Food was excellent, we really enjoyed the zorro dip! It had chilies, cheese, rancho sauce and beans in it. The salsa was great. Enjoyed the tacos. The clam chowder was surprisingly good as well! They have an outdoor patio which is pet friendly so you can bring your dog.

We had a party of 7 and we were trying to find something open after pulling into town late. It was after 8:30p, but they immediately assembled a big table to accommodate us and took our drink order right away. We had chips and salsa within seconds. What a great first impression. My wife got the clam chowder in a bread bowl and considers it the best she has had anywhere, including the San Francisco wharf. I got one of the combination plates, and the rest of the family each got various items. All the family was full, and all the plates were empty by the time the two servings of fried ice cream came out. What a great dessert to share to finish the meal. We are definitely going to be coming back the next time we are in town.

I have stopped here twice now on my way down to socal and both times have been a very good experience. They have really good food and excellent service. I love that it is away from the main pismo strip so its a Iittle less touristy. Its is small but cute. My only complaint would be that the outdoor seating is not the most comfortable but other than its a great spot. I would definitely recommend.

Zorros is a regular stop when were in the area. We got lucky with a table when we walked in. Ive tried many dishes here and you cant go wrong with anything on the menu. I highly recommend checking out their specials board. Those are usually gems. Tonight we went simple. I had a bowl of chicken tortilla soup. It was full of big chunks of veggies and chicken, topped with a dollop of sour cream. It hit the spot. My partner had a chicken salad. It was huge and full of all the goodies.

Packed on a Friday night when we went to order. The to-go order was ready in 10 minutes.The wonderful lady who took our order was so welcoming and cared for our order .The food at Zorro is great. Chile Colorado was above par (7.5/10). The Southern California Chile Colorado did indeed stand out .Excellent steak fajitas (8/10) .I was so surprised/happy to see the extra set of rice beans and the chips that came with the order .

Chile Verde Plate with handmade style corn tortilla was highly recommended and for good reason. Great Mexican restaurant! Very authentic taste, excellent service and wonderful menu options for vegetarians. The coffee was strong and very good. Lemonades were very refreshing. Fajitas with beans, rice, corn tortillas were just superb! Spinach Enchiladas were beyond expectations. And Avila burger (vegetarian) has so much in it. They cut it to half for kids. The drinks were refilled often. Chips and salsa are so yum! It’s kid-friendly, dog-friendly and vallet-friendly restaurant. Fresh, healthy and tasty food with great hospitality is a rare combo.

The service, the food, the dessert, and the overall experience was great! My Wife and I enjoyed everything about this place. The service was great, we were seated very quickly and our waiter was top notch. He explained everything in detail and made sure we were happy. The food was delicious. I ordered the sombrero burger and my wife ordered the Chile verde enchiladas. We also got the quesadilla which was good. The micheladas were good as well. And the fried ice cream was HUGE! It was the size of my fist! I would definitely recommend this place and will be back next time we visit Pismo!

Always a great meal and always amazing service. I love their chorizo which is made in house and their homemade corn tortillas. Their tropical iced tea is so good, I don’t need sugar. I have never had bad service. They always greet me warmly and remember me.

The chimichanga and the chicken burritos were delicious and the portions were very generous. The ingredients all tasted fresh and the hot sauce was excellent. We dropped in quite late with our two boys and got our food quickly after a long drive. The service and food is superb at Zorro’s. It’s definitely worth a visit.

Excellent central Mexican cuisine. They make their own salsa and habanero hot sauce for retail sales. The pork chili Verde enchiladas were excellent with lots of tender chunks of pork. Their refried beans are very meaty tasting. The Ridge Chili Relleno was enormous and full of cheese. Excellent stop on the way to San Francisco!

We usually have our clam chowder in a bread bowl but this time we asked to have sourdough toast on the side and they did that! I didnt know so we dont have to let all that bad go to waste. We decided to have something different to add on and we added their shrimp and crab enchiladas plate with white cream sauce and it was really good! I think if we could add a good kick of spice to it! It would be great! Love their salsa and chips!

Came in on a real windy Thursday evening around 7pm. Place was full inside, the hostess got us a table in the covered patio area. Little bit of noise from the wind blowing things against the patio cover but, it wasnt annoying. Temperature was comfortable with sweater, and the wind draft was blocked by the cover perfectly. Service was excellent. Our server was Gerardo and he had a secondary server/busser backing him up. Both were friendly. Food was great. Brought chips and salsa (both seemed homemade)with our drinks. Mom ordered №14 plate, two Tiger Shrimp tacos with beans and rice. Looked like three (or 4) good size seasoned shrimp per Taco with shredded cabbage and radish. I ordered the Chile Verde Burrito. It had soft moist pork with rice inside, covered the outside with Cheese and salsa Verde with sour cream on the side. Served with rice and beans. Didnt have any leftovers to take home as it tasted too good to leave any scraps. Despite being way too full, ordered fried ice cream and homemade Flan to take home. Left very happy with the overall experience here.

