Great food, lots of flavor, great customer service, affordable prices, but smaller portions than Boiling Point. The restaurant is located in a hidden shopping center. Lots of parking space. The restaurant is very clean and modern inside. A nice alternative to Boiling Point.

Service & cleanliness are very good. nice & relaxing atmosphere. food is above average but nothing outstanding to warrant a special trip. price is reasonable but not cheap either. theres no alcohol avail. for those who want some with their meal. high 3* > low 4* rating for me. 4* overall for the effort.

Good variety of food. Fast wait time. Pretty and neat dining place with attentive servers. Clean and nice bathrooms. More side dishes and main dishes (other than hotpot) than other hotpot places. Yummy drinks as well. The Taro Milk Tea was delish! Easy to find parking.

I recently went to ZZ Hotpot House for lunch and decided to order their curry hot pot. Unfortunately, even though I specifically asked for it to be mild, it turned out to be spicy. The spiciness completely overpowered everything else in the hot pot, to the point where I could hardly taste the flavor of the curry. It was quite disappointing.The hot pot didnt have much meat, fish cake, or fish ball. Instead, it seemed to be filled mostly with napa cabbage. I was expecting a more balanced assortment of ingredients, so this was a letdown for me.On a positive note, I must commend the restaurant for its fast and attentive service. The staff was quick to take our orders and make sure we had everything we needed. Its always nice when the service is efficient and attentive.Perhaps for the next visit, I can try their bland option instead of mild. But still doubt that I would come back due to the lack of protein in the hot pot.

A good place for easy to order Asian hot pots with good customer service and prices.Order, your hit pot, comes out within minutes. They also have a small drink menu as well for those sweet tooth goers.I like the clean environment and the food was tasty.

Food was hastily thrown together without any thought for flavor. Does not have option of broth selection. Only a dash of actual meat. Quite disappointing. Server was good and attentive.

This place is clean, neat decoration and just nice..The restroom also clean, has a nice led mirror inside.The service was great. There were 2 servers and both are great, checking on us in a timely manner.The food:We got the beef pot: it looks very similar to boiling point beef pot, the taste was good, everything was good but the meat, the tomato need to be cut smaller pieces so it would be better. The tomato was huge. Also the meat got all in one stuck together. Like a ball of meats. The taste still good tho. Also there a sauce. I love the sauces. I think i like this sauce better than the boiling point one.Also got boc luc lac garlic noodle.; i also really like this dish, it taste really good, the consistency of the meat was so good. Juicy and soft and tender at the same time but it was good. Except the oil part. Lol please use less oil on this food. As this will be my fave place for the boc luc lac garlic noodle...We ate it all pretty fast.. and leave with a good feeling to continue the rest of our day... so good food, good service, clean and pricey

Small restaurant but cozy with a nice ambiance. We ordered the Thai Style Hot Pot, Beef Pot, Shaken Beef Noodles, with a side of rice. This is more than enough for 4 people. The hot pot comes out and the waiter lights up the flame at the bottom to keep the pot hot. It will turn off on its own and stays pretty warm till the end. Loved the fresh veggies and seafood. I personally liked the Thai style one. And the soup spoons! So wholesome and allows you to grab a hearty spoonful of goodness.

Very nice, clean place. I loved flavor of the broth and overall experience. Only reason 1 star docking was lack of beef on the beef hotpot. Overall, very good experience other wise.

I was eating then I go home vomiting all the food a ate.I didn’t even eat a lot to.Wasted my time having to clean up my floor. I don’t recommend eating anything here.

The Bo Nhe(beef and vegetable) with the creamy sauce was juicy, and tendr it took a while to come out but was worth the wait. There drink selection for boba is great as well.

ZZ Hotpot House is one of the best tasty Hotpot restaurants in Garden Grove, CA. Were recommended by our local friends for the dinner. It is clean and cozy. Many different decious dishes & drinks. Especially Taiwanese Spicy HotPot. Amazing food & top-notch service. Recommended.

I honestly come here once a week if not more, the people who work here are great! Its hard to come across a good tasting vegetarian hotpot and this place offers an amazing one. The broth is so delicious and my meat eating friends all agree and some even prefer it more than the other meat broths. Ive literally taken a handful of my friends here and they love it too!

