The service was prompt, and the food exceeded my expectations in terms of both taste and healthiness.I opted for the albacore sashimi, which I requested to be torched, and the salmon skin hand roll. The freshness of the accompanying salad was notable, and adding Chilli oil and soy sauce enhanced the flavors. The salmon skin hand roll was generously filled with thick chunks of satisfyingly fresh salmon skin. Its evident that the ingredients used were of high quality.One noteworthy aspect that elevated my dining experience was the attention to detail. I requested lemon slices for my tap water, and it made a significant difference. The staffs willingness to accommodate such requests reflects a commitment to customer satisfaction.I was joined with my wife, Tracie, who had been here before. Her familiarity with the menu showcased the restaurants consistency in delivering a delightful dining experience. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals.Overall, the combination of prompt service, delicious and healthy food options, and reasonable prices make this establishment stand out. The sushi was really good, but avoid the ramen. We got the zen ramen and it was very watery and plain. When we gave feedback about that, the chef said ramen soup is supposed to be watery.

Best Udon Ive ever had.Id never gone there and it was so good I went three nights in a row with my family. Ive been in Davis for 6 years, this is my favorite dinner spot, just a bit hidden on the bottom floor of the complex.Some great and unique sushi dishes as well.-Crystal Ball-Sweet Salmon Orange

The portions of the food are good, larger than the food served in usual Japanese restaurants. Food is in general very tasty. I like the ramen and appetizers especially.

Had a quick lunch here with my daughter who attends UCD. This is a real nice cozy place with excellent sushi! Definitely a great sushi spot in Davis!

Had lunch on 5/3/23 shortly after noon. My Katsu Don was simply delicious and tender. Better than Mikuni. The service was fine. I consider this restaurant to be among the best Davis has to offer.

Excellent food and dining experience. When its busy, service is slow but totally worth the wait. The sunomono salad is the best Ive had. Intimate space and an authentic dining experience.

Had an amazing experience! A friend of mine told me about this place and we went and had a great time talking to the head chef and eating amazing cuisine. Would highly recommend! The banana Pie at the end was the best I have ever had!
