Got the chicken wrap and sweet potato fries. They were excellent. Servings of fries are generous, have bits of toasted garlic and a savory chutney. The wraps are large and they do not skimp on the filling. Had enough to split it and still be full. 6 stars!!

Im very surprised with some bad reviews. This place is super nice, stuff is friendly, food is delicious. Wed be full if we ordered just a soup, but we added 3 starters and wraps:) finally we could eat only the soup 😁😋 and took everything out;) and even next day food was really good!

I’ve been a big fan of Zameens for years but the Aptos branch has really gone downhill. I’ve had 3 wraps in a row: one I couldn’t eat- lamb meat was bad. The other two I could barely finish. Bread is cheap now and tough, shrimp were few and lettuce was just a filler. Hope they get their standards back. And get rid of that lamb- horrible!

Revisiting an old time favorite, Zameen Mediterranean Cuisine, Aptos. Great atmosphere as you can see from the photos, right? All yummy comfort food. A well rounded Menu with traditional Mediterranean dishes.I love love love sweet potato fries and Zameen does a crispy something version with a pomegranate walnut dipping sauce that I pair with the Moroccan Madness Soup.Another fav is the Eastern Mediterranean Flatbread Pizza Flatbread pizza topped with fig chutney sauce, goat cheese, prosciutto and fresh arugula.I did I take out order this time and so not my usual, a Greek burger a new item: lamb burger.I forgot to mention, there is outdoor seating!They serve beer and wine. And the staff friendly, helpful and patient.

First time visiting since early 2020. More in the style of fast food rather than a dining experience that I remember. Not a fan of the enamel steel bowls..the look & sound of metal cutlery on metal is not appealing, imo. Shrimp layered on salad layered on rice in an oversized metal bowl is not appetizing to me at $16. Staff not responsive to my kindly, easygoing, in-person comments about the lunch. I’m happy that others are pleased. 🥗

Ordered the lamb salad and a pepperoni pizza. The salad was good but the served large slices of lamb rather than smaller slices. Hard to cut and eat large cuts of meat out of a salad bowl. Olives were very salty!!The pizza was under cooked and doughy. They have a good pizza oven, so I just assume the chef needed a bit more training. The good thing is that these issues are easily remedied, the owner just needs to spend a bit more time talking to the customers about food quality.

Super fresh delicious food. Very fast service. Great portions. Some of the best gyros and dolmas I have ever had. All the dips and veg must be prepared fresh because they are all amazing. Closes at 730pm so dont be late. Order at the register, grab your number, and some of the best Mediterranean food will be brought to your indoor or outdoor table in no time!

A great spot! Delicious food and huge servings. I got the falafel wrap and it could have fed two people. My family got the bowls and salads which also were huge. I highly recommended the dolmas as an appetizer! The chicken was really good.

Of the three Zameen locations, this one is my least favorite. The person taking your order almost never puts substitutions on the ticket which leads to the server getting upset when you send the food back because its not what you ordered.

I had the absolute best Dolmas and sweet potato fries with pomegranate walnut sauce which was absolutely awesome. Everything that we ordered was delicious the falafel salad and the falafel gyro were great 👍 too. They also had this beer named Mai Tai was the perfect addition. 🥰 I am so in love with this place thank goodness my friend brought me in.

Be aware that they can automatically included the tip in the bill, I wasn’t aware until I saw the receipt. I usually give a tip in a jar when I pick up the order. That’s dishonesty when you just added a tip automatically and unknowingly to you especially when it’s a take out order.

There used to be real feta cheese on the salads now their salads are covered with some knock off cheese that doesn’t have good flavor or texture. Their falafel salads are my favorite. But their tzatziki and hummus are amazing, too. I go to this place at least 3 times a month(if not more) they are amazing. I read a review that said the hummus didn’t have enough acid or something- that’s not true. Order their hummus and it was absolutely amazing and worth every penny. I hope they don’t change their recipe due to the negative comment because everyone loves it and there is bound to be one bad apple thinking something is off. Also, Zameens shrimp is amazing, their pizzas are amazing, their gyros are amazing, it’s hard to find something in their menu that isn’t amazing to be honest. I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and it’s all delicious but everyone has their favorites of course! Their lamb burgers are also delicious. My top favorite restaurant for sure.

This place is so good. The service is always so friendly. The food always comes out so fast. I dont think Ive ever waited longer than 10 minutes. I love the wraps, theyre so huge and filling. But its very hard to pass up on the feta fries, always a winner. Only downside is they are closed mondays which bums me out that I cant get this 7 days a week.

We ordered the Mediterranean pizza with creamy feta, arugula, fig jam and prosciutto. It was inedible - the prosciutto was overly salty and cut so thick, it ate like a piece of jerky. The pizza dough tasted like a bland cracker. The falafel salad was a disappointment as well. The falafel were barely seasoned. Don’t bother ordering the feta fries either. They were delivered cold and soggy to the table.

