Horrible company. I worked with them two years ago to purchase a house only to find out that they would not honor the banks program after I was sold on it. As a teacher I qualified for this program, which they claimed to be experts with. It was arbitrary on their part not to go through with the program. I by-passed them and went directly with BofA whose program it was to begin with. They say a lot of things that sounds good but when it comes down to it, they really dont know the programs they are trying to offer. Their webinars are misleading and their reps will miss inform you. Fortunately, you dont need their horrible service, go directly to the lending bank. Scotts webinars come across as professional but when it comes down to the brass tacks, they will leave you hanging in the wind. I receive a mailer from them every 4 months or so to remind me about the grief they put me through. Every time I receive one in the mail I call the rep Kathy Argento to tell her to have me removed from the list. Kathy who seems nice, tells me that she has passes it up to her manager to have me removed but I continue to receive the reminder. Ive promised the company and their reps that I will leave a review of their company every time they send me a reminder. Im once again following through with my word because they cant follow through with theirs. This is not the company you want to do business with when it comes to making one of the biggest purchases of your life.
The Soup and Noodle
807 N Tustin St, Orange, CA 92867, United States
Last meal on a weekend on an early Sunday night so happy it was a good one.ITEMS ORDERED:Lomo Saltado Shaken Fries (filet mignon & garlic noodles)House Garlic Noodle (w/ Tuna Steak)TASTE:Lomo Saltado Shaken Fries (filet mignon & garlic noodles) was a very good meal. I havent had an authentic lomo in quite awhile but this fusion version was flavored well, heavier on the soy sauce flavor compared to other lomo you may have had. Its a good balanced, savoury soy, with some sweetness though. It pairs very well with the green sauce (nice creamy texture, little herbaceous & good heat). The filet was very tender, Ive had less tender filet at higher end places. I liked how the fries still held up with some crisp. My only real critique was the garlic noodles for me did not have the most developed, strong garlic flavor. Not bad, but Ive had better.House Garlic Noodle (w/ Tuna Steak) had the same garlic noodles so same thoughts on that. It comes with a soy based sauce, thats sweet & tangy. Its perfectly fine but the green sauce seems to taste good on everything, so the gf just asked for that. Nice options they had the tuna steak as a protein choice & it was cooked well, with the sear & raw inside.Even though we dined in they still served everything in take out containers. Probably one of the few restaurants Ive been to in recent times that is till doing this.SERVICE, LOCATION & PARKING:It was pretty slow when we walked in & the nice employee let me & the gf lick our table. The server who took the order was friendly as well. The interior is quite interesting since it used to be a Mexican seafood restaurant. You can tell from the sign in the parking lot & the booths inside. Atmosphere does not match the food, but no big deal all. Just as observation. Also interior is quite spacious but they do not seem to be utilizing all the space (cuz covid). They are located right on the cormer of Lomita Ave & Tustin St. They have their own parking lot with lots of spaces. As you enter the parking lot, dont let the somewhat rundown look scare you off from the food food.Im very much open to coming back here. Flavors were mainly very much on point & I want more of that green sauce.Cheers!
The Wall
80 Plaza Square, Orange, CA 92866, United States
The Wall is great in theory and they have a lot of potential if they make a few changes. First of all, they should make the cards they give you for self poor be opened with a credit card so you you can just pay as you go and dont have to wait around for a person who is apparently too busy talking to their coworkers to come over and greet you. Then you can get ided and not have to worry when theyll be back and you can just check out with the card at the end. Colorado has many places like this and this concept works incredibly well and is super easy to navigate, maybe a trip to similar places would be beneficial. It should be a standing area and bar like brewery atmosphere. The whole get up of having to sit in the few inside seats or obviously inconveniencing the staff to try to provide an outside table for your party is ridiculous. Especially when your party of two told the staff in advance the group would get bigger. It was next to impossible to spend our money at this establishment and have an enjoyable experience with the staff that was so rude and unwelcoming that I would NEVER recommend it to others and I really hope that management reviews this and makes some changes or this really great idea is going to be an epic failure.
