Young Dong Tofu

We had tofu soup, spicy pork and chicken. The soups were pretty good, as good as other good Korean restaurants. The spicy pork was ok, not the best. The chicken was delicious. The small side dishes were very good. The salad, kimchi and the seaweed dishes were better than others. We will go back to taste other dishes. The soup was boiling hot. The waitress should have cracked the eggs and put them in the boiling soup for us, like other Korean restaurants. Next time I will ask for that.

I’m Korean and my mom is an incredible cook. I’ve never had food at any other Korean restaurant that was even close to as good as my mothers. EXCEPT this place. It’s consistently delicious, all of it, the soup, the croaker, every single banchan dish is perfect every time. The only one thing I would change about this place is I wish they would offer flavored mineral water, or unsweetened iced tea. I like to have a beverage with my meals but I don’t drink sugary sodas. Other than tho, everything else is fantastic! They give you such high quality food at such a reasonable price. Great place!
Kazu Mori
Inside H Mart, 1101 W Huntington Dr, Arcadia, CA 91007, United States
Located inside H Mart grocery store, Kazu Nori is truly a hidden gem. They serve various types of katsu and curry katsu in generous portions at a very affordable price. Kazu Nori has quickly become one of my go to food spots and I find myself going there quite frequentlyFOOD:What I Ordered: Cheese Katsu, Curry PorkCheese Katsu: Seeing pictures of the cheese katsu on the menu, I knew I had to try it. Mozzarella cheese wrapped in a thin layer of pork katsu, what more could you want This dish is made for a true cheese lover as its probably 80% mozzarella cheese, so be prepared for a cheese overload if youre planning to try this dish!Curry Pork: I was really excited to try the Curry Pork. Curry katsu is one of my favorite comfort foods and this place definitely fulfilled my cravings! I love how they package the curry on the side so that the pork stays nice and crispy! The curry is super flavorful and the pork is juicy and crispy. The perfect combination. When I received my food I had no idea how big the portions would be, especially for the curry pork. The curry pork was packed full of delicious pork katsu. Each meal comes with cabbage salad, miso soup, and rice. Talk about making your moneys worthLOCATION:This location of place is so perfect because you could go to H-Mart, place your order at Kazu Nori, do a bit of grocery shopping/ just explore the market, and come back to pick up your food once its done! If you dont feel like waiting you could also call in your order ahead of time. If youre looking for a convenient, filling, affordable, delicious meal, Id definitely recommend you check out this placeFood IG: @kristys.kravings

It’s delicious. I don’t know why I can’t eat anything from this Korean restaurant for 3 months now. Everything in other restaurants makes my stomach bloated whenever I eat it? I don’t know if other people have eaten it once and haven’t wanted to eat anything for months. experience of things

If they were running this place in Korea, they would be bankrupt and closed already. Service is okay but foods are just so-so. And they need to work harder to keep their restrooms clean. There arent many Korean restaurants in Arcadia, so I go there once in a while, but I dont like the food at all. And the bathroom is so dirty. The kitchen staff is also smoking a cigarette at the restaurant entrance.
Soonheene & Twozone Chicken

Never would I ever imagine seeing a restaurant in the SGV, excluding Rowland Heights area, to be serving authentic Korean street food. It brings back so many memories of traveling to Korea and walking to random streets and seeing numerous vendors selling the exact same dishes they serve here at Soon Hee Ga. While Ive never been or even heard of the OG location at the Korean Street Market in Seoul, friends have told me its legit good. Every dish we ordered was great and filled the two of us up. My favorite was their sweet rice drink, since I havent had that in years. There used to be a Korean restaurant in the CVS/Aldi plaza down the street back in the early 2000s that served that drink as a dessert. If Im not mistaken, they used to occupy what is now Half & Half or the Fork Over Pork shop. Since theyve closed, there hasnt been a Korean restaurant that served it as a dessert (for free too!). Soon Hee Ga does a fantastic job making this rice drink and I can literally drink it all day long during the summer months. Everything else we ordered complimented well with the spicy rice cake sauce too, unless you cant handle spicy dishes. Give this place a shot if youre local because itll save you time going to Ktown for the exact same stuff.
Fork Over Pork
1431 S Baldwin Ave, Arcadia, CA 91007, United States
My dining experience at Fork over Pork was average. Fork over Pork is a Korean restaurant and that you were the only customers on a Sunday night. While having the restaurant to ourselves may have been a unique experience, its unfortunate that the food and service were not exceptional. While we had the seafood tofu mild and the kimchi rice, both dishes were just okay and not extraordinary. The tofu was a bit bland, while the kimchi rice was mushy, which was not to our thing.Additionally, the service was not exceptional either, as there was not much interaction with us. While this may not have detracted from our dining experience, it also did not add to it. This may not be our kind of Korean restaurant.

