Im sorry, but I have no idea why this place was rated 4.9 stars on Google. We came on a Wednesday night for the first time with a party of 4, including 2 kids at about 7 p.m.We went up to order our ramen dishes and a pork fried rice dish, but we were told not to order the fried rice because it would take much longer than the ramen, so we did not get to buy it even though we wanted it. They said that because there was no indoor seating available, it was takeout only, and it would be about 15 min to be ready. Fine, we dont live far, so it was no big deal. We ended up waiting 60 minutes for our food with exceedingly cranky and hungry kids. And while we were waiting for our food, 7 parties came, ordered their food, got their food, and had left!Prepare to end up waiting a very long time for your food with no apologies and a very upsetting experience.

My all time favorite food is Thai food. Im Thai; my mom is the best cook I know; I stayed near home for all my decades of schooling solely so I cant eat home cooked meals - good food is THAT important to me. This Thai place is SUCH A WINNER. Its cooked on real woks and seriously tastes like Im back in Bangkok. The pork is a must try in all the dishes - char grilled and cooked to perfection. My husband ordered chicken with his pad thai and dont even think about the chicken being stringy or thin - this chicken is the most juicy and tender. Ive tried almost everything on their menu at this point and each one Im like THIS is the best one. Thank you, Kra-Pow Thai Eatery for sharing your amazing food with the world! 10/10 would recommend. Also ask for the thai chili powder and their hot sauce on the side. EVEN THAT is on point.

Cattle Ranch Cafe

Not coming back anymore. Visit 1: weekday brunch. 2 people had to ask if our order had been taken before the 3rd person finally took our order. There were 3 staff on the floor. We got our food after another table did, even though we had ordered before them. We had to ask twice for the toast that was part of the meal. Then we were overcharged: $4 upcharge to have a few berries on the French toast (listed as $2 on menu) and $4.50 for hot tea (listed as $4)—it was hot water with an unopened tea bag. When we told the manager about the price difference, he said, “Come back and I give you 20% off next time.”Visit 2: Sunday brunch. Manager said he remembered us (after we asked if he did) and said he would give us 10% off (not the 20% he promised last time.) Server was much nicer. Latte art was only a simple heart even though the tv screens showed much more complex creations. We were overcharged again: $4 upcharge again for the berries on the French toast (still listed as $2) and $5 for the latte (listed as $4.50). We told the manager again and he looked mad about it. He said, “I give you $5 off” which was already the 10% he promised when we arrived, but the actual charges weren't changed. He explained later that prices were changed because minimum wage was changed, but he didn't know which prices. We told him exactly which prices were off, on two occasions now. And why wouldn't he know?Food was ok. Omelette was hearty but a bit oily and eggs overcooked. Chilaquiles were not as flavorful as expected; looked like meat and eggs put on top of a plate of chips with salsa. House potatoes were the only consistent item.Beware of invisible pricing. If you're eating here, you're probably not going to mind the prices anyway (especially if you're willing to pay the $20 for chilaquiles), but it'd be better practice for a restaurant to be transparent about their prices up front.

The good: fresh-sqeezed orange juice! The bad: ssslowww service! While service is kinda friendly, I cannot confim the quality of the meals being served here because of slow service ?. In the time it took a busy car wash service to clean our Dodge SUV (about 50 minutes), my wife & I waited 20 minutes to be seated, received drinks 7 - 10 minutes after, then spent the rest of the time (about 20 minutes) waiting for our waiter to come by and take our order. How does a car wash service hustle better than this small restaurant? So, I look outside the restaurant to compare the type of people employed at the car wash: mostly latin people (30, 40 year olds). The restaurant has a young crew! Is this really an issue of inexperience and/or lack of motivation? Or, perhaps an issue of leadership or the lack thereof? Not sure. It could be either one or both.Lastly: atmosphere. I dont believe quaint really describes this place. One reviewer described it as such, but I do not understand why. Eating areas are a bit small due to the compact nature of the building. The tarp that covers the patio area looks very old and worn.

One of our favorite restaurants. My husband loves the pork chops and I love the Bass Fish. The salad, soup, bread, potatoes are so plentiful, I doubt youll finish everything. Delicious, warm atmosphere, great service. We go at least monthly to this restaurant even though its 25-30 minutes away.

