Olive Garden Italian Restaurant
16811 Beach Blvd, Huntington Beach, CA 92647, United States
Olive garden is a wonderful family restaurant with gourmet Italian food that was very cheap. The environment was fresh and the food, especially the soups were superb to the Italian restaurants in the area. The service was great and they made sure we were treated like family. I recommend this place to people trying to save money and who just want to have a great time at one of orange countys undisputed greatest Italian restaurants.
California Pizza Kitchen at Huntington Beach
7851 Edinger Ave, Huntington Beach, CA 92647, United States
I like experiencing the fresh pizza restaurant in Huntington Beach where my grandma and I enjoyed our meal. I had spaghetti and she had soup.
Panera Bread
19461 Main St, Huntington Beach, CA 92648, United States
This Panera Bread is fantastic! There are always people in the restaurant...a steady stream of business....which shows they have a following for their excellent food and service. Theres sandwiches and soups are to die for!! You can always trust that the new options on the menu will never disappoint.. Its one of the few places I like to consistantly try new things. I look forward to their seasonal salads every year. Wholesome amazing food!
Kung Pao Bowl
6840 Edinger Ave, Huntington Beach, CA 92647, United States
I always feel so guilty after consuming Chinese food, due to the copious amount of sodium and fats Ive ingested.Whenever Im craving Chinese food in Huntington Beach, this is my go-to place for Chinese.Reasonable lunch specials that also include soup and some sort of fried appetizer (cream cheese wonton or egg roll). My favorite is their fish fillet with hot garlic sauce. The fish is breaded and fried to a perfect texture, and the sauce is flavorful!Considering the name of the restaurant is Kung Pao Bowl, I certainly had to try one of their kung pao bowls. Their kung pao shrimp is delicious! They mix in a lot of chili peppers along with scallions, celery, and peanuts to give the kung pao shrimp this intense zing.Ive also tried their Fried Rice, Chow Mein, and Curry Chicken. Ive been satisfied with every dish thus far!Good customer service as well.
Slice Shabu
16871 Beach Blvd, Huntington Beach, CA 92647, United States
I love Shabu Shabu and it was my first time here. Although its cold inside the restaurant, the hot soup makes everything better. They have a lot of good options and our server was very sweet and caring - always came by to check in on us. I would definitely come back. Just be careful of the parking though, as their lot is really small.

Tama Sushi
16367 Bolsa Chica St, Huntington Beach, CA 92649, United States
Yessss, a definite must-go!My food restrictions narrowed after watching the Seaspiracy documentary on Netflix, and I stopped eating fish for months.Although my body wasnt affected by this decision, my tastebuds were sad. I missed the comfort and the yum--factor of sushi, which were a go-to meal (particularly without rice) before photoshoots.Enter: Tama Sushi. Haven of both vegan, pescavegan, and carnivore options.I wish this place existed in Los Angeles.Although I inhaled my Bumble-afforded dinner too quickly to document its deliciousness via photos, its memory still cozies me.Order:-Vegan Miso Ramen. I adore how miso soup is included with every order (the equivalent of chips & salsa at Mexican restaurants) but this is worth the additional investment.-LB Vegan roll-Mango Tango roll-Magic Mountain rollSkip:-I regret nothing.Bonus points for such a friendly, allergen-accommodating staff, especially since we arrived 30 minutes before closing. They didnt rush us, and went out of their way to ensure their dishes accommodated my quirky dietary restrictions.Nom on.
Pho May
16400 Pacific Coast Hwy #117, Huntington Beach, CA 92649, United States
We're SO happy Pho May opened up in Sunset Beach!! We've needed a Pho restaurant in the neighborhood, and this is a great addition. The food was delicious, portions were very good, and the service was delightful (free refills on ice green tea and one free refill on Thai iced tea)! Atmosphere is lovely—it's right in Peter's Landing, so you look right out to the harbor. Pictures include a vegetarian pho with Tofu and a chicken pho. Go here ASAP!