I had no idea Lettuce Go specialized in a Chipotle style restaurant with a Korean BBQ flair. From the name alone, I always thought they only served salads. But Lettuce Go is much more than a simple salad bowl. Youre able to choose from pre-made combinations at a set price or youre able to customize your own bowls with various prices depending on what type of meat you choose to garnish your bowl with.Although their combinations looked very intriguing - Cilantrology! - I opted to make my own bowl. Basically there are four steps (similar to Chipotle or even the Poke restaurants).Step 1: Choose your base - lettuce with white rice or lettuce with brown rice. Or you can have just lettuce or just rice. Its up to you since youre the one eating it.Step 2: Choose 5 toppings from the ingredients spread out in front of you. Extra ingredients are charged at $0.50 more per ingredient. You have cucumber, corn, tomato, egg, tofu, etc.Step 3: Choose a sauce. This is a bit more tricky because the sauce definitely makes or breaks the flavor of your bowl. I feel like you can combine sauces if you want, but I stuck with just one. From cilantro lemon to herb oil, the flavors are pretty different.Step 4: Choose the protein. Theres bulgogi beef, spicy pork, grilled chicken, curry chicken, or organic tofu for those who dont eat meat. If you want to double up on protein, its an additional $1.85.So from the whole customization standpoint, you really are able to choose your own bowl your own way.I believe I opted for lettuce with white rice, cucumber, corn, cheese, tomato, carrot with the cilantro lemon sauce topped with bulgogi beef. The bowl was around $7 after tax, which isnt bad at all. I got a pretty decent amount of food, but nowhere near as much as I get from Chipotle, which can last me several meals. I thought the taste was good, and having the Korean BBQ as protein definitely gives Lettuce Go a different taste profile as compared to Chipotle. I really liked the cilantro lemon and the beef, but there wasnt anything to really rave about. It was simply a good meal. Service was pretty good. They answered questions I had - albeit in a very bored tone of voice - and were quick and efficient. However, they did put a TON of sauce onto my bowl and my friends bowls, so we were left with a ton of sauce after we had finished our salad. Seriously the meal was drenched in sauce!*I did notice that people would order to-go even though they ate at the restaurant. I feel like they pack more food in a to-go container than on a for here plate. Id recommend ordering to-go all the time.tl;dr - Id come back if I was at the mall and craving something relatively healthy. The pricing and taste of Lettuce Go is good, so no complaints there!

Upscale restaurant pricing, low quality foodThey serve completely crappy Korean food. You should be ashamed. Is it okay to say something so stupid just because youre not dealing with Koreans?

The chicken is very good, the seasoning is rich and delicious, I think it is a great Korean fried chicken, the only shortcoming is the service, I chose the wrong flavor when I ordered, only 30 seconds have passed, I think it is enough to rewrite the remarks, but the front desk did not do so, he told me that it was already cooking, but I still waited for 20 minutes to get the food. Im pretty sure its a deception, I mean he could have just told me I couldnt change it, which is fine, but he chose to cheat, and the chef probably didnt even get the order number. In addition, I really came at 1 PM, this is the peak of the population, but the kitchen one after another people came out to answer the phone, Im sorry but I dont think this is an accidental phenomenon, itself is very busy time, the kitchen unexpectedly came out two people to answer the phone (not the front desk ordering phone, they are holding their mobile phones outside the store). Maybe the store was a little lax?
