The food is good. The staffs are pleasant and accommodating.I feel like it is a bit pricey compared to other japanese restaurants in the area.I like that they have gave a Turlock Roll that represents the City.They may work on the ambience of the resto to make it more pleasing to eat as the styro packs are all displayed and it does not look nice for me

Fast service. Food was okey. I have the lion king as last on my list compared to other local japanese restaurant in the area.Its okey if you want something japanese and fast serving.

First time coming here and definitely my last. Since when is hiding wasabi in the nigiri a good idea? And the fact the owner went and lectured me about telling them to ask for no wasabi because all Japanese restaurants do that is just, no. Ive been to multiple sushi restaurants AND to Japan, and none of them add the green paste of death in their dishes. Put them on the side, but never hidden under a fish. To top it all off they still charged me for the dish when I barely even poked at it. So yeah big disappointment, and watch out for the nigiri.

Experience was ok. The cost of the food was expensive compared to what it is. They are gentrified Asian cuisine that is trying to combine Japanese, Korean, Thai, American. The menu is honestly everywhere. Tbh it feels like gentrification forced authentic Asian cuisine out of town and this restaurant is trying to fill the gap. Feels like Asian food made by a Jewish man.

The parking lot is horrible. I was coming in off of Countryside to Target and the person that was on the cross strip thought that I had to stop which I clearly do not have to stop coming into the center. They did that so that traffic didnt back out onto countryside. But if I had not been driving defensively she would have hit me. And forget trying to get out of the target Famous Footwear area onto Monte Vista. I always go down and come out at one of the lights. I really would have liked to have gone over to the new Togos but I was not about to fight that crazy traffic. I know that I have not been in that shopping center for at least 3 years and now I remember why.

Absolutely terrible service to not only me but the customer behind me. its 5/31/24 and at 4:40 pm i went to get a daraman chicken and rice bowl. me and my bf both went in twice because our order was wrong and said it had extra kimchi (i didnt ask for that) and they denied it was wrong. and then at the end they say “its because we ran out of egg, thats why we put extra kimchi”. so we argued back and forth for you to tell me that it was actually because youre out of product? absolutely terrible service by 2 little girls (asian and a white girl, didnt get names) and when i asked if they put no chili like i asked, they said yes. now its 5:23pm and my 60 year old grandma tried her bowl and it was super spicy. never coming back, let me know if you hire better cashiers that can get orders right and maybe i will come back. guy behind me had the same problem. see the repitition here?

Very bad service!!!! I've been here two-three times and this last time was the worst, the girl was flirting with a customer took her sweet ass time with him, when I was going to pay she said my card was not going through she tried my card like 10 times, she laughed and asked if my account had money!! She called her “boss” who told her they were working on fixing the credit card machine and that I had to go get cash and come back, she explained this to me in a very rude way!
