Then a white guy came in he skipped over us and said hi sir dine in or take out? Then walked away to the back came back ask the guy again so I walked out. Very rude I would say. You lost one customer sadly.
Bai Cebu Lechon - Suisun City
303 Marina Center, Suisun City, CA 94585, United States
I recently stopped by again at this place and what a joy it was running into the owner, Jojo, who is enthusiastic and proud of his culinary skills. And rightly so as Cebuanos are regarded as the masters of lechon roasting in the Philippines.Though these folks do whole hogs for special occasions or order, their main offering on a daily basis is the belly rolls. Its actually a technique I didnt know about, but once I saw it, I was floored and thought it was genius. After all, the pork belly of the lechon is the cream of the crop, so why not specialize in serving the most sought after cut of the pig? And youre in for a treat because Jojo has his personal spices, a highly kept secret, infused in the meat and I could distinctly taste the unique flavor. It is unmistakably infused, I cant put my finger on it (its a secret remember?), but I think its lemongrass among a lot of other things. But, forget deconstructing it and just go in and enjoy this place. Its reasonably priced, the staff works hard to please its patrons, and above all, itll make glad you support a mom & pop restaurant.Filipino food has a tough time showcasing its culinary virtues against a lot of other ethnic cuisines, especially Asian ones, and this place is a good ambassador of the Philippines.Good luck and Im confident youll like it. I wish this enterprise the very best.
Sukhothai Cuisine

The food was delicious, and great portions! The noodles and larb were both flavorful and well made. This is a legit family restaurant, and there is a lot of value to that in itself. Everything tastes better when you feel that love and pride in their work :) bonus points for craft beer selection from Asian brothers. We will be back!
Panda Express

I usually have a good experience here but today was terrible. I went through the drive thru. The woman who took my order sounded so rude. Her tone was impatient and she sounded as if she could care less about speaking with me. You could almost hear eye rolls in her manner of speech. I wasnt being one of those customers; I knew exactly what I wanted when I pulled up, didnt order anything complicated, ordered a small plate for myself only, and had a polite and friendly attitude; even with her sounding so inconvenienced with my presence.I waved off her attitude. Shes probably just having a bad day? We all do. Cant say Im perfect. She tells me the mushroom chicken would be a 6 minute wait. No biggie. Things have to be cooked sometimes. So I opt for teriyaki chicken instead.I get to the window. I dont think the young girl named Anna (her nametag) was the girl who took my order because the voice I heard at the speaker didnt really match this person. However I couldnt be positive because she literally said zero words to me my entire transaction with her. I smiled at her (forgetting I was wearing a face mask) and said Hello how are you today? holding out my card.SNATCH.Literally snatched it out of my hand and didnt make eye contact with me or even give me my total.I was a little confused. Asking myself what was going on with these peoples day to make them so cold towards me when Im trying to be gracious towards them for putting themselves at risk and coming to work just so we can have something to eat.I ask her Could I please have some teriyaki sauce with it to?She thrusts the card back in my face. She leaves. Reappears with my bag and thrusts it in my face again.I say Thank you guys so much have a great day!Again, no eye contact. No words.Just turns and walks off from the window.I honestly didnt even enjoy my food because I felt so horrible after this experience.Im not going to be one of those people who say Oh Im never coming back here ever again because thats stupid and of course I will. Im not one to really write a review unless something terrible happened.I work at a fast food restaurant; I know how it can be. But one thing I dont ever do is take my bad day or personal issues out on customers. Especially ones who are genuinely trying to show that they are appreciative. It takes one bad encounter with an employee to turn the whole experience sour and unfortunately I may have had two of them during my visit today.Sad.
Ayemis Poke & Deli
700 Main St, Suisun City, CA 94585, United States
Ordered a poke bowl. The fish had frost bite. The cashier told me its because it was cut fresh, but if youre serving customers to dine-in, the food has to be edible and ready to eat right away. Because of my particular problem, she suggested to take it to go so it will have time to thaw out. This is unacceptable. I felt uncomfortable because of her suggestion. I hate wasting food, so I took the food to go. We had plans afterwards, but we had to go back home because of this food needing to thaw out.Edit: If the food isnt ready, then dont put it out? Simple solution. I wanted white rice and that wasnt available. I understood and opted for something else. Would you place chicken out that wasnt cooked thoroughly to meet demands? The fish wasnt even cut well. Neither were your other food items that were put out. They were cut haphazardly in a sloppy manner. I wanted to go to the event in Suisun that day and had a hard time finding parking. Your suggestion for me to go back home and come back because of your poor customer service and bad food quality is laughable and ridiculous. For anyone thinking to go to this establishment for poke, dont. I cant speak for their other foods because I havent tried them personally, but their poke isnt good. There are much better options out there.

