Dragon Express Chinese Restaurant
3005 E Palmdale Blvd #18, Palmdale, CA 93550, United States
The food is literally just “o.k.” It's not bad but it's not amazing! I would say it's the most decent takeout place I've been to though. I guess if you're not from NY or FL you just accept what you can get but this place is missing a lot of popular Chinese food dishes I'm used to:… no pupu platter, no dumplings, no sesame chicken or general Tao's, no duck, no fried scallops or fried chicken wings and the egg rolls are actually spring rolls! .. I had the bbq pork-it was fresh but not juicy and no bbq sauce on it (I'll ask for extra sauce next time) I also had teriyaki chicken but it was very dry. The rice and lo mein (probably sat at under the warmers too long) tasted like it was sitting for awhile (I think I got the last of it and they were refilling it as I was leaving) I asked for cheese wontons and heard the lady at the counter yell to the cook “cheese wonton” but I got home and saw it was crab rangoon which was a nice surprise. The service was nice, the ladies at the counter were very nice and professional but the additional charges for spicy sauce, sweet and sour sauce and soy sauce was ridiculous! .. not normal at all to charge that much for condiments to help the food you serve taste better. But this is still becoming one of our go to places lol. I LOVED the orange chicken! So good!
Goldfish Japanese Restaurant
3135 Rancho Vista Blvd suite g, Palmdale, CA 93551, United States
Currently I'm up in the air about this place. I was in the area as noticed all the traffic this restaurant had so when my sister invited me to another place we frequent I asked her if we could try Goldfish. We went in a little after opening and there were three parties seated. We looked at some of the dishes coming out and they looked and smelled delicious. We ordered mixed tempura, grilled shrimp, hot green tea and a sashimi bowl. Or order took a while to come out but we were catching up on things, plus good things come to those that wait so I'm told. Everything looked beautiful. The tempura was crisp. Vegetables were adequate size but the shrimp were mostly batter. My sister had the sashimi. She said the rice was tasty but the fish wasn't as good as our usual place. I took a bite of the grilled shrimp and broccoli and it tasted like fuel. At first I thought it was me. I asymmetric sister who by the way is a chef to taste it. She was of the same opinion. With a little effort we caught the attention of a server because by now the place was full. She apologized and asked if I wanted a replacement, a new dish or a refund. I opted for the ginger chicken. She took the entrée and left the rice and salad. This time my order took so long I had to ask them to pack it to go. It was time to pick my son up from school. I have to admit the ginger chicken smelled delicious. The waitress brought the bill and she explained how she gave us a 20% discount. We thanked her and left. While waiting for the new entrée I did eat my salad which was fresh but the dressing was bland. I didn't eat my rice because I didn't come for white rice. I was surprised to see the to go package only had the ginger chicken in it. Maybe you can see why I am on the fence here. They tried to make it right which I appreciate. The food appeared to be good and everyone has a bad day. I just don't know if at those prices I want to chance it again. My sister got one cup of hot tea, more batter than shrimp and although they replaced the entrée it took so long I had no time to try it. Then no rice in the to go.
Tokyo Steak

