2023-02-18 23:27:59It is music to my palate, when you come to Zarri’s and find in the simplicity of a local store, the quality that fully satisfies you. I had an amazing Tuna Melt with Fontina. The texture contrast between the bread and the contents was superb. The tuna contents where full of flavor! And In addition the person I was with, had a Lettuce Wrap, that could be considered a Keto nugget -Double Pastrami ( made in house), Provolone and Avocado. We felt at home and nourished .I am great full for places like Zarri’s, real people, real food and delicious!

2020-02-02 02:55:27Its been a while since Ive last been in. I would come to Zarris at least once a week back in the 80s when in high school then intermittently after I left town and would visit from time to time.I always got the Poor Boy and loved it and this time I ordered the Poor Boy Deluxe on sourdough. It was good. The meats were all tasty, the produce was very fresh and the sourdough was fresh with a crunchy crust.I think I will go back to the regular Poor Boy next time, for some reason the Deluxe just didnt do it for me.The service was excellent, fast and they were very nice. The inside seems like it hasnt changed very much since I was a teen.. and that a good thing. Very cool. Still has that real deli feel, well, because it is a real deli, how about that? All in all, this is a really good place to get a sandwich. Ill be back for sure since Im always in town for business but Ill be getting the regular Poor Boy for now on.*NewFollow @WhatsEatingMoTwitter - IG - YouTubeReviews and videos on all kinds of stuff, places and food.

2018-01-13 20:14:14Great, straight-forward, old fashioned deli. Ive been coming here since 1983 and still love the regular deli sandwiches which seem more difficult to find.(Gregoire and Summer Kitchen are excellent, but you cant get turkey on rye!)Family run; at least on the second generation. The owner is very personable and lived in Spain. Ask him about it if its not too busy.

2023-01-25 22:35:46So Ill start by saying I really, really try my best to give unbiased, factual reviews. With that said, Zarris has unfortunately fallen to the wayside over the years. Im giving three stars just due to the fact I have fond memories of coming here when I was younger. I really wish I could give them a better review, however, there are some things seriously lacking in their approach and in the products they offer for sell. The wait staff were standoffish and Im not sure why. Upon my arrival I was met with Akward silence and blank stares. The counter person skipped me in line and attempted to serve the guy behind me as if I was invisible. Fortunately, the gentleman behind me spoke up and told her I was first in line. I wasnt going to say anything because Im definitely not a confrontational person. The sandwich was just Okay. There was really nothing of substance to mention. The sandwich wasnt horrible but the sourdough bread was hard and as sharp as glass (Cut my gums).Being one of the few old school delicatessens left in the area, I really want Zarris to succeed! Please take this review to heart and perhaps learn from it and apply new business practices in the future.
