T L Noodle
8118 West Ln, Stockton, CA 95210, United States
This place is a spacious restaurant that serves up quality Chinese and Vietnamese dishes - hot and fresh. When it comes to pho in Stockton, this place is #1. I highly recommend their Beef Noodle Soup (1b) and Combination Chow Fun (21).

I highly recommend this place for its value in price alone. I just tried their food and I love it. Rice and meat portion is substantial. For Asians its about right but if youre white you might say the rice is a bit much. Most of their food prices are $10 and Ill say their portions are good for 2 people unless if youre a big boy. Grilled steak is absolutely worth $15, I recommend the pro hok sauce. I love the food because of its flavors. Its savory and well balanced, not just soy sauce or salt flavor.Check the pictures below, I placed one of the food in a hefty 10 inch disposable plate so youll have an idea how much one $10 portion is.
Sakura - Japanese groceries & gifts
4343 Pacific Ave Suite A4, Stockton, CA 95207, United States
Sakura is the only Japanese store in Stockton and Ive been coming here for many years since I was in high school. So many imported products from Japan and one of the things I loved the most is the variety of Asian snacks. I like trying different snacks and by far, the Calbee brand snack is my favorite! They have a variety of food products, tableware, kitchen items, and even fresh fish like Salmon. They used to sell freshly made California Roll or sushi thats packaged and placed near the cash register. Due to COVID, they no longer have fresh sushi for sale and was a bit sad about it. But overall, that staff are always super nice and helpful to customers if they needed assistance. So customers are required to wear masks prior to entering the store and they constantly keep everything sanitized and clean including the pens used to sign for the purchase if you use a credit card. I feel that Sakuras staff did a great job and I will continue to come back to the store for more snacks or drinks.
Binge Vietnamese Fusion
5779 Pacific Ave C115, Stockton, CA 95207, United States
First time here and the food was outstanding. We didn't know they have happy hour so we were pleasantly surprised by the prices. We ordered the Banh Mi Fries (fries with grilled pork, veg and spicy sauce) were absolutely delicious. The pork was very flavorful and well cooked. The fried artichokes were also part of happy hour. The dipping sauce set off the flavor in the breading used to fried the artichokes. For entrees we had the lobster roll (with house aioli sauce). A very unique take on a New England classic. The lobster was fresh and tender. The fried rice dish with fried egg and Chinese sausage was a star dish. Excellent flavors all around. Eric was a very accommodating and helpful server. The atmosphere is beautiful. When we arrived they were playing country music which didn't fit the vibe, but it was later changed (thankfully) to something more fitting. Can't wait to come back.
Trader Joes
6535 Pacific Ave, Stockton, CA 95207, United States
I cant believe how bad this place is run. I asked for a mask today and they were dumbfounded; they didnt have any. The TJ brand is of well known quality as also fortified by the Aldi connection being the parent company. Therefore each store location is judged based on efficient layout, size, variety of merchandise carried and the competence of the local manager and his crew. Unfortunately, this store location falls short on many of these local parameters: (a) its undersized by 4-5,000 sf (b) its part of an older shopping center trying to fool you by its facade but not its interior layout efficiency and (c) the crew manning the store is far from professional and TJ-level competent. Its a monopoly situation since it has no other competition in the Stockton-Lodi area and as such the store suffers from severe under-performance. If you want to compare this store to an efficient location then drive 24 miles to the north in Elk Grove where you can truly enjoy the TJ experience. There(Elk Grove) you will find an efficient layout, adequate store size and plenty of eclectic selections, professionalism and courtesy like TJ was designed to offer. I am not sure why Stockton ended up with a mediocre TJ store but this has been going on for years without any signs of improvement. Perhaps its a landlord issue, a tenant issue and the false assumption that mediocrity will not be penalized in a local monopoly situation. The end result is that the Stockton customer is not very well served by its only TJ store which is not in a particularly great location.
