One of my favorite noodle restaurant. They have ramen, Chinese, Taiwanese, even spaghettis, but my favorite are the Thai style noodles. I believe the owner is Thai as well. The Thai noodles is good, so is the Chew Chow(which is Chinese actually) noodles. My kids like the crispy noodles. The pickled chilli is very authentic too.

Absolutely love this place. Well organized, exquisitely maintained, and theres always something being added, repaired, or improved. The staff are always friendly and patient when I interact with them and its never too busy to feel like youre unwelcome.Perfect for family walks, taking your grandparents to get some exercise, afternoon tea, a picnic, or just relaxing on the grass to get some sun. The food can be pricey but the Chinese garden restaurant has some great options. The BBQ jackfruit vegan sandwich and the noodles are highly recommended.Make sure to make an appointment in advance if you want to visit during high-traffic periods.

Jade Court Cafe
1151 Oxford Rd, San Marino, CA 91108, United States
Upon entering the Jade Court Cafe, I couldnt help but feel a sense of anticipation. The location is stunning - nestled within the Huntington Gardens, surrounded by the lush greenery and calming waters of the Chinese Gardens. Every detail of the garden is intentional and nothing short of breathtaking. However, its the food at the Jade Court Cafe that left me feeling less than inspired.I was disappointed to find that the menu didnt quite live up to the surrounding beauty. As a lover of Asian cuisine, I was excited to try some of the dishes that the cafe had to offer. Sadly, the flavors and execution were a far cry from what I was expecting. The lackluster flavors left me feeling unsatisfied and wishing I had just brought my own lunch instead.Despite the cafes location and ambiance, the food was average at best. The dishes lacked the flavors and intentions that one expects from Asian cuisine. I felt like I was paying more for the location and the view than for the actual food itself. Its a shame that the food at the Jade Court Cafe couldnt quite match up to the incredible surroundings. With so many fantastic Asian restaurants in the 626 area, the Jade Court Cafe doesnt quite make the cut. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone who is looking for an authentic, flavorful, and satisfying Asian meal. However, if youre just looking for a peaceful location to sit and take in the beauty of the Chinese Gardens, the Jade Court Cafe might be worth a visit. Just be sure to manage your expectations when it comes to the food, and maybe bring a snack to munch on just in case.
