They don't take phone orders that is just ridiculous!!!So when I came into to order my food the one man working the counter was on the phone I guess confirming an Uber online order and had to continue to wait for at least 5 mins before he can take my order. I asked if someone else can help me pointing to the back kitchen area and he said no they don't speak English I am the only one. Thankfully my food didn't take super long to make.But last time I was there it did! They seem to be way understaffed!! And the only man working there was not friendly at all!Think it's just ridiculous they can't take over the phone orders….! And when I called to place an order over the phone the man was very rude about and just hung up saying bye and that was it!!Also not to mention the prices are way too too expensive for what u get…I ordered the Japchae and there was barely any meat in it, w tons of onions and bell peppers. My husband looked at my dish and said did they even give u any meat in it…!!!They are just way overpriced for the amount of food u get or quality really!I think this will prob be my last time eating there even though I did love the Japchae the clear noodles where my fav but with everything else I think I am going to have to pass on this place now!

I was so excited to see this place finally open! I dropped by this spot on their 1st day of opening. Sadly, I was a bit too late because everything was pretty much gone. So, I ended up coming back in the morning today.The owner and employees are all so nice. The drive through line is all ways crazy line which isnt a huge deal other than the fact that it is dangerous. The line spills out all the way into the main road at times and is always long enough to create blocking issues on multiple of the turn in streets to get to the whole shopping center. I feel this isnt fair for those trying to get through not going to in and out or those waiting in the in and out line waiting as cars constantly pass them by inches from their cars or driving on incoming traffic lanes to get around. Very unsafe. However the food is amazing as always and the line goes quicker then youd think. Would give 5 stars if they addressed the safety issue.UPDATE: I am thrilled how the changes in their traffic flow has changed the overall environment of going through that intersection. Significantly safer and just about the best they could do without real construction changes to the parking lot. I would prefer this to happen as its current fix could have potential issues down the line, but till then. Great job addressing a very serious issue! Changing to 5 stars!

This location use to house a nasty chinese place and I was hoping I would like this place better, but sadly, I did not.We finally got over there to try it today, July 24th, 2023, and it was just okay. It will not be a go to place, it will be a one and done. We ordered online, pickup was easy. I dont know why but they dont give any sauces to go except what came with our potstickers. Speaking of which, I saved those to heat up tomorrow when I have time to pan fry them longer they are nowhere near pan fried enough, very doughy, not like they should be. Sauce that came with them I didnt try because its overpowering with the smell of vinegar.Kahlua pork first impression was, I will not eat those meat chunks. One thing I cannot stand are chunks of meat served to me and thats how they serve theirs. Its not shredded like normal, its just big gross chunks. I ate one very small bite just so I could review it, and it wasnt good at all. It tastes like it was soaked in water, zero flavor except for the taste of old water. I do not recommend this dish.We also had the combo of teriyaki chicken, steak and short ribs. I tried them all and even though I usually love these dishes, I didnt like a single one of them here. They each have an odd flavor that I cant place, they are just a little bit off, like something thats going sour, its weird. Could be their sauce, I dont know but none of the meats were good. I dont recommend them either. I even tried using the teriyaki sauce from our fave place and it didnt help at all, still has a weird going bad taste to it. They did not send any teriyaki sauce home with us which I thought was odd, maybe you have to ask for it but we ordered three meats teriyaki, you would think they would include extra sauce. Hubby liked their macaroni salad.We wont be back. July, 2023.

I was thrilled to discover a new Japanese restaurant in Brentwood. However, after ordering the Katsu chicken and vegetable tempura, we may not be returning.The place was packed full on a Friday evening. We had to wait about 20 minutes to get a table. No biggie.They have a counter along one wall, but it was loosely hanging on and tilted. Definitely not a stable place to eat. They need to get rid of that thing. It looks bad. Also, they have what looks like a beautiful water fountain behind the check-in counter. But, this was bone dry, dirty, and just an eyesore to look at wh2n you first walk in.The chicken katsu was a horrible piece of chicken. Definitely not a nice clean piece of white meat breast. 50% of the piece was full of fat and gristle, and the other 50% was flavorless cheap dark meat. This was a huge disappointment. I have had awesome chicken katsu breasts in the past, but this place does not care to give their customers a nice choice piece of meat.We might give this place one more try, to see if this was just an unfortunate anomaly. Not sure. That chicken was really gross.Have a little more pride in the food you serve and give your customers a better piece of meat.
