Titans Pho Asian Bistro
31654 Rancho Viejo Rd Suite C, San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675, United States
After a tiresome 5-hour drive, I stumbled upon Titans Pho Asian Bistro, and it turned out to be the best decision. Upon entering, I was warmly greeted by a kind and welcoming woman. The serene atmosphere, with only four customers present, provided a peaceful respite. Opting for the combination pho and veggie egg rolls, every bite was a delight. What stood out was the attentive service, especially from the same lady who greeted me – perhaps the owner or main manager. She effortlessly tended to every customer, exemplified when a fellow diner dropped his spoon; without a word, she swiftly provided a new one. Such attention to detail was remarkable. Her politeness shone through, and to top it off, she gave me a cookie with a thoughtful wish inside of it. I truly appreciated the meaning behind it. Overall, Titans Pho Asian Bistro provided the best pho experience, and I left feeling thoroughly satisfied.

We recently held our Wedding Rehearsal/Welcome Dinner at Rosewood Social and had an absolutely wonderful experience!STAFF: Patrick, the Owner/Manager, along with his attentive waitstaff and bartenders, provided exceptional service from start to finish. Patrick guided us through the entire process flawlessly, from our initial tour months in advance to curating the perfect menu and coordinating every detail on the night of our event. His professionalism and genuine hospitality made our evening truly memorable.EXPERIENCE: Our event, hosting approximately 55 people, took place in their private dining area and spilled over onto the charming balcony, creating a delightful indoor/outdoor ambiance. Rosewood Social impressed us with its elegant and balanced design, unlike many other rustic restaurants we considered in San Juan Capistrano. The outdoor balcony, anchored by a bar and featuring a fireplace with cozy lounge seating, was beautifully designed and enhanced by the warm glow of string lights, creating a perfect summer evening atmosphere.FOOD / DRINKS: The food was outstanding, especially with their pre-fixe menu. We started with savory Tenderloin Tips and a refreshing Southeast Salad, followed by a choice between Lemongrass Chicken and Jumbo Prawn Tandoori for the main course—both were delightful. Our guests couldnt stop raving about the entire spread, particularly the generously portioned and delicious cheesecake dessert.LOCATION: Located conveniently in Downtown San Juan Capistrano with parking behind the building and easy access via stairs or elevator to the second-floor restaurant, Rosewood Social offers picturesque views of Mission San Juan Capistrano and the historic Downtown area from its outdoor balcony. We couldnt have chosen a better venue for our special evening and highly recommend Rosewood Social for any event or dining experience. Thank you to Patrick and the entire team for exceeding our expectations!
Breezy
31761 Camino Capistrano Suite 4, San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675, United States
Eating here was an oddly negative experience...I was really excited to try it as a new resident to San Juan Capistrano, but was let down and will not be returning. We went for Sunday brunch and immediately walked up to the tablet that they have outside for customers to add their name to the waiting list for a table. The poor experience started right there - a male employee was clearly not enjoying his job and was aggravatedly raising his voice to all customers in the area to add their name to the waitlist...which everyone already had. I understand that he may have been having an off day, but his mood was an immediate damper for all customers. When we got a text that our table was ready, we told him and thought wed be shown to our table. He rudely informed us that we had to order before getting a table, otherwise wed forfeit our table for the next in line. There were no instructions on that on the tablet, on signs, or verbally told to us until that moment. So we stepped aside to decide everything we wanted to order and did so, then were seated at an outside table by the street. We ordered the mushroom avocado toast, honey basil ribeye bowl, a whole milk latte, and a honey vanilla latte. The ribeye bowl was $22 and was good, but very fatty, I wouldnt order it again for that price. Sitting by the street meant that strangers would stop and talk to us every few minutes, so definitely request an inside table. Ultimately, we realized that their business model is to move customers in and out of the restaurant as quickly as possible - this is not a place to go and relax and enjoy your time, its a place where you will be aggressively rushed despite their very premium prices. I highly recommend skipping Breezy and going to a restaurant where they appreciate their customers more. I almost purchased a t-shirt while we were waiting for our table and am so glad that I didnt...I dont want to market their restaurant.