We have been to this restaurant a handful of times, and most times it has been an enjoyable experience. The food is good, typically the service is decent, and there is usually a good show from the cook. The show is part of what you pay for when you come to a place like this with 5 kids.Tonight, however, we did not get any bot of a show from our cook. I had asked for a few accommodations to our meals. Between the 7 of us, we split 4 meals. I asked him for how we needed things made and divided before he even started cooking. I still had to walk around and make sure everything went on the correct plates. And I had to cancel the side order of tempura because we were all done before it was ever even close to ready. For 4 meals (1 adult, 3 kids), 4 kids drinks, and 3 adult beverages they charged us over $175 plus the added tip. They also charged us for a party of 8 instead of 7 which made the tip even more. I understand the prices when service is adequate. You pay that price for the experience. If we didnt want the experience, we would have ordered take out, or eaten somewhere else. But what was really frustrating was the response from who we assumed are the owners. All we got was sorry, we are busy. Nothing at all to make up for the lack of service/experience. I understand they were busy... it is mothers day. But every other cook gave an amazing show, and my kids had to watch from afar waiting for our turn that never came, and nobody even cared! I am just so frustrated that nobody cared the slightest bit. We waited a decent amount of time to enjoy the experience, and got nothing....
Panda Express
37134 47th St E, Palmdale, CA 93552, United States
Visited early January & the frontline staff were sub parr when compared w/ other Panda Expresses. They made mistakes (most egregious being designating Spring Rolls as an entree item (instead of side appetizer as I ordered which was probably more expensive) & failing to provide the ordered item A rather unpleasant (Supervisor?) who had very shoddy customer service was indignant that I called them on the mistake (after I waited in line again). When she explained that I wasnt charged for Spring Rolls (she smeared food sauce over my receipt) I offered to purchase another entree but she said there were too many people I was keeping waiting in line & w/ very bad grace provided the missing Orange Chicken but only filling the container less than 3/4 full. How was I delaying the other customers? I had waited my 2nd turn & could shuffle forward to pay - just like everyone else. Not only did she leave me w/ a bad feeling w/ her unprofessional manner & rudeness by not taking responsibility & apologizing for their confusion, but she stole the cost of an entree from Panda Express. Ill not be returning. The staff at the Panda on 10th street near the mall are generally better behaved. Think Ill visit them today to confirm. Beef & Broccoli sounds good...
Teriyaki Madness

For take out the food was good. I ordered the Spicy chicken the chicken was a little dry but great flavor. My disappointment Was with the customer Service. Maria took my order. She seemed upset that I wanted to pay with a large bill. Once I got my order. There was a Discrepancy. in the total on the receipt. when I asked about it, She immediately became defensive and without looking at the receipt.Told me that I was wrong. At that point a manager intervened. I believe she said her name was Selena although she was not wearing a name tag. Selena was quite aggressive and even though I pointed out the era on their signage, she flippantly told me that they did not make the sign.....

There were five if us,and we decided to eat here and we were pleased with the food.We all got 2 choices with our rice or chow mein noodles. The dishes were warm and seemed fairly fresh for the most part. Some of us got vegetable spring rolls as there are also chicken spring rolls and another got fried shrimp.I got kung pao chicken and honey walnut glazed shrimp with my chow mein. The kung pao was not over the top spicey and the honey walnut shrimp were good and I liked the texture of both dishes. The sweet and sour sauce was hot and flavorful and went well with everything. The staff was personable and polite during our order process. The only reason I am giving this place a 4,is because I had to wipe crumbs off the table myself which were visible from the counter where we were ordering our food which was like ten feet away so they werent small crumbs, and we all know that can be a bit of a turn off.

Raizel Ramen
2250 E Palmdale Blvd suite a, Palmdale, CA 93550, United States
I do recommend. Great service by a friendly guy. My order was well presented in a Take Out format & ready in 30 minutes. The Bao Buns were fluffy & chewy enough to be fabulous. Very fresh & excellent quality cucumber, lettuce & cilantro. Unfortunately there was something sweet in them that I did not enjoy - I prefer savory - sweet belongs in the dessert course. Im disappointed that there was no mention of sweet in Chicken Karaage description. Reading mention of their Wasabi Sour Cream I had asked for a side thinking Id add it to my Buns. Very disappointed. It was sweet & not the least bit hot - if they used real Wasabi it was only enough to add mild accent color - not flavor. The Bao Buns were so well assembled that I would still recommend them. It was my fault that I didnt Google Curry Katsu: While it bears the curry moniker, katsu is far removed from its Indian and Thai counterparts. Its got a sweeter, fruitier flavour thanks to a base of caramelised onion, garlic and carrot. Then, its spiced with mild curry powder and soy sauce, and sweetened with some sugar or honey. Again - well cooked & presented but way too sweet for me. Now the 2nd entree: Spicy Yaki Ramen w/ chicken was really great. Flavorful, spicy, well cooked & savory! I also liked that it wasnt a soup. Enjoyed enough that I will return & make better educated selections.
