there was a way that they could help and they were awesome. They cancelled the other order, had us reorder and had it done within thirty minutes. They handled it professionally and with care. Thank you. If you’re thinking about going to the Zaky in Rancho, save yourself some grief and come here instead.

Yesterday I went to make an order for 4 plates and told the cashier 2 chicken 2 koftaAnd the other 2 plates of lamb. He charged me almost 80 dollars. When I got home I saw my order had no chicken no kofta no rice. Just fries and lamb. The best Mediterranean food we found yrs ago. We moved 50 miles away and ate there yesterday. Just looked Zakys up and found one closer to us. We live in Banning and i see there is one in Fontana....cant wait to get one in Beaumont or Banning now. We ordered the chicken wrap, rice pickled turnips....so yummy!! I went on Sunday and ordered from cashier named Aranzta,I asked for receipt(can I have the receipt?she told me with please)and she was so rude and I wait for my order one hour and 22 minutes but finally she gave me my order but not complete. So I asked her for that,she said (no educate),i told her that she doesnt know how to treat customers and shes wrong,she told me out. Absolutely love this place. The food is fresh and flavorful. The staff is friendly and attentive. As you walk in, you can see them cutting fresh vegetables, cooking rotisserie chicken and grilling kabobs. Ive had the chicken and steak kabobs and both are tender and tasty. I really like this place. Lots of food choice and good amount given for the price. #vegetarianfriendly they have all kinds of sides to choose from. I really like the salad! It is Sunday night, and we ordered grubhub delivery. 20 minutes goes by, and we receive a call from the DELIVERY DRIVER that Zaky cant fill the order because of a power outage.Power outages happen, and I get it, and I understand why they could not fulfill our order.What I do not understand is why the delivery driver had to call us long after placing our order, and Zaky DID NOT even attempt to contact us... All they had to do was tell us what happened, and that our order had to be canceled... if this was done, I would have understood and had zero bad feelings...

Not impressed. When I walked in the cashier was on the phone. I had to wait for her to finish her conversation which took a while. It was restaurant related so that should have waited, not the customer. My chicken kabob wrap tasted like lamb and Im not a fan of lamb of all. Very disappointing. Strong tasting meats like lamb should not be cooked with anything else. Do not recommend this place.

Starbucks makes parking very difficult and the service was not great. We called in the order and the process was difficult. The person taking the order was not reassuring since he told me he wont be there the day of pick up. So good luck if the order is wrong.

Excellent Mediterranean food! Best in the area, especially since they changed the menu. The new menu offers more options for trying different dishes and side dishes. Now you can choose up to 3 different proteins, and 3 sides, with a base such as rice, and one sauce, such as tahini or garlic or whatever. Because of the menu changes I was able to try the rotisserie chicken finally, and it was really good. The beef and lamb shawarma is awesome, and lamb kabobs are pretty good too. The grape leaves things were not too good. Very good, would recommend for sure.

Yellow rice good. Love the Quinoa salad healthy full of protein. The serve plates with choice of 1, 2 or 3 protein with 3 sides and a base of rice or fries or quinoa and 1 sauce on the side of your choice, I like the zacky sauce or cucumber yogurt sauce or their garlic one. Comes with nan bread. They got baklava, very good. Bowls and salad; greek salad is my favorite. They cater. They have kabobs. Family meals. Fountain drinks. Yogurt drinks. I have had better chicken for much cheaper prices. $12 for half a rotisserie chicken is not right And it is nothing to write home about after all. They are trying to capitalize on the international flare which this area lacks without a doubt. But with the two Mediterranean restaurants opened the old Auto Center recently, they will either need to come down to earth or be ready to fold.

Went here craving good mediterranean food.Boy was I in for a surprise. Usually I will eat anything on an empty stomach but this place was not appropriate for the situation.I asked for dine in service and when my food arrived it was inside a styrofoam container. What gives? To top it off the bread was inside a plastic wrap in what turned out to be the pita bread package. The bread was tough to chew because they microwaved it.Honestly, for the 20 dollars they charged for the plate and drink it is overpriced. There are other Mediterrenean restaurants with better flavor and more reasonable prices and you get a lot more than just rice and hummus as the sides. And your food gets served on a plate so you dont have to worry about consuming toxic chemicals from a styrofoam package.These people are not good proffesionals. Will not be going back probably for ever. Go the Palace in Upland instead.
