I am utterly disappointed in this establishment. Two months ago, my friends and I decided to celebrate a birthday here. From the very beginning, we experienced extremely poor customer service. We were seated 25 minutes after our reservation. When we tasted our soup, it was definitely not warm. However, we decided to be understanding and wait for our chef to come cook our food. Although we were beginning to get frustrated, we decided to be patient and wait 45 minutes until our chefs arrival. As our chef began to cook our meal, the eggs and fried rice began to burn which left a lot of char marks on our rice. When the chef asked how it tasted, a friend of mine and the party next to us made a complaint. Without any apologies, he moved onto cooking our filet mignon, chicken, and shrimp. We had told the waiter and chef that we would like our filet mignon to be cooked medium well and medium. Yet, the chef cooked it extremely well done. At this point, I decided to kindly notify the chef that he had cooked our meats incorrectly. He asked if we would like for him to recook the meat; however, we had already waited an hour and a half for our meal and had bar reservations afterwards. We were not going to cancel our plans, because our chef was ignorant and continuously cooked a tasteless and burnt meal. At this point, we decide to tell the waitress and manager how disappointed we were in our meal, seeing that we come to this establishment for special occasions. The manager tried to gaslight us into thinking that our meal was not burnt when we were all showing her how the meal was presented in front of us. In the midst of the manager being in denial and poorly managing a situation, a racist customer on our table began to yell at us for being poor and if we made more money, then we wouldnt complain about our meal and just pay for it. While my friends and I were getting verbally harassed, the management stood there like a bunch of lost puppies and watched us be treated poorly under their roof. Their main concern was for me to sign off on my credit card so they can charge me for my burnt meal. The management followed me to the front of the restaurant for me to sign my check as the customer was still verbally harassing my party. Shame on you Sakura for not knowing how to provide decent customer service and mitigate a conflict happening in your establishment. After many years of loyalty, I will take my hard earned money to other Teppan girls that dont burn their food, and treat their customers nicely. This experience left my loved ones and I disturbed, hurt, and offended. After almost two months, I can finally write this review without entirely getting triggered.

Great poke bowls! Very friendly and kind staff. Quality ingredients, and great portions. Great value for quality poke bowls. Wide variety of fresh and tasty ingredients. Choose a base of white rice, brown rice, or other (greens). Pick 4 fish protein for the large bowl. Plenty of included ingredients: seaweed, crab, edamame, corn, cucumber, ginger, wasabi, onions, green onions, Serrano peppers, etc.. masago, avocado and a few other premium ingredients additional charge. Multiple sauces to add in (spicy mayo, ponzu, fire ponzu, plus a few others); you get three complimentary. Included Dry ingredients include furkake (seaweed), crispy onions, sesame seeds, etc.. soda, kombucha, and other specialty drinks available. Outdoor dog friendly seating. Adjacent to north shore burgers, Starbucks, cafe sola Italian restaurant, El pollo, and a movie theatre. Plenty of lot parking. Also! They have a free rewards program; free bowl with purchase of many (6 or 8).

I used to love going to this Trader Joes location, however its been my experience lately that the staff and management have become childish and disrespectful to its customers. Its such a shame, since I really liked the parking situation, store layout, and its proximity to so many other stores on Foothill Blvd. in La Canada, CA.One time when I was shopping there, I was speaking to the cashier about the behavior of some employees, and the cashier mentioned that none of the female staff can wear stretch pants to work because of a lawsuit brought by a customer (sexual harassment Im assuming). Im not sure if that situation happened at this location or not, but the mere fact that this even occurred is seriously disturbing, and that the cashier felt it was necessary to let me know this fact was very telling.Advice to management and senior management: reel in all your employees who are behaving inappropriately to any customer. Customers do not go to their local Trader Joes for childish behavior, attitude problems, and harassment. We go to get groceries and even better with a genuine friendly attitude and smile to add not subtract from our day. This should go without saying.

Hello Pizza,My home away from home. I can come here with my two kids and be completely comfortable knowing that we can have a great meal and enjoy it while not being judged for being to loud or bringing kids out in public.The food is great! the staff terrific! when we go out for pizza we always come here. The pizza is definitely different. Its a fusion style pizza but to me it seems healthier than Pizza Hut, Round Table and other generic pizza stores.It does get loud with the kids sometimes, but if you really dont mind kids being kids then it is a great sit down place. If the noise is too much then enjoy a to go.The owner is always very sincere and fair to not just his customers but to his employees as well and he takes care in each pizza he makes. What I love about his pizza shop is that he is always trying new things here and there and will sometimes even send it out gratis for us to try and review.My diabetic father can eat here, they used to have wheat dough but sadly have gotten rid of it due to un popular demand. Wish they would bring it back though.If youre tired of the same old pizzas then go give this place a try and if you dont mind the kids or have kids and dont want to feel stressed or judged while eating out. Then sit in and enjoy top notch service that you will NOT get from any other place.Plus they got sports playing all the time on two different TVs so its great to be able to watch the game while still being out with family.The only thing I dont really like, and this is a personal thing, is the toy vending machines. It makes the whole place look tacky. Without that junk in the corner I think their place would be that much nicer and more inviting. Heck they can probably make room for more tables. :) Oh and maybe get proper frames for the awesome pictures they have on the walls make it look nicer. haha. again just personal opinion. But otherwise. Fantastic place and I hope they grow and stay here for a long time.