Nguyens Kitchen
445 S Main St B, Orange, CA 92868, United States
It would have been a great place for some good asian fusion quite bites, but overly almost everything was overly salty. The food presentation is good though and made it very appetizing initially. This place is a small restaurant with few tables, but it doesnt get too crowded on a week night. They serve mainly simple quick food that is a fusion of vietnamese and korean cuisine, such as usuing bulgogi in their garlic fries, banh mi sandwiches, and garlic noodles. I ordered their more well known grilled pork banh mi style sandwich, and my ordered their chicken salad. We also got the garlic fries with bulgogi added, and their chicken wings. The Banh mi with grilled pork was really good. I just wish it was a little bit bigger. Its about 6inches total, cut into 2 pcs. For the price I guess its not bad.The garlic fries were okay. It was heavily seasoned, and the garlic was extremely salty. Had they use less salt it would have tasted much better. It comes with green spicy cream sauce, which is very similar to the ones found in peruvian restaurants as a dip for bread. The bulgogi on the fries was so-so. It was overcooked and dried. I couldnt really taste the sweetness of the marinated bbq sauce, which is traditionally used in bulgogi. It was also too salty. The chicken wings were average. It was also extremely salty and overseasoned. The batter was okay, but it wasnt wowed maybe because of too much sodium overpowering all other flavors. It comes with a sweet honey glaze type sauce, which helped a little bit to offset some of the saltiness.

The food was great and the cooks always do amazing. They could do better at not putting things in the container when asked for them to be separate. Every time I ask for either veggies on the side or sauce on the side Im met with eye rolls and I have repeated it they say okay and when I get the food its not on the side. I say nothing because the attitude I get simply for asking for it on the side. The employees are not the best at customer service whatsoever. I go here at least twice a month (if not more) and no one is ever at the counter. Ive waited upwards of 10 mins just to order. Ive seen employees in the kitchen on their phone while there are people waiting to order. (I can understand breaks but thats where break rooms come in. The Kitchen is not appropriate for that.) Most places I dont complain about but when I go NUMROUS times and have the same issue... That is a management problem. I love Waba Grills food... This location can just use some improvements customer service and employee wise. Id come to this location way more often if employees had basic respect honestly.

I Luv Sushi TOO

I love sushi, tambien!*Social Distancing review*I Luv Sushi Too, from the people behind the original I Luv Sushi in Lakewood, replaces their previous venture, Bowls by 39 Degrees, during the poke bowl boom of yesteryear. I always found the food & service to be excellent from Bowls by 39 Degrees, so during our hard times, I made sure to support the staff with my business for lunch.Samurai lunch special (3 hand rolls w/ miso soup & salad)-For $10+, guests can choose any 3 hand rolls from a designated 11 options, complete with miso soup & salad. Immediately, spicy yellowtail & spicy albacore became destined to be my to-go lunch. Generous chunks of sweet, fresh fish greeted this hungry consumer of all things seafood. Ive had larger hand rolls, but not at this price. The hot miso soup & crisp salad completed a perfectly crafted lunch.Service was excellent! Brandon quickly & expertly worked his magic behind the counter, talking shop with me as he went about his business. The owners remembered me from the Grand Opening of Bowls by 39 Degrees, to which I was their very first customer, receiving a free shirt for being so.Parking is at the 99 Ranch plaza, with I Luv Sushi Too located in between Cauldron Ice Cream & Its Boba Time Cafe.Got the lockdown blues? Then, get your daily dose of omega 3s at I Luv Sushi Too. The fish & seafood is fresh, and the lunch specials are very affordable. Adding to that the friendly service, naturally, makes I Luv Sushi Too a restaurant of which I highly recommend!
