Kung Fu Noodles
557 W Channel Islands Blvd, Port Hueneme, CA 93041, United States
My Mom and I have been waiting so long for this place to open, and we were finally able to try it today. The wait was worth it! Boba milk tea was not sweet and the boba was the perfect consistency. I'm not a seafood eater, but have been wanting to try takoyaki since I saw it in my favorite anime years ago, and man, Kungfu Noodles did not disappoint! There were at least two pieces of calamari in my piece of takoyaki and I couldn't even tell it was seafood - It was delicious! The beef noodle soup is (since I'm currently eating it) so good: It smells amazing, the beef tastes so good and doesn't have any fat, the broth is so good and the noodles are thin and tasty. The complimentary mango smoothie was very impressive and tasted so good too! Mom said we'll have to go back and try the taro :) My family and I will definitely go back to sample the rest of the small but delicious (I'm sure) menu :) The staff was kind and friendly too. Thank you for dinner!

We absolutely love love love ❤️??? the Mandarin House you cannot get anything better. No matter what I have chosen to eat whether its the shrimp and broccoli (which is on there healthy menu, although most of their menu is healthy)  the chicken chow mein, or the manchurian beef (which is so tender it just melts in your mouth) it all amazing. I have eaten most things on their menu and honestly have never once been disappointed . If youre looking for something spicy they can take care of that as well with szechuan shredded beef, or rainbow chicken.I have been coming here since I was born and my parents even before that over 35 years. We love the owners Jennifer and Richard. This is a GREAT place to take a date or just to go out with the family. They have many different alcoholic beverages my absolute favorite is the ZOMBIE but they have many to choose from. If youre looking for just some appetizers the Poo Poo tray is amazing. This has a few of everything fried shrimp, beef kabobs, eggrolls, pork spare ribs and depending on how many people is how big of a portion  you will get. Everyone can order there food individually or you can do it family style were aa few entrees are chosen and everyone just spins the lazy Susan to share the meal. They have dessert too. All and all The Mandarin House is the ABSOLUTE BEST PLACE AROUND IF YOURE LOOKING FOR ASIAN QUIZNE!! I and P.s they offer takeout too you just need to call ahead and pick it up. I wont go anywhere else. Thanks again Jennifer and Richard, and be seeing you guys really soon

Broasted Chicken
325 E Port Hueneme Rd, Port Hueneme, CA 93041, United States
Excellent pancit. The lumpia was just o/k. I still dont understand why Filipino restaurants use Chinese egg roll wrappers instead of genuine Filipino lumpia wrappers?? It makes all the difference in the world. If I wanted an egg roll, I would go to a Chinese restaurant and buy an egg roll. We got there about an hour before they closed so couldnt try the adobo because all of that food was already sold out or too late to cook more. Now lets get to the chicken. The chicken is cooked to order. It is broasted which means its lightly coated with batter and deep fried in a pressure cooker. This seals the juices in because it crisps the outside of the chicken as soon as its dropped in. It takes about 15 minutes to cook the chicken so if you think youre gonna order and walk out the door with your food, think again. Filipinos have cooked chicken this way forever and it is amazing!! All you need is a few pieces of this chicken, some pancit and steamed rice and you are good to go.

Chinese Dumpling House
575 W Channel Islands Blvd, Port Hueneme, CA 93041, United States
Been going here for over 15 years- still loving the food and atmosphere and missing it since I moved away, I stop by frequently whenever Im in the area visiting. For lunch just the right portion sizes with a variety of options, all coming with an appetizer, salad, and main course (you can still order from the regular menu as well). For dinner, you can order the family style 3-4 course meal specials (which come out in succession and give you time to enjoy each course) or order a la carte from their family style entrées.My favorites are: lemon chicken, sesame chicken or beef, beef & broccoli, pork lomein. For apps: cream cheese fried wontons cant be beat, the pot stickers have the most delicious sauce youll want to pour all over everything you eat. They also have a great pupu platter with a little fire cup so you can add some fun to your food. The service has always been great, Jenny the owner is gracious and caring. Ive only ever seen one group be upset with the service on a very crowded evening and several guests including myself told them off when they were being blatantly rude and talking down to the staff. Lots of repeat customers and regulars- not to mention its next to the military base so manners are a big deal.Over the years the decor (and size) has changed a lot from a hole in the wall/hallway with plastic tables and chairs to a large dining room with plush booths and contemporary Asian artwork on the walls to a little gift shop area showcasing a lot of the jewelry the owner makes during non-peak hours. Ive bought several pieces for myself and as gifts and they are extremely high quality and beautiful.

Ragin Pot
301 W Channel Islands Blvd, Port Hueneme, CA 93041, United States
Not just a pho place, they have all around good food and a friendly staff. My wife and I got take out here the other day because she was craving soup. I agreed because they also had egg rolls and Banh Mi. The staff was super friendly and helpful after their online ordering system went down.We got take out so only saw the inside shortly but it was clean and orderly. The theme is fun and it definitely looks like a place Id sit down for lunch. The food was great! I got the beef Banh Mi and was surprised of its quality and depth of flavor. The veggies were fresh and the beef was tender and flavorful. All on a fresh roll. Im excited to try the other flavors. Also, these are large sandwiches, about an 8 from Quiznos. The egg rolls were good as usual. Unexpectedly the shrimp wonton rolls were great! Large fresh shrimp in a crispy wonton wrapper, getting those again. My wife, with her abnormal love of spicy food, was able to get them to make her soup hotter than I would be able to eat (and I like spicy). She loved it though and wants to go every day. If youre a normal person their hot is a good spicy soup. While picking up I found that they offered a hot pot to go menu. This looks like a blast and the wife and I will by trying it next time. I added a picture of that menu since I didnt see it on her before we ordered.Overall its a great place that I would highly recommend for soup and much more.

Panda Express

Came in at 5:15 and they had half a serving of old, fried rice and 1/4 serving of noodles, some orange chicken and the saddest looking serving of broccoli beef. Everything else was cleaned out and put away. I asked if they would make new stuff to order. They said they only had what was left out since they close at 6. You would think that they would start the final clean up after they close but they essentially close out the store at 5pm (prime dinner time) and try to sell the leftovers.

Dont go!Unless you like waiting in an unnecessary line because they are only allowing 5 people in at a time, whoever they had letting in people cant count so shes letting in to many people so the other rude lady yelled at me and my kid that they are only allowing 5 people in and we needed to go back outside, when I asked her why there employ told us to enter she rudely looked over at the people that are in line and repeated that they were only serving 5 people and we had to go back out side, customers inside at this time 6 people that had ordered one lady standing in the lobby on her phone not in line and the 2 guys in front of me when they asked for 5 more guests. After that they used the Over the intercom for 3 more guests to come in when they still had the same amount of people and nobody had exited They call the 2nd time so I went in and they rudely said why dont you come in we called you, To which I replied you still have the same amount of people as when you ask me to leave, So she gave me a dirty look and asked me what I wanted to eat, I get the whole covid 19 safety precautions but this lady had on a plastic face mask with a mask underneath it, talking through a microphone that went around to a speaker which was picking up her voice and reverbing it through itself causing a annoying noise that you could not understand what she was talking about and when I told her that I could not understand her she gave me yet another dirty look, Im fine with whatever safety precautions you wanna take but at a certain point if you cant understand your customers or they cant understand you maybe somebody else is better for that position!
