The tofu teriyaki is delishhh!!!! It has deep flavored grill marks, the consistency is just perfect —not too firm, not too soft. The sauce is the right thickness. The rice is perfectly cooked with a good bite to it. It's just a delicious bowl of food! Ahh soo goood! They offer some fried jalapeño peppers on the side sprinkled with lemon pepper seasoning & even those are amazing (as simple as they sound). There's a young gal usually in the front handling the register and phones and she offers exceptional customer service. She is so welcoming & friendly. It is a tiny venue but if you can get passed that, i highly recommend it solely for its delicious food. It is seriously sooo goood!!!!!!

What an interesting little restaurant! I was in the area to pick up a friend, and wanted to try it out after David Chang posted about it. They have such an interesting blend of Japanese and Mexican dishes (the common theme revolving around fresh fish). I can’t really compare this with Japanese sushi restaurants, it’s its own category. With that said, the food was pretty solid. I’m not a big ceviche type food person, so if you like fresh fish with citrusy flavors, they got that here.

Wednesday afternoon Im in a not so good area Yelping for something good to eat.Up pops this place in a cool looking plaza. I dont think anything until I see that it is Birria. Not only is it Birria, It is Birria Cabra (Goat). A true Gem or diamond in the rough. This type of food is extremely rare to find on weekdays. Since most Mexican Restaurants will make this delicious dish only on weekends usually on Sundays and even then the dish is not 100% Goat, mostly Beef and Goat.So the Good!100% Goat Birria. Yup!Hot and Fresh and Literally the ONLY Item on the menu. Great!Comes with a side of Cilantro, Onion, Hot Salsa and Tortilla.Good Service. Our waitress was super happy to see us with smiles and asked us every so often if we wanted something more or refills on the sides or tortillas.My friend and I order a Medio (medium) Plate Each. Comes out hot and has the meat piled on.-Some parts of the Birria Cabra meat were on the dry side. But I mean very little parts, not really something to be a stickler about.- Birria Came in a shallow plate with sauce/broth. I think should come in a bowl instead.- Onion was a little dry and the cilantro a little dry as well.Besides this we were both satisfied. Considering my friend NEVER had Birria before in his life, he literally was wiping his plate clean faster then I finished my plate. So thats a Plus.So to the Adventurous eaters. Deff give this place a try if you like to try new foods and especially if you like Latin Food!Enjoy!

Ill be honest. I thought I had placed my order at another restaurant but I made a mistake and placed my order here. I had never been here before. I had driven by and it never appealed to me. I thought it was just another restaurant that served ceviche and cocketeles. So I had to pick up my food and thought OMG I WILL regret this mistake. Well I couldnt just leave the food. When I got there it was 9pm and they close at 10 and they still had people eating there, picking up orders I mean they were busy. Oh before I forget. The girl that took my phone order was very very nice. She explained the different types of rolls and their ingredients. She was super cool. If you read this review tell your boss to give you a raise, you deserve it. So when I was paying I still had my doubts and I asked her what the hell did I order so she gave me a menu and pointed to what I ordered. I was like this looks yummy. It was very delicious. I honestly dont remember everything I ordered. I know I ordered the Grenudo roll. It wasnt what I expected. It was great. Loved it. The sauce or dressing that they give is really good. Not spicy or bland at all. It has good flavor. I know i ate something that had crab meat on the bottom or the side. That was really good too. Like I said I dont remember the names but I do recommend it. You will not regret it. Oh and the portions are good size. Not exaggerated big but enough to fill u up and still have left over or one order is enough for two people.