3 stars because the food is always delicious. However, Im not sure what happened today. I am a former server/bartender (over 15 years) AND still a Suisun resident. I walk to Babs for breakfast. I came in and asked to be sat, table for 2. My mother was coming also. I was told my WHOLE party had to be here to be sat, so one other person had to show up to be sat. There were about 4 or 5 completely empty tables, but really no issue, I know restaurants have their rules. Ok, Ill wait. I go outside and a woman walks in by herself, I think nothing of it really, then car after car drives up, of course, its BABS! About 10 minutes later another woman walks up solo, and that grabs my attention. I wait, she never comes out. Hmmmmm....I walk in and she is sitting at a table with the first woman I saw walk up after me, ALONE, and there are 3 water cups on their table. Now I have an issue! I think, wasnt that woman waiting for her whole party? I stand by the door and no one says a thing to me until I finally say, to the same girl, Since theyre waiting for their whole party, can I sit down?Oh, yeah, sure. grab a tableI go and find my own table, no one seating me. For HER to be irritated with ME was surprising. Please train the people who greet guests to treat everyone the same. What was the point of that? If you are slammed and in the weeds, I completely understand waiting. But to let the very next person walk in, sit and wait for a party of 3 to show up? I should also mention the 2 men sitting solo when I came in again, who were waiting for their guests. I was a bit confused with this situation. That was not a great experience and Ive been coming here for years!
Joy of Eating Caf
535 Solano St # A, Suisun City, CA 94585, United States
We went there for Mothers Day and was so disappointed. We wont ever go back. It took forever for us to get our food. The food was so bland as if they didnt use any seasoning; not even the basic salt and pepper. I ordered the Missing Link omelet and it was so bland that I had to add salt, pepper and sour cream just to be able to eat it. The homestyle potatoes that come with it were so bland that I added salt, pepper and tabasco and it was STILL bland. My dad ordered the crab sandwich and found that they canned crab meat (he uses the same crab meat on his nachos so he knows) on a sweet bread. He ordered a side of fries and they seemed like they were the frozen ones you can buy at the grocery store. My mom ordered an omelet and it was also bland but hers had avocado on it so it helped with the taste. However, her homestyle potatoes tasted like fish (so nasty). While my mom was waiting for the restroom she had a clear line of sight of the kitchen and what she saw made her stomach turn. She said that the homestyle potatoes were sitting out (not covered or anything) and one of the cooks that was making a sandwich had wiped his hands (not washed) on a rag that was sitting out before he finished making the sandwich. I question the food that the people on here are saying it was good food because the food we had was so far from good. We were so disappointed that I just spent time writing a long review. THATS how disappointed and disgusted we were.
Waterfront Comics
609 Main St, Suisun City, CA 94585, United States
Place Sucks. I took my kids there who had been ANXIOUS to collect comics. When ever my daughter would ask any question in regerds to comics or any Superhero the guy behind the counter (the owner) was not friendly, not engaging, and very short. Needless to say by the end of my daughters purchasing experience. She did not wanna go back there. Said she preferred the comic book store in Concord/Pleasant Hill, which we had previously gone to then Water Front Comics. She liked the store and better. Said the employees were much pleasant and didnt mind answering her questions. Aside from that i came a time before and when i pulled up the door was open. I get out my car and walk over and the door is closed and locked. Its 2:00 on the afternoon. Sign says OPEN. THE hours on sign says on Fridays 11-7pm. Im pissed now cause Mind you i drove here from Vallejo. No closed sign, no note on door saying they went to lunch. Ask me they do bad business, unprofessional business behaviour. To close any time without warning or notification just cause you are the owner is not right wjen someone was coming to patron your store. Only reason store is still open os cause theres no other alternative within reasonable miles or close proximity. Ifbi had 3 hands i give it 3 thumbs down ???
