Didnt expect to be good and fresh. Always wanted to know if this is another good Korean restaurant like Buela and Gamtubop in Glendale while waiting for this store to be opened again.Overall, the food was fresh and tasted good. I ordered banban hot dog and Korean fermented soybean stew. Will reorder to try other menus! Its been closed for a while so every time I stopped by in person, wasnt open to the public. Hope this management keeps the business hours this time!

Gen Korean BBQ House

The restaurant is nice and has a good vibe. The servers were friendly but the hostesses were slightly rude. This is not genuine Korean bbq. The Japchae was awful. I would consider this restaurant more like Korean “fusion”. The menu has a lot of interesting items. I was disappointed that this was not a good Korean restaurant. Do not come here with expectations of Korean flavors and quality Korean style food. But trying different things that you wouldn’t normally get at a KBBQ place was interesting.

LongStory Short: Order ToGo on an app to live in ignorance to what goes on between ordering and eating.Im sure the food itself tastes fine... maybe, ive had food from this chain before at other locations, but not this location because we walked out. When you enter a restaurant, the least youd expect is for someone to acknowledge you, or attempt to finish up what theyre doing. Neither happened as we stood around awkwardly to where we had to tell them wed seat ourselves. After that, we were told to wait to place our order, fair enough, but they just went and forgot we existed. It wasnt busy, only 1 other party and 1 person waiting on a takeout order. Yet 3 people were behind the counter and no one to take orders or man the register for the 1 party sitting and now 2 people whove come in the 20 minutes we were there. If it was a full house my patience would excuse this, but this was at regular dinner hours and not even 15% capacity. We had to ask them if they planned on taking our order, and only then did someone scramble to find a pen and just took a business card to take our order... not a notepad, not a tablet, a business card they just took from the front table. We just got up and left. Never coming back.

This is a real trendy Korean restaurant in Glendale frequented by young people who make up a good part of the area. The meals tend to be pricey but they are very good and I would recommend the Korean steak as one of the best. Primarily they serve bowls and not a cook as you go Korean restaurant. Pay parking is in the rear and limited to about 40 cars but right next door is a major parking structure.

I came to Glendale on vacation from Korea. I didnt want to waste time on a round trip to Koreatown, so I looked for a Korean restaurant nearby and found it. As many reviews say, the food tastes really good. I ordered ribs, soft tofu, tteokbokki, and bibimbap. Side dishes such as cucumbers, seasoned oden, green onion pancakes, and seasoned bean sprouts are presented neatly. One of my family members praised it, saying it was the most delicious ribs he had ever eaten in his life. However, compared to the excellent food, the male owners response was very disappointing. The space between the seats is too narrow to allow two adults to sit. You are asked to order food at the counter and bring your own water. I understand up to that point. While we were eating, the owner started pulling up all the blinds on the windows. eating foodHe didnt hesitate to do something that would create dust while he was doing it, and he did it without consent. When I went to the counter to pay, the owner asked me if I was from Korea (I think I heard this from the waitress who was serving me). The owner didnt even say hello until I paid. (In fact, he didnt even greet me when I entered). He said that there is a tipping culture in the U.S. and asked the student before even giving me change. He spoke as if he was teaching. I ordered, paid, and paid the bill myself, and he mentioned Americas tipping culture. I visited around 4pm and left a 20% tip. Reward yourself with delicious food, not in return for your services. This time I came from Korea on vacation, but over the past few years I have been to the United States on business and travel, and have been to many Korean restaurants and restaurants, but this is the first time I have felt so strange after eating so deliciously. This is my first time posting Google reviews in the US.Food is 5 stars. However, the service of the owner, who cleans while people are eating, confidently asks for a tip despite ordering, self-serving water, adding side dishes, and self-paying the bill, is 1 star. It would be better to have an employee working at the counter.

THE K - STREET

A hidden gem Korean restaurant in Glendale!! We had an awesome time here. No need to drive all the way to Ktown anymore. My husband and I are so glad we found this place near Glendale Galleria. We ordered Bossam (came with soybean paste stew/Doenjang-jjiage) and Sul Lung Tang. The pork shoulder slices of Bossam are so flavorful and tender, along with the soybean paste, garlic slices, Napa cabbage and spicy Korean pickles, and wrap them together. Only one word can describe it: Delicious.See pictures and referring to the other review for the portion size, we couldn’t finish everything. The friendly server here even offered us some extra Napa cabbage for takeout :)Definitely will visit again to try other items on the menu!*There is a 90-minute free parking lot just next to it and also plenty of street parking.

Mitzee Cafe

This is the best hole in the wall restaurant for teriyaki food in Glendale!!! Been coming here for roughly 15 years and will continue to go till their last day. I always get the shrimp chowmein but the chicken and beef is really good too! Their teriyaki sauce is home made and sooo good! What I like about this place is that food is made to order. Its not like Panda Express that sometimes has food sitting for a while. I mean its not bad once in a blue moon but mitzees is way better especially on the rainy days lol. If your thinking about going but unsure, dont hesitate, pull the trigger. And when you go, make sure to leave a review. Allot of us now a days go by reviews. When you go, make sure you ask questions just to be sure your not allergic to anything or whatever.Small plate is $8 and change and large I think $10. Almost everyone, I get the $8 because its good portions and pretty filling. Also, it might not look like they have a bathroom but they do. Its all the way to the back and thru the door, youll see it.Stop by, you wont regret it, I promise!

Great KBBQ, but if you like sushi, expect to wait a significant amount of time between dishes, Meats come quickly, but they seem to take their time bringing out the sushi. They initially bring out six pieces, but then when you order again at takes about 15-20 minutes between orders and they only bring 3 pieces for the subsequent dishes. We had 8 guests at the table and only received 2 or 3 sushi dishes the whole time. This is all you can eat with sushi on the menu and it should be treated the same way, otherwise dont put it on the menu.
