ONON - Fresh Korean Kitchen
1795 S Alameda St E #102, Compton, CA 90220, United States
I love this place! This is Asian Fusion semi fast food place. Its a Korean bowl place. Picture Chipotle for Korean! You get to put whatever you want included in the size and protein choice. I didnt even think to take pics of my food, next time for sure! I had a large bowl with a little spring mix salad, Korean beef, roasted Brussel sprouts and zucchini, tomatoes, English cucumbers and peanut salad dressing for the salad, top with sesame seeds and fried scallions! This bowl was so delicious especially the Brussel sprouts! I went to the Compton location and the gentleman helping me was excellent! I told him it was my first time and he let me sample the chicken and beef, he was patient with me because they really have a lot of choices! Must try! Locations in Norwalk, Compton and Torrance!

DO NOT COME HERE....I get the same order at different Waba grills. I get the Value bowl combo a mini with 1 ?...however the Carson location is the worse of them all. THERE PORTIONS are too small the taco smaller and the mini bowl smaller. Long beach location is perfect....After getting a email ...I came back on 11/1/23 AND THE TACOS AND BOWL SMALLER THAN OTHER LOCATION ...Do not come to this one the cool terrible he put the food on a Scale.

I went here because the food looked really good & the reviews supported that. When i first came in the lady ignored me & spoke to every one else around me. I ordered one roll it took her 30 mins to give to me but made sure to give everyone else their food even tho they ordered multiple items and came in AFTER ME. Even the guy who came in after me and got his food before looked at me like something wasn't right. I won't come back again because I don't like spending my money in places that discriminate against me. If you don't want a person of color eating your food which is strange people yall are people of color then establish that at the ENTRANCE. She always had on no gloves while preparing my food and drowned my roll in sauce smh.

The place might be a little hard to find, as it is a little hole in the wall, but its definitely worth going! There is the option of getting Poke or ordering food off their menu. They have a good amount of options of ramen, sushi and sides. There was even a choice of seafood ramen that resembles 7 mares (A Mexican seafood soup). For the ramen, they had mild and spicy options, and the mild had a bit of a kick to it. We got the chicken ramen, and the vegetable options were interesting, haha. Brocoli was boiled just until it was soft and still green. The carrot was also soft but had a crunch. The egg was boiled, but it wasnt seasoned with soy sauce (still delicious). Overall, it tasted like a home cooked meal. We also got got two rolls, the Baked Salmon roll and Fried California Roll. They were served with spicy mayo and eel sauce (most of the rolls are served with it). We also got takoyaki (octopus balls). All of the food was served in about 10 minutes, and straight off the pot! You can see the steam coming off the ramen. The lady who took our order was quick and efficient and she made our Thai tea in less than 30 seconds. All of our food was about 70 dollars, most of the items are between 10 and 20 dollars, and I noticed their menu prices are different online than their menu inside. Its also much more casual than it seems. Id definitely come back in the future when Im craving Mexican fusion.