Had one of the best Mexican meals that I’ve had in while here! Sometimes the most well-reviewed places aren’t necessarily vegetarian-friendly, but this place has a ton of options. I appreciated that the Spinach & cheese enchiladas were actually spicy (I love spice!) The staff were friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Zorros is exactly what youd expect in a cute little beach town, the staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the food is fantastic! Atmosphere is laid back a low fuss, and those beach breezes makes the outdoor patio prefect on a summer evening. My husband and I loved our experience here. We came for the breakfast menu and we were impressed with the menu options. I ordered the special which was pozole. Wow! Extremely delicious and heavy on the spicy which is my favorite to eat any soup. My husband ordered a burrito number which included rice and beans on the side. Inside his burrito was egg, honey bacon, potatoes, and Spanish sauce. He enjoyed the flavor of the honey bacon in his burrito. Staff were all very attentive and polite. Staying here in Oceano and the drive was pleasant and not too far away at all.

Hard to rate those place. Ill start with the good.Atmosphere was good and what youd expect from a Mexican restaurant. The service was great and quick. The salsa was sooooo good. I was happy they offered jars of salsa for sale. The margarita was good too.Now for the bad. The meals were NOT good. The aloha burger was mushy and full of greese and I unfortunately had to send it back. The carne asada burrito was lacking flavor and the meat tasted a bit off. All in all is pass on returning expect for a drink and some chips and salsa.

Awesome place. Loved the food and the service as well as the price. They give you complimentary chips and salsa which are very tasty. Their clam chowder was so good - I recommend adding the clam meat and bacon. Their cod tacos were ok but their shrip tacos were fantastic. Great little place with good food for an affordable price. I recommend taking food to go and walking a few minutes to the park next to the cliffs.

Ok so our family of 5 ate here. 4 of us enjoyed our meals. The staff was super friendly and helpful. We had flautas and they were delicious! The green enchilas, yummy, but oh man were they spicy🌶! (They do mark their spicy food on the menu, so you know, but they are not kidding.)The clam chowder was great! But the carne asada burrito was not a hit. It was more like a bean burrito with rice and 4 chunks of meat. And that thing is huge. It should be mostly carne asada chopped up, with some rice and a little but of beans. So wed definitely go back but not order the carne asada burrito.

We stop here every time on our way to visit our daughter in SoCal. It’s always been excellent, the service, the atmosphere, the food, the chips and salsa, all fantastic. This time, though I ordered my usualcombination plate with a chile relano and seafood and enchilada. I did not even eat the seafood enchilada until the next day. It just looked a lot smaller. I opened it up and there was one piece of crab and one shrimp in it and the rest with mushrooms and bell peppers, I was really disappointed. I would gladly pay extra if seafood prices have gone up to have what they used to give us, a big thick enchilada filled with seafood. There wasn’t even really a tablespoon of the white sauce on top either. The waitress said that there was a new cook because he messed up our order on the beans which was fine not a big deal. But he really needs to make them like the original recipe.

A locals favorite. Quaint restaurant, with a cozy dog-friendly patio. Large menu filled with flavor. American and Mexican favorites and fresh seafood. Very courteous staff, and just blocks from the ocean. Currently parking is a problem because of street maintenance. But thats temporary. Enjoy!

Atrocious excuse for and insult to Mexican food.Tortillas = not even bothered to heat up, soggy cardboard that falls apart.Tortilla soup = has peppers and celery? Since when? Great food but a friend or family member was there at the entrance talking to the host with his dog that kept barking incessantly. we had to change seats to get away from the dog then the employees would go out and let the dirty animal and fluff it up and walk back in and grab food to serve the customers without washing their hands, really?? Ban the dogs and take care of your customers and train your employees to not pet dogs while working with food.