Fried chicken is one of those classic comfort foods that is so good that if I had to chose a single food for my last meal, it would be on the top of my list. Fried chicken isnt practical to eat everyday unfortunately, otherwise I would probably eat daily. So you could say I have a love for fried chicken. Honeybird is located next door to the Panda Express in an unassuming white building and could easily be missed. We arrived there around 3:30 in the afternoon on a Friday and there was only two people in the whole place. We ordered the regular Honeybird and Freebird sandwich combos and had them cut in half so that we could try both of them. I ordered for my side the coleslaw and it was ok but not memorable. Honeybird knows their stuff when it comes to fried chicken. I recently been on a mission searching for the perfect chicken sandwich in the southern California area. Loved Howlin Rays for what it is, being a Nashville hot chicken joint. Tried Crack Shack recently and wasnt impressed at all. I also tried many mom and pop locales that have been popping up everywhere. My search may be over. I tried the Honeybird and Freebird sandwiches and both were delicious! They give you a side of honey mustard along with your sandwiches that adds to the flavor but without it, it would still be delectable. The flavor from the herbs and spices is out of this world, I believe they use dark meat for the chicken sandwiches which is something very different from the rest of the pack. The Freebird had the perfect amount of heat without overpowering the flavor of the chicken. The sandwiches were so good that I had to put in another order for just their fried chicken. I had to confirm if my taste buds were telling me the truth or if I was just really hungry. It was true. I ordered single breast and you can tell that it was brined because it was flavorful, moist and juicy throughout. I have a sister whos moving away from La Canada soon and admitted that the only reason she would be coming back to the area would be for Honeybird and I can see why.

3.5 Real Score -- Ive been here a few times mainly because its close by, and overall I would rate this place as a good boba spot, but not spectacular and not necessarily high quality. Being in the San Gabriel Valley, we are spoiled by tons of amazing Boba shops and this one will definitely hit the spot for the local crowd. This saves a trip all the way down into Alhambra or San Gabriel or even Old Town Pasadena, but most of those places would beat this spot on flavor, quality of tea, and texture of boba. Dont get me wrong, Im still going to come here because its only like 2 miles from my house and its still is a satisfying drink. But if Im willing to venture out a few minutes more when theres no traffic, I will definitely hit up my regular places in the areas I mentioned above.

A La Cañada Flintridge staple best known for its amazing TABLE SIDE GUACAMOLE that is seriously to die for and the BIG BERTHA CHALLENGE, the 11 inch burrito-like creation that is stuffed to the point of bursting, smothered in cheese, and covered in enchilada sauce. If you can finish her off in one sitting, they will take your picture for display and give you a t-shirt!They also have Taco Tuesdays, Cinco de Gringo (on the 5th of every month they practice for Cinco de Mayo!), Happy Hour (3-5pm on weekdays and 9-11pm on Weekends), late night Dirty Dogs (just like the street hot dogs in Hollywood!), al fresco dining on the patio, specialty margaritas (think watermelon, dragonfruit, pineapple, pomegranate, raspberry, cucumber mint, or grapefruit), and a scrumptious weekend brunch (Weekends from 9am to 2pm) with drinks served for those needing hair of the dog.Its changed locations from the strip mall across the street from Trader Joes to the former location of Conrads (another staple of the town that will be missed) in the Gelsons shopping center. The dining room is separated into three sections, the bar area, the main dining room which is huge, and a decent sized patio. That patio was a big part of my teenage social life and is still a great place to eat on mild summer nights. Theres always sounds of laughter and gaiety that is infectious and will leave you feeling upbeat and loving life.You cant go wrong with anything on the menu here and you can ask for any dish to be made mild or extra spicy. The margaritas are dangerously good and there is a bar area where you can also eat if you want to sit away from the family friendly area to really enjoy that margarita. Take out is always packaged well and the orders are generously portioned and accurate. Fun fact; the ownerss daughter is Sochi Olympics Luge star, Kate Hansen. All of La Cañada Flintridge is proud of her!

We have struggled to find Thai food in Los Angeles that has been solid, we came here on a friends recommendation and it was by far our worst experience to date. Came for dinner, restaurant was nearly empty, had a completely space cadet and inattentive waitress who could not multitask to save her life. We ordered multiple dishes, all lacked flavor, and when I say flavor I dont just mean heat. Basically bland. We needed heaps of chili sauce to even make it palatable. I could go into further detail but I was so bothered by the whole experience I really dont want to relive it in my head. I would absolutely never go back here. Food and service were both VERY bad. I almost spoke out but my husband just said to leave, that we would never come back. Go anywhere else, this place isnt worth it.
