A remodel would do wonders for the ambiance, aligning the decor with the quality of the food.Despite the need for an aesthetic update, the fantastic food makes this restaurant worth a visit. If you can overlook the dated decor, you're in for a treat with some of the best Chinese dishes around.

Wow !! So happy theres a real healthy, completely Plantbased restaurant in this side of the town. Definitely a great movement for planting seeds on health is wealth and so much more !!!!Mr. Tune is so kind and really helpful. They just opened up but everything is super clean and organized.The food is incredible delicious and fresh !I could eat this Summer roll & quinoa kale warm salad everydayyyyyyyyy !!! Comes with tofu, oyster mushroom, pumpkin and all the veggies! Talk about nutritional dense food! Have to disagree with most of the reviews here. Thought the whole grilled fish was their specialty. Came and ordered just that. Fish wasnt even fresh. They admit it was frozen. It was half submerged in sauce that tasted pretty sad. No red chilis, sesame seeds and didnt look like the picture at all. Was the worst tasting grilled fish Ive had. Spoke to owner who said the fish was in fact not their specialty.Ordered a Shaanxi noodle dish instead which is supposed to be their specialty. It was greasy and diny taste good.

Wow...what a delightful treasure hiding right in plain site! Weve been driving past this location for years and never took the time to investigate, to our loss.Located at the corner of Glendora Ave and Foothill in downtown Glendora, its hard to miss this cozy little deli... unless youre me. My wife and I happened to be on Glendora Ave looking for somewhere to have dinner, but fortunately the first couple of places were closed. When we finally made our way to Karas it was almost 9 (closing time) and there were only a couple customers still eating.Surprisingly they let us have a table and gave us the full menu regardless of the late hour. The fact that we were outside due to Covid-19 restrictions somehow even served to make the nights dinner more delightful. I ordered fried liver, mashed potatoes and green beans, a course I had learned to love from my grandparents when I was 8. My wife got a roast beef sandwich, au jus with French fries. Both were very good and service provided was very friendly even for the late hour.Finally, the prices were very affordable which honestly due to the location was a pleasant surprise.All told I highly recommend Karas, and we plan on going back very soon!

While you wont think youre in Monterey Park, its a very good Chinese restaurant. Hot & Sour soup was excellent, pan fried noodles far better than most places. Sweet & Pungent Shrimp was exceptional. Prices are very reasonable the service attentive. Definitely a local gem.

Portions are just right. Flavor of the pho is amazing and authentic, with mint lemonade. Refreshing and sweet. I had friends join me on this dine in and had shrimp paste vermicelli, wonton egg noodle soup, and jumboshrimp rice noodle and egg rollsThe shrimp paste vermicelli was spot on with seafood flavors. And has tofuThe wonton egg noodle soup was deliciousAnd the jumbo shrimp rice noodle was good as well but the shrimp werent as jumbo as I thought they were gonna Be.The eggrolls are good fresh lettuce and mint is a plus ! Will be back for more!!

If youre contemplating trying this place... stop thinking, and just come. Highly recommend this place to everyone. I am writing this review after several visit, and each visit has always meet my expectations.The food is very tasty, and consistent. Ive ordered the House Filet Mignon several times, and every time the steak is flavorful, and melts in your mouth . The staff is always friendly (even under high pressure). Ive enjoyed this place enough that I have introduced family and friends, and this place has quickly become all of our favorites.If take portion into consideration, the portion sizes are generous. Ive even ordered take out over the phone, and the take out portions are no different.My only feedback is that the space can get crowded, and wait times to be seated can be long at times. However, it is understandable with the fantastic food they are serving.To the staff, you guys are all amazing. My interactions with everyone there has been pleasant, and I thank you for that!

I will start by saying I have never done a review before, ever. Positive or negative but I had such a bad experience I felt the need to share.We got a $10 off coupon in the mail and we were excited to use it. The restaurant isn't super close to our home so I had my husband pick it up after work. I told him anything sushi. My husband walks in and asks if they have sushi. The guy says yes and hands him a sushi menu. My husband then says I'm ready to order and the guys says “oh the sushi guy isn't here. It's going to be 10-15 minutes until he's back but that should be okay right?” By husband then says he'll just order something else. He orders the Kung Pao scallops for me and the deal of the day for himself, honey chicken. The guy says they don't have enough scallops but they can use half shrimp. He says that's fine. He asks if it comes with rice and the guys says no. My husband gets home and for $20 (which should have been $30 but we had the coupon) we got two entrees that were maybe the container size of a chipotle bowl. No sides, no rice, no noodles. Just the entree.The food was nothing special. Wasn't bad but wasn't something I'd order again. Small portions and quite expensive.

This place was such a humungous disappointment should of listen to the warning on the Reviews not to go here Boy!!! how upset to find out how horrible the food is my food tasted old and microwaved the chicken in the chicken pad thai was dry hard and tasted bad didnt even taste like chicken the noodles were worse so so bad tasted like mayonnaise was mixed in which is very nauseating just thinking of them now i never been so disappointed this food tasted nothing like what it supposed to taste like and today i woke up extremely sick and was vomiting this morning and my stomach hurts i got diarrhea i been nauseated all morning long i believe I have food poisoning who ever the cook is doesnt have a clue what there doing i am very sick i feel horrible i definitely have Food poisoning my body feels terrible Please!!! Do yourself a huge favor and dont come here so you know it was 43.00 for 3 menu items and 2 drinks it bit pricey Especially for horrid food This isnt a joke go somewhere else