Poor waitress service. The woman serving us did not let my younger brother order what he wanted and could could not order off the kid’s menu. She said “Not everyone can order off the kids menu.” Like what does it matter to you if he wants a smaller portion of something. I don’t understand how you cannot order what you want when you are paying for it. I guess she wanted to hike up the price for no reason. Poor waitress service. I almost feel like reviewing Zorros is like throwing a stone into the ocean and expecting somebody to notice it. Zoros is an exceptionally delicious amazing restaurant! All the reviews say this and they always get a bunch of stars. Ive been de Zorros a number of times and everything Ive had there is really really good. The staff is very attentive. And they check on you even though its a crazy busy insane place. You almost always have to wait to get a seat because everyone loves it. This business is blessed! Its not just Mexican food. They have a lot of stuff which is not Mexican food. I would call it a fusion restaurant. The chips and salsa are wonderful Being fresh out of the fryer. Its a house converted into a restaurant with seating inside and outside on a covered porch and the sidewalk. When you think of looking for a charming place that only the locals know about, then you should go straight to Zoros.

My wife and I have been visiting Zorro’s for years and their food never disappoints. We typically visit for breakfast and for some time now I have been working my way through their Special Mexican Breakfasts. Two days ago I was finally able to say I’ve tried each an every item. Every entree was excellent and there were times I repeated an entree just because it was so good. Those include the El Camino Real Enchilada Omelet, the Ridge Chile Relleno and Eggs and the Homemade Tamale and Eggs (Chile and Cheese Tamale). The last holdout on my quest to try them all was the Marco Machaca and Eggs. I was reluctant but I needed to pull the trigger and get it done so I chose the shredded beef and asked that my eggs be fried on top of the meat instead of scrambled in it. Holy cow, this was amazing! It probably takes the win in comparison to all the other entrees and honestly I didn’t think anything could beat the El Camino Real Enchilada Omelet. The down side to highly rating one of your favorite restaurants is the chance they’ll become busier but Zorro’s is deserving of high praise even if it means waiting a bit next time we visit. Their staff if friendly and attentive and their prices are very fair.

The best chips and salsa! The fish and chips were the best Ive had in every long time. We had 3 very attentive servers. Our drink cups never went empty. I would recommend Zorros Cafe to everybody looking for good food and service, great prices and atmosphere.

What a great little gem in Pismo! Amazing food, friendly serve, top notch overall. We called for takeout just a few minutes before close time, and also requested some vegetarian modifications, Zorro’s (forgot the person’s name) were super nice. Fantastic food, one of the best enchiladas 👌🏽

We stopped in after Feat to the Beach run. Our waiters were amazing!! My husband ordered the boardwalk burger with grilled jalapeños and steak fries. He’s still raving about it. I ordered the shrimp and crab enchiladas. They were Very rich and tasty. Our friends ordered the shrimp tacos and looked delicious. Margaritas are delicious as well. Lastly I’d like to commend our servers for being very attentive and friendly. Our new spot to eat when we are in the area.

Great service. Great food. Larg servings. Best Salsa with the chips, crunchy crunchy chips. We met in a group of 6. Seating outside COVID safe. Staff were good about following COVID rules.Two couples did a meal split. The staff were happy to oblige. Coffee was frequently freshened.When you make your reservation tell them Joe sent you...they will say Joe Who...thats me👍

We love this place. The food is great, love the Mexican Coke. Bummer, they were out of it today. The patio concrete looks like it is filthy. It is great need a deep power washing. Loved receiving a flower for Mothers Day. Will be happy to give 5 stars, if they noticeably clean patio.

Ordered the california burger. When it arrived there was almost no resemblance of what the menu described. Bean sprouts completely missing, avacado was barely present probably half of a half avocado, and no condiments. The beef in the burger was tasty though. All in all i left wishing i had ordered something else. Also this is a very small spot. Be prepared to wait if you wana eat inside.

We ordered take out. I had the fish sandwich. Very generous with everything. There were about 3 large pieces of fish in my sandwich and the onion rings were the best that i have had in a long time. My friend had the club. Everything was fresh.

A small place to have huge portion meals. The omelets are large enough to share. The seven grain pancakes were delicious. The chips and blended salsa was also delicious. No complaints. The prices were not bad either. Roughly thirty five dollars for two. We didnt have any drinks. Just water.

Great food and great service. I had the bean and cheese burrito, it was really good, the onion rings are Delicious! There was seating outside, they gave us a huge bag of chips and salsa to start with, the chips were light and crispy with the perfect amount of salt.

Excellent food! One of the best Egg Benedict Ive ever had. This place also serve up some mad Mexican food too. I would skip the pancakes and go with their signature dishes including Tamales, Clam Chowder and their Egg Benedict. Theres ample street parking and plenty of seat. Wait staff gets a good workout speed walking so cut them some slack.