LAWA Thai Cuisine
7251 Warner Ave # F, Huntington Beach, CA 92647, United States
We went to Huntington Beach to check out their shopping center and visited Lawa Thai Cuisine for lunch. I have to say, this is my new favorite Thai restaurant! The food is delicious and made me miss Thailand. We had a chance to talk to the owners. They are very friendly Thai people, experienced chefs, and we learned more about their dishes and stories. They use fresh and high-quality ingredients and create very unique and amazing presentations. Before the shop opened, they spent a lot of time designing it. Its such a modern take on traditional design. What we ordered:Hor Mok Taylay (seafood curry in a coconut shell) - 10/10, amazing presentation, homemade sauce is natural and flavorful, fresh seafood, and they use fresh-cut coconut shell. You can eat the coconut meat at the end.Panang Salmon - the sauce is tasty and the salmon is very moist. I could eat a whole bowl of rice with it.Kao Soi Chicken - the most delicious chicken legs, so soft and flavorful, the chicken meat easily fell from the bone and is very good flavor. Loved it.Grilled Pork Jowl Salad - never had it before, it’s such a great appetizer, so refreshing, and the pork jowl was perfect.Poh Tak (seafood soup) - quite spicy for me, but my family enjoyed it.Papaya Salad - thinly cut, crunchy, and refreshing.Coco Island (coconut ice cream) - I love this dessert so much, with fresh-cut fruit on top, coconut ice cream, and also fresh sticky rice underneath. It was creamy and sweet. All in all, it was an amazing experience visiting Lawa Thai. They also have vegan options. I cant wait to come back again!
Masala Waves Indian and Nepali Cuisine
18302 Beach Blvd, Huntington Beach, CA 92648, United States
Yaaayy Im so happy to have finally found a restaurant in Huntington Beach with delicious Indian food!Full disclosure - they almost automatically started with 4 stars because we placed an order on their website. Upon arriving to pick it up, we found out that it hadnt gotten approved on their end of the system by anyone and therefore had not even been started. They promptly began our order, but said itd be a bit of a wait. That was not ideal. THEN, one of the employees came over to us with a tray and insisted that we take a seat at a table to enjoy some complimentary bamboo and black-eyed pea soup (like sambar) to make up for the inconvenience. That was a really kind gesture and showed excellent customer service. 5 stars reinstated.Once we got home, we noticed that all the notes had been read and fulfilled (e.g. request for chili sauce, onions and chilis on the side). A very good sign. Speaking of chili sauce, my husband said I like that a lot. Wow, thats tasty. The chicken biryani received a Yes, thats authentic. Very good. Yep. Yep, with plenty of head nods. The momos with roasted tomato sauce were also very good. The Butter Chicken was delicious and flavorful! It was not too sweet (like other local Indian restaurants) and had a good meat to sauce ratio. Wonderful sauce. The garlic naan smelled incredible and was soft and pillowy. Happy with all the portions and prices.Overall, Masala Waves was a total hit and has our vote for best Indian food in HB. We cant wait to come back and try other dishes. I will definitely return and recommend to others. The only thing that could make them even better is a buffet on the weekends.
Akuma Ramen & Sushi Bar
16051 Bolsa Chica St, Huntington Beach, CA 92649, United States
Awesome!!!So…don't take my word for it. This is the best sushi I have had since moving to Huntington Beach. It is simple yet creative, and very fresh and delicious. The prices are comparable for the area but still on the high side for sushi . But I have no complaints. We happened to come during happy hour and they have a large discounted menu of sushi, sashimi and maki. We had 4 rolls, edemame, cucumber salad, chicken ramen, 2 ice cream sandwiches and an iced green tea (recommended ) and we spent $ 70 with tip. Oh and try the fish burritos. !There are limited tables so you may need to wait, but the food comes fast and the turn around happen quick (possible because it is encourage by the staff) but no one was rude.