Trevors at the Tracks
26701 Verdugo St, San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675, United States
I recently got married at Trevor's at the Tracks and it was better than I could ever hope for, thanks to Rachel and the rest of the team.I wanted to get married in San Juan Capistrano with an intimate wedding that did not require a whole wedding venue and Trevor's ended up being the perfect spot for this occasion. We held the ceremony in the front entrance patio area with a gorgeous wall filled with plants. The team at Trevor's moved the furniture out of this space to accommodate the ceremony and photos and also had welcome champagne ready for our guests upon arrival. The ceremony, although in a mostly public area, ended up feeling so special and intimate. We then had cocktail hour and dinner in the Heritage Hall/Room. This room was able to accommodate 35 guests (and is wheelchair accessible) with 2 long tables and a sweetheart table, in addition to plenty of other space for cocktail hour. This room also has a private bar which was super helpful for guests to order drinks throughout the night. Both the bartender and servers that assisted with our event that night were incredible with their patience, attention to detail, and overall quality service provided to each one of our guests!Every appetizer that went around for cocktail hour was delicious. I highly recommend the sliders, ahi poke, risotto, and bruschetta. Dinner was also delicious and beautifully plated. I had so many guests rave about the food and how delicious their meals were. I also had many guests compliment the Heritage Hall space and how cozy/intimate it felt with the dimmed lighting and fireplace. Overall, it was a success and everyone left happily stuffed. From start to finish, Rachel was attentive, prompt with her response, helpful, organized and overall a true pleasure to work with. She went above and beyond time and time again with every change or last minute detail to help make my wedding day everything I could hope for. Rachel assisted with menu selection/review, alcohol selection/review, room setup/decor, and logistics throughout the night of the wedding. She focused on all of the details to make the day special, for example, she brought 2 of each appetizer during cocktail hour to our Sweetheart table to ensure we would be able to try each & eat since we were busy with guests throughout most of this time. She truly acted as a day-of wedding coordinator for me on top of her other work and I just can't express my gratitude enough. Trevor's is very lucky to have Rachel as the Director of Private Dining!Thank you so much again to Rachel and the team at Trevor's for accommodating our wedding. It truly was a day I will never forget and can look back with gratitude for all the efforts put forth by the team :)
Mayfield

In short, this is a place for hipsters not families. The food and presentation are good, but also somewhat lazy. The wait staff put in an effort, but in all the wrong ways. Let me explain. We found this place with the expectations of getting true North African/Mediterranean cuisine. We made a Sunday night reservation, and arrived 15 minutes prior to the 615 reservation . The host made a show of seeing what she could do. The resturant was empty and the got us a seat soon after our request. The resturant was nice inside, the music was a little loud to have regular conversation, but not over the top. Once we sat down the waitess came to start our order. She was nice, but again very showy, calling us her darlings and her loves. She explained the format for dining as family style (using about 10 more sentences). We were with our two small children (8 and 9 yo) one of whom is vegetarian, and were told the kids options were fried chicken with cuisecus or fried chicken with fries. Of course nothing was as straight forward in ordering, as you would expect from a hipster resturant. The food came out. It was genuinely good, but the portions were small for the price. Despite waiting over an hour, we did not get one of the items we ordered (chicken). By this time my wife was clearly frustrated and hungry. We asked to just pay for what we received and leave. The waitress was dutiful, but never said anything about the chicken not coming out. She had already included a 20% tip for herself when I went to pay the bill. On the way out, I noted that multiple people who had come in after us were eating the chicken we had waited for so patiently. Needless to say, it was clear that our waitress had forgotten to put in our complete order. We left out of frustration that one of our children didnt have a reasonable option for a vegetarian child, and one person did not gait the main meal. For this reason, I can not recommend this restaurant.
