Stumbled on this restaurant after visited Sequoia National Park. Food was delicious and great customer services. Ordered Fu yong egg and it turns out not as expected and the usual fried egg back in our country. Overall still a good dinner.

This place is usually pretty slow and honestly I have no idea why. The food is so so so good and the service is great! You NEED to order the honey walnut shrimp, it’s so good. Easily the best I’ve ever had and it’s usually my go to order at most Chinese places. So delicious.

Delicious!! We came here at the suggestion of our hotels front desk person and were pleasantly surprised! We ordered orange chicken, which came in perfectly fried bite-sized pieces, all tender and none chewy, as well as the BBQ chowmein which tasted better than it looked (packed with flavor and fresh veggies, noodles the perfect texture), and the fried shrimp (absolutely spot on). The service was excellent and the host/server took several calls throughout our stay which only confirmed how great this place is, definitely popular!The hostess got a call from a completely unreasonable customer and was incredibly professional, kind, and as accommodating as possible the whole time, but the woman still vowed to never return. Honestly, that persons loss because if we lived here, wed be back every weekend, it was just THAT good! Plus, rude people dont deserve such good food and great service! Thank you Zen!

Staff was friendly. Chicken chowmain was flavorless. Chicken fried rice was also bland in flavor. Mongolia beef was good. Not sure if Ill give it a second try. Vietnamese salad was ok. Two of our orders were incorrect.

My daughter and I love eating at Zein’s it’s our new hangout place to eat. The food is really amazing and it’s like real good comfort food. The service is kind friendly they make you feel at home. It’s clean and nice and quiet and relaxing atmosphere .

Slow even though mid evening and only one couple there. And two takeout orders. My order of bbq pork chop suey was too much sauce of indistinguishable flavor other than being overpowered GARLIC. Onion and some vegetables needed to be fresh not last weeks refrigerator kept. Crispy noodle were small amount and again tasted old. The soup egg drop vegetables was over taken by corn.

Absolutely delightful. It serves great American Chinese food that is full of flavour. We ordered Oyster Sauce Beef, Chow Mein, Pot Stickers, Sweet and Sour Chicken, and Kung Pao chicken from their value Dinner Special. The food is well made and authentic as American Chinese food comes. The service is friendly and the food came out very fast. Would recommend to anyone.

1st time here. We have been looking for a GOOD oriental restaurant. Most BLAH! NOT THIS ONE!!! THIS ONE WAS A REAL SURPRISE.We ordered several dishes and each was as good as the last. A nice size dining room with booths and tables. The place sort of lacks in decor & and aesthetic was kind of lacking, but food was yummy. It was a better deal to order the meal for two with lots of options. The wonton soup was so delicious! Our favorite. The pot stickers were good, but the chili oil sauce made it better! Fried rice was tasty, but no veggies included. Lemon chicken was not exactly what we envisioned and most likely wont order again. Everyone who served us was friendly.

Food was so so. Lil over priced. The cream cheese puffs were good but there drinks were like carbonated water with lil color I would of returned that 4 dollar drink if I would of tasted it at the beginning and not after I ate mostly my plate and was ready to go. Sorry but we wont be going back.

We went to 3 other Asian dinners that were either closed or no longer taking orders. We gave this place a shot expecting more of the same disappointment. But boy was I mistaken. This place not only served us but the food was outstanding. Had the pas thai and a soup. They were both jam pack with deliciousness. Great food great service and even with time not in our favor they still served us. A must place to dine.

Ive gotten delivery here twice now. Food is amazing, staff is wonderful, delivery is always on time. A really great find for anyone looking for a unique Asian dining experience. This place is the best Chinese food in town. I really enjoy their chicken pad thai. I have tried Thai food before and I prefer this one over the ones Ive tried at actual Thai restaurants. They had me craving theirs. 😋 My family eats here on a regular basis. The ladies who wait tables give excellent service and are always cheerful.👌 The take out service is also very exceptional. The gentlemen who delivers is prompt and polite. Overall I give them 5 stars across the board. You get what you pay for and its worth it.

My first time at Zen with a friend whose family visits the restaurant often and swears by it. The food was very good. It was not too greasy and didnt have an overly fried taste. The salt and pepper wings, egg rolls, cheese won tons, and the pot stickers are alone worth the visit. The service was adequate, but not stellar. It looked like they were just understaffed for a week night. Good Stuff though.

I like the decor. It gives me a good sense of old school chinese fooderies, but I wish I could say the same for the food. I ordered the lunch special: the beef and vegetables with a side of chicken fried rice.The chicken in the fried rice was good but the fried rice might as well have just been steamed rice. There was absolutely 0 flavor. The beef and vegetables just tasted like starch slurry with salt and a little garlic. The beef was mushy was overly marinated in... a flavorless something.After forcing down a few bites of my 10.80$ meal, I had to throw it out. I couldnt stomach it.Prices on the website are also off.

Came here in Christmas Eve with my husband and friends. The service was great. Our food arrived promptly, and tasted fresh. I ordered Honey Walnut Shrimp because it was listed as a chefs special on an online menu I found. My husband chose shrimp fried rice. It may all have been the best Ive ever tasted. Having been raised on Chinese food, I am very particular. I came away very impressed and very full.

I had the potstickers and they are a must try for anyone new. The combination plates have more than enough food and a great selection. Check them out to see if your favorites are on one of the plates. They also have a big banner offering delivery if you cant get out or have a big party that needs some food.

The foods we ordered are great and have been ordering the same on the menu for the last couple years. Lunch and dinner time are pretty hectic just so you know. Amazing place to eat for almost any occasion! Staff are attentive and always very friendly. This restaurant has its own unique flavor that keeps drawing you in time and time again. Definitely recommend the chicken chow mein, orange chicken, beef and broccoli, pork Thai drunken noodles, honey walnut shrimp, and also the appetizer platter. All previously listed other than the walnut shrimp and Thai drunken noodles are included in the dinner combination #1 plate! Its definitely affordable and worth every penny. I recomend this place to everyone I know and all end up loving it!

Really great Chinese food similar to Kow Loons but with out the trek across town. They have amazing iced tea, which I think is Oolong if youre a tea buff, if not its still really good. Its a family run restaurant and they are very friendly. Best part about this place is that they deliver. Expect about an hour wait so plan ahead if you order out. You can sit at the bar and watch TV or they can accommodate large parties. Best chinese food in visalia.

The best chinese food in the central valley!!! Been all over the valley, none comes close to this place for food or value. Think PF Changs at 1/2 the price! Ive eaten about half the items on the menu and its all amazing. I like the sizzling beef, zen chow fun, broc beef, and their seafood soup. Fried rice is also awesome. They even deliver.

Mongolian beef was practically inedible from too much salt (definitely order white rice to dilute the salt)...it also had an overwhelming flavor of hoisin sauce. Their chow mein isnt bad.
