I give it a 5/5 because they have great food and I came out of it with a fun story. To give a little context the employee was (wo)manning the front and she had a line of customers as well as a nice elderly lady sitting down. This elderly lady was definitely hard of hearing because as the employee was taking an order for a customer, the elderly lady yells out this table is dirty! Now it was to the employees surprise that the lady yelled this out and she looks over at me and I am looking at her, and we make eye contact and try not to laugh. I look over at the elderly ladys table and there is one small crumb of delicious forgotten beef. What made this even better was the elderly lady choose to sit at that table out of all ten or fifteen tables available to sit at. I was the only other person sitting down. And that is why this flame broiler gets a 5/5. Also the meal was like 9 bucks for a bowl. So just an FYI its kinda pricey for some beef, rice, and veggies.

Expensive for what it is and flavor was not there. Tried it once havent gone back. Hopefully they will reopen with refreshed menu.

Since Comfort Food restaurants are a dying breed, I always try to stop at one to do my part!So I go in and sit at the bar and pretty quick the female barkeep is there.Oh, and no employees have nor wear any name tags!Anyway, I ask for the most popular dish and the gal rattles off about four!And I say, Whats the most popular!?She says the fried chicken, so I take it and she walks away!No choice of rice or potato or Mac and cheese and no choice of veggies, nor did she tell me if I get a salad!Which I always expect at a comfort food delegation.But hey, I asked for the most popular, and I guess thats what shes gonna give me!But get this --- in probably less than five (5) minutes, another name tag-less employee brings me my meal!This cant be good!And lo and behold, it was THE WORST Chicken Dinner in my life! ?The only good thing was the Country Gravy!The chicken display looked like fish fillets --- no bones in my ? dinner tonight! ?No dinner rolls either!After asking Jen, her name, I also asked if some kind of bread came with the selection?No you got country gravy, she said! But if you want toast or a biscuit I can get you one but it doesnt come with it!I passed!The chic fillets were big and counted five in number . . . Wow!But they had absolutely NO FLAVOR!I ate one and a half and that is when I ran out of the gravy that gave it a smush of taste! But I didnt want more because nothing was piping hot!I guess they serve a lumpy style of mashed potatoes and that would be a good thing if they had some buttery flavor and/or some seasoning . . . they were derelict in both!YUK!For the taste of the veggies: see below ??:But as I looked around, the place was packed, so what was up!?The lady sitting next to me asked Jen for a to-go box!My fellow bar patron said, Just a small one because I am only taking the steak!What was left on her plate when she left?The mashed potatoes and the fajita-style aray of veggies!But she did say, Ill see you next time!Maybe I shoulda had the steak!The menu was newspaper-style and mine was wet!Yikes!But the TVs and the ambiance was poppin but the meal I attempted to eat had me stoppin!I may go back to give them another chance . . . but it looks like they are doing fine without me --- which is quite bafflingly, I must say! ?

We stopped by because of the food reviews and it didnt disappoint. At first it was a bit rough. We got seated quickly and the same man that pointed us to the table stopped by a minute later asking about drink order and we had a question about an item on the menu. He quickly replied he was not the one to answer those questions that our waitress would. She took a few minutes to show up. I did get a coffee and after I had started drinking my wife pointed to a piece of dried food stuck in the handle. I tried to wipe it, but it was pretty caked in, so I let it be and grabbed from the other side. But then the waitress got to us and was friendly and the food portions were huge for a very good price. And the most important thing, it tasted great. All in all we could have had a better start, but the things that happened to us could be one off situations, but if the food is not good or the attention of the waitress is not right, that is hard to fix so I am giving it 5 starts. I would certainly recommend.
