Korean B.B.Q
14950 Bear Valley Rd, Victorville, CA 92395, United States
Food was very good. Would like to return. The service, however was very poor. Perhaps a language barrier because the lady got part of our order wrong. She also assumed we didnt know we were in a Korean restaurant because she felt it necessary to tell us that the food was different from Chinese. She also assumed we wouldnt like certain dishes we wanted to order. We have eaten Korean meals before, so We ordered EXACTLY what we wanted! Sad to say, but unfortunately our party of four felt that we experienced some racism. We wont dine in again, but the food was good so we will do take out in the future.

Seoul Garden Korean B.B.Q

Went in today to sit down and eat. After 15-20mins of waiting I was confronted by Emily who stated that I could not be served because I was by myself. I’ve eaten at Korean restaurants for years and have never experienced such thing. I wouldn’t patronize this business if my entire family was with me.

Flame Broiler

Not much of an atmosphere, small, clean restaurant in Victorville. Gives you more of a to go orders vibe. Aidan took my order, very personable, went over the menu and various options in depth after I told him it was my first time. Food was good, pretty pricey. I used a BOGO coupon, but plates are about $16 on the average. Includes chicken or beef, white rice, veggies and salad. The sauces are great and they sell them in the bottle as well as offer self-serve options to your desire. Also tried the new chicken wings promo. Again, flavor of the sauce was good but wouldnt necessarily go here for wings.Might try again, but would only order the plate with chicken.

Well Being Tofu House
15024 Bear Valley Rd, Victorville, CA 92395, United States
Although it is located in the United States, it can be considered Korean-style service. There is no hall serving staff, but the owner and the person who works in the kitchen also serve the hall. Therefore, when you go in, you can just sit in an empty seat and go out to pay. They usually order soft tofu, and if you order something they dont often find, such as soybean paste stew, they reject it because it will take a long time. The service is poor compared to cheaper American restaurants, but considering that there are very few places to eat Korean food in the northern LA area, its acceptable. If you think of it as just a Korean restaurant, you become more generous. But the prices are American?

Apollo Restaurant

I have been titillated for far too long by Apollo Restaurant's Instagram posts and how they grind their own burger meat to create culinary masterpieces (with clever names to match) so my expectations were exceptionally high. Today we were celebrating my birthday and the wife decided to take me out to taste these renowned high desert burgers. Needless to say, my high expectations were shattered. The establishment itself is small in size but it delivers big in the flavor department. When my wife and I arrived we were greeted warmly by the two fellas running the front of the house. From then on I knew this was going to be a great experience. My better half ordered the Baby Boy Roy with a side of Lil Kim fries and I ordered a Boss Hog with a regular order of chili cheese fries. My Boss Hog was arguably one of the best burgers I've ever had. It was cooked to a perfect medium well doneness and piled as high as physics and gravity would allow. My wife's sliders were tangy and delicious, but her favorite part of the meal was the Lil Kim fries which surprisingly enough looked better than they did in the picture on the website. Most fast food joints throw ingredients together and serve you a sloppy version of what's marketed. Not here. The hard work and talent in the kitchen is notable when your order arrives at your table crafted beautifully and tasty as ever. My wife and I drove up from Fontana to finally satiate our itch for these amazing burgers and now it seems we'll have to come back because nothing else equals this kind of quality and flavor. The excellent customer service and welcoming environment were the cherry on top. We will definitely be back again.

Tokyo Sushi
14741 7th St, Victorville, CA 92392, United States
Had a great dining experience at Tokyo Sushi last night. The place was at about capacity when we arrived but only waited a few minutes to be seated. The wait staff was very courteous and attentive and had our drinks and appetizers out quickly. We had the heart attack (jalapeno poppers with spicy tuna), mixed tempura (shrimp and veggie) and miso soup, all absolutely delicious. We ordered the Fire Ring, Baja Roll, Route 66 Roll, and Spicy Korean Pork. The first thing I noticed was the small amount of rice each roll had vs ingredients, a very pleasant surprise. This allowed the flavors of the rolls to stand out along with the delicious sauces each roll had. The Spicy Korean Pork stole the show. It was an item my son ordered as he is new to sushi restaurants and was playing it safe. The pork was melt in your mouth soft and seasoned with enough heat to justify the name. Overall it was a great dinner and definitely worth several return trips to work through their menu. Thank you Tokyo Sushi for a great night.

Samurai Sushi
14464 7th St, Victorville, CA 92395, United States
Had date night with my wife a few nights ago after finishing a Costco run and headed over. We ordered a few rolls, Yellow Tail belly sushi, Garlic Edamame, and they threw in some tempura shishito peppers with a cucumber salad compliments of the chef. The yellow tail belly was delicious, nice thick slices of fatty yellow tail. We ordered the Garlic Albacore, Sexy Night and Spicy Tataki Rolls. The garlic albacore roll was a little dry, but it is one of their low price rolls, so nothing fancy about it, and still flavorful. The spicy tataki roll was my favorite, loaded with fish and tons of flavor. Sweet, spicy, tangy. My wife preferred the Sexy Night with the spicy tuna and little bit of crunch from the tempura flakes. We sat at the sushi bar which is always fun especially hearing the chefs friendly banter and joke with each other. You can tell they enjoy making sushi and it shows in the quality of sushi they serve.

Grill & Roll
14515 Mojave Dr, Victorville, CA 92394, United States
BE AWARE!!!!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!!The worst place here in Victorville!!!! Awful. Service from start to finish was terrible. The food was not very good quality and was overpriced. I order two shrimp plates and drinks. On one of the plate meal there was hair on the rice. I brought it up to the OWNER attention who didnt even offer an apology and instead said very rude no refunds or exchange for another plate. Started screaming in her language. Couldnt understand what she was saying.I didnt want the money back. An apology would have been sufficient instead of the gruff and rude response I received as if it was my fault noticing the hair on my plate. This place is very overpriced. Food is not even good. More than 50 dollars for two plates and drinks and the owner did not display any respect. Will never return! It was overall a very bad experience. If you ask me, ZERO stars!!!
