Im visiting from outside the area, so Im trying places I dont have back home. This place was good, but not great. Id eat here again, but Ive had better. The food was fresh, and the staff was friendly. I had The Raging Bull and a House Salad. The atmosphere and design are excellent, and the restaurant is clean. Not crowded, but had a steady flow of customers while I was here. I didnt try the soups, maybe on a future visit.

Panera Bread

The reliability of good food and complete orders has completely gone done. I order delivery at least once a week. Orders keep arriving with small missing items. Chicken noodle soup arrived with no noodles and no chicken, just the broth. Tonight I got the wrong soup completely. The location doesnt answer their phone so I had to drive there which is not the reason I pay $10 for delivery. The manager couldnt give me my money back because he didnt even know that they have delivery! I said nevermind and went home with the actual soup i ordered. I got home and my Thai chicken soup had no chicken or vegetables. How does a restaurant give people soup with nothing in it. Well I am no longer ordering from this location.

Omg these guys are amazing! They catered a company barbecue for us and it was wonderful. The chicken and the ribs and the sausage were so delicious. The Gouda mac and cheese was to die for and Roddy is a really great guy and his staff was wonderful. I really liked how the truck played music and you can watch TV and videos on it at the same time. It was just amazing. I highly recommend these guys for any function you may have for your company or just for a family reunion. I cannot say enough great things about them and at the end of everything we gave them each banana splits because it was so hot and they worked so hard and they totally deserved it. Thank you again Roddy for all of the wonderful food and service. We really appreciate it here at Micross. Keep up the good work my friend. A fan for life.Michelle Tisor

I will definitely need to go back because I forgot to take pictures of the delicious food we had. It was our first time and we were a bit skeptical about how authentic and tasty the food might be - to say we were pleasantly surprised is an understatement! The chicken and beef skewers were packed with flavor (we ended up ordering more mid meal). We also ordered the chicken Cha Kroeng which paired beautifully with just jasmine rice. The price point is perfect for an evening out if you're not keen on burning a hole in your pocket. The only thing that I couldn't make sense of is why this restaurant wasn't packed out and why there weren't lines around the block of people waiting to get in - either this place is a hidden gem or people prefer to order take out (not that I'm complaining, as it meant we were seated and served very quickly)Can't wait to go back and try out the other dishes on the menu.

Local Kitchens
1640 S Bascom Ave, Campbell, CA 95008, United States
Out of sheer curiosity decided to stop and try local kitchens....after staring at 634 complicated menu choices (dry humor but Im guessing there were well over 200 menu items), its no In N Out with a simple menu, finally decided to try the patty melt and an order of fries that had slaw and chicken chunks. My client had bbq burger and at our request, they substituted the normal hamburger bun with the same sliced french bread they make the patty melt with. For 2 sandwiches and frys our total was $42. They added an automatic 5% SERVICE CHARGE which we had no choice but pay and then asked how much of a tip we wanted to include....$50+ for 2 small sandwiches and fancy fries with NO drinks? There was no soda fountain, no complimentary water to be seen and their prepackaged drink choices seemed awkward. Ok, better be good right? The reality is, it was just ok, Carls JR has better burgers as does InNout, for less we could have driven a few blocks south to Andys saved money, had more food, better food and a better environment. Its a little strange sitting in a white lable, non descript restaurant and then served with to-go containers we had to go back to the counter to pick-up, which we then opend up at our table and ate. Its kinda fast food at a premium price? Their staff were friendly and tried (within their means) to do a good job with the limitations of the facility and menu.Still a little baffled who their market is and what they are. I could understand a ghost kitchen if they did delivery only but yikes, $42 plus tip, plus delivery, your probalby close to $65 for 2 burgers and fancy fries, worth it? Food was just soso, def not comfort food, high grease content, I wasnt impressed and wont be going back. Dont get me wrong, the food wasnt bad, it just wasnt good or appealing and there was nothing unique about the food, especially at that price level in an awkward dining environment eating out of styrofoam to go containers that we ordered at a counter and then had to pick up. Its 9:06pm as I write this and my stomach is still growling trying to digest our lunch which we at at around 1:45. Almost forgot, concrete floors and hard walls with blaring music created an environment that didnt feel welcoming. It was cold, informal, we had to service ourselves (order & pick up) and we couldnt talk over the music system, yes it was that loud. Unless somebody twists my arm i.e. significant other or my daughter, Im not going back based on my experience.

One Fish Raw Bar
193 E Campbell Ave, Campbell, CA 95008, United States
Horrible service (literally KICKED OUT) and mediocre food...Service: Our reservation was at 6:30 and were seated at 6:20 because the table was ready for us. We got a bottle of champagne and told the waitress that we plan to stay all night to catch up and asked when they close (we didnt want to delay closing). She said we could stay as long as we wanted. Fast forward to 8PM, they approached us and said theres a 2 hour dining limit (surprise!) and we needed to leave before 8:20 (note our reservation was 6:30 and they offered to seat us early). They need our table for a large party. Side note, were fine and respect dining durations. No one is walking around looking for confrontation... HOWEVER, this was not mentioned on the reservation confirmation e-mail nor at the beginning of our dinner. We (two light weights) drank a whole bottle of champagne (large format) and was asked to leave during night time while not ready to drive. We dont live nearby nor are we familiar with the surrounding area. Thankfully we found a nearby restaurant where we had dessert and sobered up before driving home.Food: To give context both my friend and I work in tech and our bucket list is the new and fancies in the bay. We can proudly say we have crossed off half of the Michelins in the bay. Now to the food. Its a small menu so we ordered half of all the dishes they offered. The caviar dip had too much cream cheese vs. caviar. At $50, we werent expecting the mother load, but with the first scoop the limited amount of caviar was mixed with overwhelming amount of cream cheese. Not to mention it was just Lays chips. The oysters were swimming in oyster wash, while fresh, it lost the oyster taste. The white fish was grilled to perfection (on par with the price), but lack seasoning. The lobster bisque soup had a lot of flavor but what I assume were lobster chunks had a weird sweet taste to it (not seafood sweetness more like candy sweetness yikes). The best dish of the light was actually the carrots. We didnt try any desserts because we were kicked out, so yeah. With so many better restaurants in the bay, youre better off skipping this one.