Been here twice now, both times exceeded my expectations. Perfectly seasoned dishes with decent portion sizes at very reasonable prices. This place has turned into my new local favorite casual stop for Mediterranean food. They have a condiment bar with harissa and mint yogurt sauce, that really won me over. Great place to grub in Aptos. Very nice atmosphere inside, outdoor seating available as well. The prices arent the cheapest, but there are some great daily specials. Besides, the food is amazing. Salads, wraps, and more. Awesome Greek FLAVOR. I got the chili chicken wrap for $11 & tax...solid deal. Plus, they have a variety of tasty sauces you can add to your meal.

A perfectly accessible location for those who utilize a mobility device. Hence the 2 stars.Sadly, if you choose to dine in, good luck getting any silverware or napkins. We spent over $70 and I guess servers think we’re heathens with $$$$ and we eat with hands and feat.I did request for silverware and napkins twice and was ignored. Maybe most customers serve themselves but being disabled I don’t have that privilege. ♿️💔♿️If you’re ITALIAN and craving a Margherita pizza this is NOT your spot. Zameen is close to work so I often get lunch here. Im a little frustrated with the consistency of the food. I often get the gyro wrap. Yesterday, it had so much feta cheese, I had to scrape out some (which was abnormal for this place). The wrap was made completely different and they had dumped the sauce in the wrap (which they have never done and Ive been getting wraps here for about 1-2 years). I had requested extra sauce on the side my last 2 times visiting and both times they failed to include it (but didnt fail to charge me for it). Overall the food is good but they definitely need to improve on a couple of things.

My wife and I went there today for an early dinner. Arrived at 5:00pm and there was only one couple seated. We were placed at a table immediately and were given menus and waited for our server. Our server, Natalie, came by and gave us water and said she would return. After about 15 minutes of waiting (there was only one more couple who came in) I finally walked up to the counter, where Natalie was chatting it up with another employee. I asked her to please come by our table to get our orders. Our orders were taken, and when delivered, one was wrong. She came back only once to check on us. Our drinks were empty half way through dinner and we never saw her. Food was wonderful, but its hard to get past that really bad service.

10/12/2014This place was great. I had the spicy chicken pita wrap. The thing was huge. When I walked in it was too warm inside, because the kabob flames were screaming, outside was perfect though. The server was nice and very knowledgeable about the menu. A few twists of limón, a dash of chili and salt would of made my pita perfect... but thats just my preference. I would definitely go again.

Both the Lemon Chicken soup & Moroccan soups are good & flavorful. My current favorite in the area - great salads, abundant & flavorful. Love the spicy chicken on Greek salad, but its not really spicy. Very customized meal, you pick the kabob, pick the salad, pick the sauce... lots of veggie options. Have been here 30 times in last 2 years and its consistently very good. Causal, order @ counter, and a little pricey considering its not a proper sit down restaurant (my grandma taught me that a proper restaurant means tablecloth & cloth napkins :) BUT, one meal platter & an ap is plenty for 2 of us.On the upside of that casual, my son usually pops next door for a burrito, and we eat on the patio with a nice mix of everyone getting what they want.

My fiance and I found Zameen by chance while just roaming town for a new lunch place to try. We are so glad we stopped here!They have a decent selection to choose from and the food is great! They also have some good beers on tap. I am a bore and get the same thing every time I go anywhere, I usually get the chicken gyro here.We went to this location a few times but then found out that a new Zameen opened in pleasure point which is way closer to home so we go to the Capitola location now. The Capitola location is exactly the same and I recommend both!

The food is Mediterranean but the flavors created are uniquely delicious. Clearly the chefs understand fresh and it is reflected in both presentation and flavor. Thankfully they were the only business in the area with power. Being of Greek heritage and spending time in Greece I pride myself in knowing good Greek/Mediterranean food. I ordered the Lamb burger, no bun, and said no lettuce wrap. The lamb burger with tzatziki was absolutely delicious! However, I had to maneuver through all the lettuce the cook attempted to wrap it with. I also asked for a Greek Salad on the side. I got a regular salad with more lettuce! (Aithentic Greek salad comes with no lettuce!) Aside from the enormous amount of lettuce on the plate it was wonderful food and came to the table very quickly.

I purchased the kids falafel bowl today at Zameen in Aptos. I was very disappointed with the falafel balls, the falafel balls appeared to be microwaved in that they were very soggy/mushy. Traditionally falafel balls are to be deep fried for the orders as the orders come in. I will not be a repeat customer at Zameen due to this very important issue. I prefer Santa Cruz Falafel for my traditional mediterranean cuisine. Santa Cruz Falafel offers great fresh mediterranean cuisine at a reasonable price.

I dont want to say it, but the food was bland. Mediterranean food should overwhelm your mouth with spices, garlic and flavor. I could hardly taste the sauce. Disappointed really - so many great reviews and sub par food. The staff was friendly the dolmas were good, but what about toum, tahini and taziki? I need that flavor and it wasnt there.

If youre interested in quality Mediterranean food and you are near Aptos, California you must visit Zameens. Located on soquel avenue between just north of State Street Ave in a very clean and convenient shopping area, you can dine with your family or friends there or order and pick up. Whatever you do come early for dinner or lunch as the place is packed with people. You wont find better quality and great tasting gyros, salads and Mediterranean food within a radius of 50 miles.
