A bit on the pricier end but this small little Japanese restaurant located at the corner of Downtown Monrovia is the perfect place to find authentic Japanese sushi ! Everything is fresh, you can taste the beauty of the food. The thinly sliced salad cucumber was made with precision from the sushi chef but costing at about $6 a plate but not worth the price!Aside from that - our sushi chef Jeffery Tomita was not only a hospitable but you can tell he worked incredibly hard to make every sushi count taste that delicious! The 3 Star is because of the price other than that I would of gave it a better score because of Chef Tomita!

Just had the worst lunch ever at this location. We ordered large beef. The rice was so soaked and soggy that it was like a rice soup. The veggie's portion was bigger than the beef side that you wonder where was the beef? Beef bowl uses weight to measure its beef in each bowl. Since this location give you more sauce, that means you get less beef, more veggie, and a very soggy rice. During the lunch rush hour, beef bowl's employee came by to take out the trash from the trash can. Unfortunately, we sat right next to a trash can. So, we asked the employee to wait for us to finish our meal because we were almost done. The employee looked at us with disgust and discrimination then fling the smelly and disgusting trash bag our way while making tons of noises to show his anger! The manger looked at his action and laughed!

I find this Japanese restaurant really yummy. The atmosphere in there is pretty relaxing and welcoming. The staffs were very friendly and warm. They greet each guest as they enter and leave the restaurant, which made me feel very welcome to their establishment and acknowledge too. I highly recommend this place to Japanese food lovers and first-timers.

I love this place! It looks like a little fast food place that wouldnt be that great but i was very pleasantly surprised. The fish tastes super fresh and its good quality. Ive had some bad quality Sushi before so I know. The salmon is super buttery and just melts in your mouth. I also love how its really casual and you dont have to be scared of the prices like any other Japanese restaurant. Last time I came here I ordered the teriyaki chicken and the salmon and avocado roll... And it was bomb! This time I tried the sushi combo bowl which is salmon and spicy tuna over sushi rice and I ordered a miso soup on the side which was great as well. I would definitely come here over and over again if I worked in the area.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at B & C Teriyaki, and it instantly became one of my favorite spots in town. This little gem tucked away in a cozy corner has won me over with its fantastic teriyaki bowls and nostalgic charm. From the moment you step inside, youre greeted by a welcoming atmosphere that exudes warmth and familiarity. The moment you take your first bite of their signature teriyaki bowl, youll understand why this place has a loyal following. The teriyaki bowls at B & C Teriyaki are simply outstanding. The succulent chicken (or your choice of protein) is perfectly grilled and generously coated in a mouthwatering, savory teriyaki sauce. The bowl comes packed with a generous portion of perfectly steamed rice and a medley of fresh vegetables that add a delightful crunch to every bite. The flavors meld together harmoniously, creating a truly satisfying and memorable dining experience. One thing to note is that B & C Teriyaki is a cash-only establishment, so make sure to bring some bills with you. We have lived in this apartment for 2 years while we were in Los Angeles. The manager Yasmin, Kenny, Amanda and all other wonderful service staff, they are really and professional! They are always full of hospitality and worked really fast and accurately. They are very reliable, contact me regularly even after we moved this apartment. The location is great and there are many restaurants and retail stores within walking distance. If we could live in Monrovia again, I would definitely choose this apartment! I have already recommended Paragon for 3 family of my Japanese friends!I dont think there is any other choice for Japanese people living in this area. Above all, our staff is reliable and does their job accurately. Apartments like this are rare in America. It is safe and has good security, ensuring safety. There is no need for cars to be tampered with inside the garage or indoors. The school district for public elementary schools is also very good. Compared to surrounding apartments, the apartment was more comfortable than the price difference.
Sushi NAKATA
108 E Lime Ave, Monrovia, CA 91016, United States
Newly opened Japanese restaurant. Great sushi and Japanese with very friendly waitress and owner. Small gem tucked in downtown Monrovia. My friend introduced me to this restaurant and he told me that the sushi is best he had so far in the San Gabriel Valley. I had their special roll, Nakata roll which is a combination ell and California roll. I liked it as the sushi rice is done right and the flavor is fantastic. The chef also specially made a bowl of udon noodle with tempura for me. The taste of the soup is just out of this world and tempura batter is thin and crispy yet the shrimps and vegetables are moist inside. I will be back to try other dishes
Noodle St

This was my first time eating at the restaurant. Customer service was great. No waitlist and the business seem to be steady with work. I got to try appetizers, which one of my favorite ones is fried calamari, it was tasty and delicious. The only problem I face is that it took around 30-40 minutes to complete my plate, “Stir Fry Shrimp Noodle,” which I ended up taking to go since I had to be at another place, but other meals came out fast from my table such as the fried calamari, Japanese miso soup noodle, juicy pork buns, & scallion pancakes.

The jalapeno poppers werent that spicy but the drama was on FIRE !!! My boyfriend said he felt a bad energy and soon after I found out why. Theres drama between the women staff. From what I saw tonight I feel like Joslin was looking to annoy Lola, my waitress/bartender. I saw Joslin stand right in front of the bar area where Lola was at and just stared at Lola with a big smile. Joslin seems to be asking for unneeded attention while Lola was very focused on her duties. She didnt stop once during the entire time I observed them. Joslin stood at the bar area for a total of 4 times and just looking at the television. Although the guy that seemed to be good friends with Lola, but isnt picking sides, seemed to know that Lola was in the right. I dont know Im just a customer observing what I saw. Lola definitely seemed to be a great worker. Joslin seems like an inexperienced waitress.