Thanh Thanh Sandwiches
707 E March Ln, Stockton, CA 95207, United States
The place is in a rundown neighborhood but we figured their sandwiches are very good and well be in and out quickly. Weve been buying their special sandwiches for $3 each, which was cheap comparing to other similar places. Recently they just raised their prices by about 20% across the board...which is fine due to raising wages. But the biggest gripe I have was they also cut corners by making their sandwiches smaller and skimping on the amount if meat they used now. This makes it comparable to other more upscale delis. Well think twice next time if its worth it to come here again.
Yoshoku
70 W Stockton St, Sonora, CA 95370, United States
I didnt make a post about it before because i thought it was a one time thing, i gave almost a year to give this place another chance just to be called and told they would not serve me because i got food poisoning from their restaurant and i called to tell them i did, to let them know, and they told me they were sorry and to call in to order from now on. Well tried ordering today and as we were about to leave i received a phone call of them cancelling my order and telling me they take food poisoning very seriously here which is why they will no longer be serving me. Just doesnt really make sense but ok. They did refund me but we never diacussed me never ordering from there again, me and my husband both got food poisoning i would never lie about this it is a serious thing which is why i brought it to the restaurants attention in the first place. clearly nothing has changed nor were they gonna change anything to begin with which is why they fired me as a client. Your waitress even said that another client complained about the mushrooms tasting funky and agreed that it could be that. Be Better. Be Healthy. Do Better.
Shermans Chinese buffet 5
5654 N Pershing Ave, Stockton, CA 95207, United States
Update: Thursday, October 26, 2023 PMThe good:they were quite busy tonight. I went at dinner time and because they were busy, most of the food was fairly fresh. The not good:diet Pepsi was miserable. Like brown water. Other issue…any battered food had a heavy heavy coating of batter. Lots of batter and little meat inside! Cheap food. You get what you pay for!______________Wow, there are five Sherman's Chinese Buffet restaurants in Stockton. Well actually four. The one on Country Club is takeout only. No dine in, which I found out the hard way. I had planned on dining there tonight… I walked in and there were no tables. Strictly takeout. I hadn't been there since before Covid!I asked one of the employees which restaurants had tables for dine in. I believe she said all the rest except the Country Club location. So, I chose to try the one on Pershing Avenue.I think it was a good choice. I went during the dinner hour… 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. It is IMPORTANT that you go during peak hours to get fresh and hot food ‼️There were several parties dining in and a constant stream of takeout orders. So they were constantly refilling the steam table. The food is like I remember it from the other location. Same garlic chicken thighs, same fried rice, everything else very similar. Only problem is everything had way TOO MUCH BATTER on it. I tried to peel most of the batter off. I wound up with a whole plate full of batter.(see the photo)‼️All in all it was a good dinner. Less than 10 bucks for all you can eat! Cheaper than eating at McDonald's.Sherman's used to be part of my regular rotation but my rotation got screwed up since Covid. I plan on fixing that by coming back to this location frequently. But…only during the PEAK DINNER hour. (Probably lunch hour too)Nothing worse soggy, battered Chinese food!NOTE: they are appropriately located in the old Dave Wong's restaurant! :)

Sisig & boba
3436 W Hammer Ln SUITE A, Stockton, CA 95219, United States
Recently moved to Stockton and saw this place as I was searching for flip food on maps. I tried their bfast for now. Got the Tocilog and Bansilog. Both tastes as they should. Hearty portions of rice. The plate consist of Protein, egg, and garlic fried rice. I wish they had some kind of vegetable on this side. Maybe atchara or a simple slaw. Also I got the food to go and it did not come with any sauce. Customary I eat silogs with Jufran mixed with vinegar and labuyo, but I didnt get any of that. I didnt have any in my pantry as Im still not fully moved in to my new home. The garlic fried rice didnt have any real garlic in it so Im assuming they used powder so therefore its really lacking that umami. Really thats the only thing keeping the dishes from getting 5 stars. I also asked if they sold Tapsilog but no.In the Philippines I loved getting tapsiolog at 4 am after drinking at the kanto with the tropa so I was disappointed that they didnt have it here. But I will be back to try their lunch offerings. They said they have whole lechon on Saturdays starting at 11:30 am. So I will definitely be back.