My second visit this restaurant and I can say that it is one of the best Italian restaurants in the bay. The food is seasoned correctly, and the seafood is fresh. Their lentil soup with pork belly added is simply delicious without many frills. I would say their cocktail is always so wonderfully made, and substituting it with top-shelf alcohol elevates the experience even more. It is perfect for a romantic evening or a night out by yourself the place is always very inviting.

Naschmarkt Restaurant in Campbell, California, is a culinary treasure that brings the flavors of Austria and Europe to the heart of the Bay Area. This charming eatery provides a warm, inviting atmosphere and exceptional service, making it a delightful spot for any dining occasion.During our visit, we enjoyed a variety of dishes that showcased the restaurant’s expertise in European cuisine. The Mushroom Soup was rich and velvety, with deep, earthy flavors that were both comforting and indulgent. It was a perfect starter, warming us up and setting the stage for the rest of our meal. The Goat Cheese Purse Salad was a fresh and flavorful start to our meal. The warm goat cheese, wrapped in delicate pastry, complemented the crisp greens and light vinaigrette beautifully, offering a harmonious blend of creamy, tangy, and crunchy elements. The Pretzel, served warm with a delicious cheese sauce, was a delightful addition. The pretzel was soft and perfectly salted, and the creamy cheese sauce provided a wonderful savory dip that made this simple appetizer feel special. The Jäger Schnitzel was another highlight. This dish featured a perfectly breaded pork cutlet topped with a savory mushroom sauce that was rich and earthy. The schnitzel was cooked to golden perfection, with a crisp exterior and tender interior, making every bite a pleasure. The Spätzle paired with Beef Goulash was a standout. The beef, cooked to tender perfection, was immersed in a rich and flavorful goulash sauce that was both hearty and comforting. The spätzle, soft and perfectly textured, served as an excellent accompaniment, soaking up the delicious sauce and adding a delightful chewiness to the dish. For dessert, the Salzburger Nockrl was exceptional. Served warm with and fluffy vanilla souffle with blueberry compote. It was a perfect end to our meal. The accompanying vanilla ice cream added a creamy contrast, enhancing the overall experience and leaving us thoroughly satisfied. In summary, Naschmarkt Restaurant offers an outstanding dining experience with its exquisite Austrian and European dishes, cozy ambiance, and excellent service. Each dish is crafted with care and attention to detail, ensuring a memorable meal. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a taste of Europe in the Bay Area!

Royal Kebabs and Gyros
1712 W Campbell Ave, Campbell, CA 95008, United States
Finished my workout at the gym next door, thought ahead to my next meal and realized it required a trip to the store. I'm hungry so I decide to give this place a try. Teenage host is great, very welcoming. We have a great exchange, I'm feeling good about my decision to eat here. I order the combo gyro wrap to go, he says to give them 5mins. The young man was great.Go back in, it's been 5. Cook says it's pretty much done. He wraps up my order and tosses it on pick-up counter, places yogurt sauce beside it. I'm heading home so I require no fuss: no cutlery, plastic bag, etc. and grab my sandwich. I notice the kind host that took my order on a table eating, it must be his lunch. Sandwich in-hand, I walk out. Then cacophony behind me, I'm being asked to stop. Alarmed, I turn around. They're (2 cooks behind the counter and a service lady, now a half-step behind me) speaking their native tongue so I don't understand. They're all looking at the young man that took my order, he's looking horrified and answering their questions irritatedly. He smiles at me and assures me there's no problem, the others still a touch hostile. Not too difficult to decode that one, they wanted to be sure I'd paid for my food. Classic micro-aggression, another paper cut from life.Get home, the worst sandwich ever. Textures are great but there's literally no taste to the food. It's bland. It's tasteless. It's not seasoned at all. 3 bites of a half and the rest is in the garbage. Went to the store in the end. Never looking at this place ever again, let alone walking in.

Best Taste Chinese and Sushi Restaurant
2360 S Bascom Ave, Campbell, CA 95008, United States
People who ran the restaurant were very friendly, but I did not care for the food. Its the first time I can ever recall getting lukewarm to cold hot tea. The wor won ton soup was dark like it had a lot of soy sauce based sauce poured in it. There were three very thin slices of BBQ pork that tasted really old and had no other flavor. It had 2 jumbo shrimp and 3 small lumps if something (mushy chicken maybe?). Thats it for protein! No bok choy (there were only a few pieces of Napa type cabbage) no pea pods, just 3 zigzags of carrot and some green onion. Inside the won tons, the filling very dark (more mystery meat). There was also an aftertaste, the kind you get when a restaurant uses a lot of msg. I ordered a combo fried rice to go and it doesnt smell right Im not sure it will be edible.. There wasnt one single piece of protein showing in the rice and I suspect there will be precious few beef, chicken, pork, or shrimp pieces within the rice if I take a chance and eat it later. Not too good for $15 rice. Even mediocre restaurants are capable of making delicious fried rice (Panda Express even makes fried rice with a better aroma).