Stater Bros. Markets

I spend a lot of money at this store, as we all do, and I am getting pretty tired of moldy potatoes, overripe avocadoes and grapes not being pulled from the shelves when each bag has been picked through. Im tired of the poor meat cutting and the amount of fat I get charged for when I buy a high dollar steak.Im tired of asking the baggers over and over again to stop stuffing my bags until theyre 15-20lbs. One kid put 4 half gallons of milk and coffee milk in one bag! Im 71 years old with arthritis, I cant carry them to my car let alone into my house. Its not like he cant see Im an older person.I do not want to trek any further away to another Stater Bros, only to encounter the same thing. I will say though, I notice no matter what business you patronize in the IE, you get indifference, incompetence and poor customer service form younger employees. Theyd better wake up and connect the dots of what I BUY to their paycheck. I can see why these kids bounce around from job to job because they cant keep them, but theres no excuse for managers to continue to ignore this trend. They fire one and hire another just as bad. The future IS DOOMED.

The Flinderstreet Cafe

This is a very nice place. Its clean; has a contemporary, trendiness to it; and the food is very good. We had the Philly Cheese steak sandwich and the quality of the food was excellent! The bread is homemade, soft and delicious, almost a biscuity texture to it--a nice change from the normal, tough bread most subs are made with. The meat was very tender, not fatty in the least, and there was plenty of cheese. The sandwich was large enough for my husband and I to split... I would say 6-8 long, and it comes with a salad or chips. The salad wasnt the typical iceberg bagged salad that some restaurants use either. It had a nice variety of greens to it. And they brought us complimentary baby chocolate chip cookies. We had purchased a brownie for dessert, so the friends we were with had the cookies. The brownie was on the cakey side, so not really my taste, as I like them more of the fudge consistency like box mixes are. But it was large and had lots of chocolate. They have bottles of Mexican Coke - the way Coke was originally made with real sugar instead of corn syrup - so this real thing Coke lover was happy about that! The service was good, they have a decent variety of items from which to choose, even italian dinner-type meals if you dont want a sandwich. All in all, a great little surprise! Well be back, no doubt, and well be telling our church about it!

Stater Bros. Markets

This store is only 1/4 mile from my house, but I often drive 5 miles to the nearest Ralphs for a better selection. Some of the problems are due to the small size of the store, which means they dont carry much variety, and high-end goods are usually not available. The employees are friendly and helpful, but until recently, there were always 2 or 3 people in front of you in line at the checkout. They have recently hired additional staff, so lines are shorter. There is no self-checkout. Some items are misplaced: Kayro corn syrup is located in the breakfast foods area, and not in the baking supplies where it belongs. It does have a superior meat counter: they actually appear to cut meat on site, which Ralphs does not. Shelf labels are often not consistent and confusing: red bell peppers are sold in two varieties, with one being $1.00 a pound more, with no explanation for the difference (and sometimes mislabeled). They have recently improved their produce selection, and now carry a decent variety of organic produce. There is no sign indicating that the Buy 4 packs of canned soda discount deal applies only to products from the same supplier - you have to know that 7up is a Coke product and not a Pepsi product. It took me 20 minutes to find a can of pumpkin, and the employees did not know where it was. Theres no club card - you have to sign up online to get discounts. Prices for frozen vegetables are almost double Ralphs. They are excellent at enforcing their mask policy during the coronavirus pandemic, and for that reason, and because they are trying hard, Im upping them a star.

Empanadas To Go
12345 Mountain Ave # D, Chino, CA 91710, United States
What are empanadas? Empanadas are either baked or fried basically, a turnover consisting of pastry and filling (sweet or savory) Originally from Spain, Southern European, Latin American and even Iberian-influenced cultures. Variations include Italian calzones or panzerotti, British pasties, American hot pockets, Russian chebureki and Crimeanian fleischkuekle.Argentina considers empanadas to be their national dish and have progressed throughout history to become one of the most popular and eminent Latin American food staples and still enjoyed till this day.Empanadas to go offer authentic home-style empanadas, subs, pizzas and desserts. I tried two of their empanadas since I had just come from lunch. The popular criolla which consists of ground beef, olives, raisins, eggs and onions. The Saltena; finely chopped steak, potatoes, red pepper and onion. Lastly, the seasonal peach empanada. Both the savory empanadas were absolutely delicious seasoned to perfection and was served very hot! The seasonal peach empanada was tasty but because I was so full, I took a couple bites and decided to save it for after dinner. The only recommendation I have for patrons is to eat the empanadas hot and fresh because they do not hold very well.