Absolutely 5 stars for this establishment. I almost never leave a review for anything since Im not the most opinionated person...unless its overwhelming positive...or negative. I have to say, this place offers a warm atmosphere with catchy music, great lightning, delicious food and a clean decor. They are welcoming and attentive to you before you even make it through the floor to ceiling all glass entrance. Service is prompt, my orders come out correctly, and the food is a good value to boot. Even our two year old boy loves eating everything on the menu, and that in itself says something. Every establishment should be run this way and my family and I enjoy stopping here anytime we are hungry and in Westminster!

Great food especially the stir fried beef items. The hotpots are good too but they do give you tiny portion of noodle or rice. Drinks are a bit pricey but overall, clean and fast.

When Boiling Point is too long of a wait and you’re not feeling Red Flame, this place is perfect! Don’t let this place fool you - their Taiwanese Spicy soup is almost a complete duplicate of BP’s and their Thai soup is actually much tastier and flavorful compared to the previously stated competitors. Price is fair and quality is good for the price - totally recommend!

OMG!! Ok so it was my first time trying Taiwanese food and good Lordt!!! This place was delicious like my taste buds were on a different level. Lets start with the staff, super friendly I give them 5 stars the facility was very clean even the restroom. I was there on a Wednesday night around 6pm it was quick to get a table for 7 ppl. Ok now the food, I loved the shaken beef noodles ugh the meat was so savory and the noodles just perfect perfect. I loved the garlic butter shrimp, and the saltado shaken fríes is yum!!!. We tried three different soups and forgive me I forgot the names but everything was so delicious. My favorite part is the spicy level. I love spicy food and they know spicy here. You can choose but I recommend medium or if you are me I got extra spicy which had me sweating. Ill come back. Loved this place!!

As someone with food allergies, there wasnt much we could eat.If you are keto or gluten free, go before 5pm, and you can add the steak with egg to your choices.My companion had the shaking beef salad, it was delicious. Unlike sb we have in VN restaurants, this was without the sugary sauce. Highly recommend. Loved the chimichurri like sauce they served.I had the salmon and fried rice. The salmon was sliced, then fried. Not my favorite way to cook it, as it is overdone and flavorless. I enjoyed the fresh salad.It is loud. A lot of bouncing sounds from music and customers.My biggest complaint was the timing. They brought his salad (a meal entree) about 15 minutes before they brought my dinner. The kitchen can see it is two meals. Best to back time them to be served near or at the same time.

The owner should be out of business. Server was very rude with me. I just wanted to add mushrooms on my beef garlic noodles but he wanted to charge me 6.95. It’s just mushrooms but he was angry and told me to leave and refused service. I didn’t do anything wrong. He also mentioned that brown people are cheap and I should go back to my country

Came here after grabbing boba from Y Tea, and was greeted immediately! Service was great, food was good, but could use a little of tweaking. First off, my Thai style hotpot was good, but for 22$ I expected more. I got three pieces of pork slices, one fish ball, 1 octopus, two cubes of spam, two calamari rings, two clams, two shrimps and a plethora of sliced cabbages, some mushroom, and two slices of a spongy vegetables, if I added 8$ more, I can have AYCE shabu at shabuya, which would have been more bang for my buck. So I would prob skip on the hotpot. The garlic noodle shaken beef was good. Beef cubes was tender, but noodle was a little salty.

Sometimes people go through hard days. And there 2 things I dont tolerate in food industry. Making someone feeling uncomfortable/unwelcome or blaontenly judgmental. Never have I never a 1 star before this. And revisited location twice. No 3rd time here. Wont say anything bad about the drinks but service wise. Never again.

Love this place but if one thing needs to improve that would be the pig intestine. No matter fried or in the soup, ZZ really needs to cook it longer other wise it is not much better than a cooked rubber in the soup.

Loved the shaken beef and the #5 hot pot..I don’t eat much spicy food so next time I’ll order none because the mild was spicy for me..the teas are amazing, I do not have a sweet tooth and the 25% sweetness was fine for me..I will definitely be back again. Service is amazing and food is amazing!!