Aroi Mak Mak
344 Orange St, Redlands, CA 92374, United States
This is not your typical thai restaurant. It is mostly drinking food that you would typically see at food stalls in Bangkok. The prices are kind of expensive but it is understandable after talking to one of the servers. They said that everything is made in house and they get fresh local deliveries on their meats and veggies every other day. With that being said, you can taste the quality of the ingredients in the food. The pork belly and chicken wings was delicious. It comes with sticky rice and a side of a sauce made of fish sauce, ginger and garlic. They are usually on happy hour which is from 4 - 6 pm and 10 - close. As of our entrees we got this egg omelet over garlic rice. When eating this you can tell this is drinking food. The omelet had been sprouts and green onion inside. Also it was light and fluffy. It comes with this hit tamird sauce which is actually on the spicy spicy side but it taste good. We also got the ginger chicken which tasted just like ginger and the shredded chicken was moist. The atmosphere of this place is really nice. It kind of makes me feel like I am at Bangkok. I have never been but from movies and stuff. The only thing I wish I would of got to try is their cocktails. I would highly recommend coming to this place. The only reason why I did not give it 5 stars is that a place can always improve on things. I just dont know what.
Lanta Thai Fusion
724 E Katella Ave, Orange, CA 92867, United States
I was looking for a great Thai place next to my work, and with the great Yelp review I thought I couldnt go wrong. That was HORRIBLE idea. The prices are a reasonable mid range, which Im sure is the reason for the amount of business they were doing at lunch time.I was seated by a very rushed and indifferent waitress at a tiny table. I ordered the Lanta signature stew, and figured it must be good if its what they are known for.The fist thing that arrived was a cup of soup. The should was a clear broth with 1 carrot slice and some mushy cabbage. Honestly the only thing I could taste was the cabbage. Next they brought out the salad and egg roll. I was very surprised to see what look like ranch dressing all over a Thai houses salad. I tasted it against my better judgement and instantly gagged because the flavor was 90% watery mayonnaise. At this point I was very frustrated and hungry so I threw caution to the wind and ate the egg roll. The egg roll was cold and flavorless but was not as gross as the salad and soup.At this point a waitress returned and I asked her to take my salad. She asked me if I didnt like it and I said no the only thing I can taste is mayonnaise. I asked if that was the only dressing they had, and she told me they also had a house peanut dressing. I asked politely if she could replace it with the peanut dressing, she was annoyed but she did so.At this point my entree had arrived which was the Lanta stew and rice. This was not a stew but rather a soup with large over cooked stringy pieces of beef inside. The broth had a greasy sweet flavor, and somehow they manage to service scoop of rice that was crusty on the outside. The waitress returned with the salad with the peanut dressing and it was thick globs of a sticky sweet goo that I could not get through.I could not get through a quarter of my meal before I finally flag down a waitress and paid the bill. Biggest waste of money ever.Im now nauseous, and so sorry I went here.IF YOU LIKE THAI FOOD, SAVE YOURSELF THE DISAPPOINTMENT AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!
Snooze, an A.M. Eatery
240 W Chapman Ave Suite 101, Orange, CA 92866, United States
Famous for its long waits but tasty food, this kitschy eatery hits many of the right notes. The service is friendly and the decor is well-executed to evoke a bygone era but in a fresh way.Now to the food. Everything was really quite good. On this visit I ordered the Benny Duo (an amazing option for those of us who want to try everything) with one classic and one chili verde benedict with shredded pork. I started with the latter and was immediately impressed by the combination of flavors and textures. I liked the layered tortilla base which was almost like a sope. For the traditional benedict, the slices of ham were hearty and the hollandaise was light and creamy. The hash brown cake on the side was a little blah compared to the benedicts, but maybe that's intentional.Around the rest of the table, there was a breakfast burrito, sweet potato hash and a breakfast sandwich. Everyone enjoyed their dishes. To share, we ordered the pancake of the day. I don't remember what they called it, but it had white chocolate chips, chocolate and peanut butter sauce and was divine. The chips melted and got a little crunchy so it was almost like there were toffee bits in the pancake. The batter is dense but stays fluffy. If I had one critique, it'd be about how the delay of an entree was handled. Three of our entrees arrived at the same time and the 4th didn't. After about 10 minutes... we were told one of the elements of the dish wasn't available and was there an alternative they could offer. That's fine and the dish came out shortly after, but why wasn't that asked before everything was brought out 10 minutes earlier?Anyway, it's not something that will not bring us back, but is something that could be improved.
