Get Fresh Cafe
1122 W Ave K, Lancaster, CA 93534, United States
It was a bit disappointing not trying the butternut squash soup, or the sandwich (forgot the name but it had pesto and I love that stuff) and the beyond beef burger they have on the menu. I say that because they ran out of ingredients to make it. I totally get it, it’s vegan, it’s expensive! Hey, I’m just glad there is a restaurant that serves vegan food. Their food wasn’t just good it beats veggie grill flavors. I’m definitely going to be a regular! I had the veggie sandwich, I tried the egg less sandwich, and the meatball sub (all vegan) delicious flavor in every bite.

Today was my first time ever trying this place and it wasnt a pleasant experience.I walked in with my family and no one greeted us. Ok whatever no one said hi, not the worst thing in the world. Get over it....Then the lady at the counter ask what we would like. (Younger girl with dark hair) No smiles, not very friendly but not rude either. First impression tells me she didnt want to be there. Then this older red headed lady walks in and the mood changes. First impression is she is the mean boss lady because everyones demeanor changed as soon as she walked through the door.Anyway my husband states which bread he wanted and the young lady informs us they dont have that bread. Ok whatever, it happens right. so he settles for white bread. He ordered a pastrami sandwhich. Red head lady comments another pastrami in a tone like she didnt want to have to make a pastrami sanwhich?. I didnt really understand the necessity of the comment. So husband wants to leave after that and take our money elsewhere because this place clearly does not Have a grasp of good customer service. We decided to stay. Now comes the weird part. Red head lady comes out of the back and is like why do you guys have such a hard time keeping the stuff in the right containers then with her bare hands starts picking out all the veggies that had fallen into wrong containers. She then brings out fresh veggies and scoops the veggies out with her bare hands into the old veggie containers. (old should go on top right!) Um lady, you need to put some gloves on those hands! Especially since i seen you wipe the counter in the back with that wet rag and now your touching our food with your nasty dirty rag hands. So now we got veggies in that bin that will go bad and have already been exposed to bacteria and now all that bacteria ia getting into fresh veggies. Then when you place your order and tell them which bread they place your bread in the window on the counter. No plate, no napkin, no anything.hello guys, even though you wiped that counter there is still bacteria on it! Wow i am like disgusted at this point. So anyways...I order the gambino. Wow what a dissapointment. I felt like i was eating microwaved meat. Very poor quality . the chicken felt soggy and with every bite i took i was eating mouthfuls of lettuce and marinara sauce. I was looking in the sandwhich to make sure there was meat at first. My husband did not care for his pastrami sandwhich, which is odd because my husband loves pastrami sandwhiches. We both agreed we would rather go to subway. In conclusion, my family will never eat here again.Red head lady definately needs to take a course or two in proper customer service, proper food handling tequniques and proper way to treat employees. As we left my husband said if we get sick, we know why honey .First impression:Poor quality, poor service, and contaminated food. The sitting area was clean. That was the pnly poistive I can think of.

Today we were with my sister for lunch and we ordered the Chicken Soup, Excellent! Roni attended to us and we really liked her very cordial attention and we felt welcome, we appreciate that they employ people from Honduras. We would like them to open a Honduran Restaurant, it would be great, so I wouldnt have to travel so far. Very grateful
Kyokos Kitchen
1149 W Ave I, Lancaster, CA 93534, United States
My wife and I have been frequenting this restaurant for nearly a year now (coincidentally, at the time of writing, Kyokos is almost at the 1 year mark) and have absolutely fallen in love with it. Weve tried about 95% of the menu in one shape or form, and Ive yet to find anything that is short of delicious. They aim to create a sense of nostalgia - food from a childhood long gone surrounded by family and in a living room filled with games and items of the 80s-90s. Personally, I feel like the mark has been hit firmly. The interior is lined with things youll fondly remember if you were a kid in the Super Nintendo/N64 era.The curry is one of their more popular dishes and its as comforting as grandmas soup. Varying in spice by your request, its hearty, flavorful, has a small kick of spices (not spicy unless you order it that way) that create a meal that feeds the heart as well. The owners (Ill withhold names out of respect) are such delightful people. Ive always been weak for supporting local businesses, but they truly deserve to create a permanent niche in Lancaster. Theyre as sweet as youd hope, as kind as anyone should be to one another, and as hardworking as the best. Theyre adding new things every day, so check it out! I promise youll like anything you order. (And every single sauce they have is absolutely game-changing FYI.)If you want my personal recommendations, I always get Spamago to split with the missus, and juggle between some sort of curry, the Sharpshooter (a very luxurious choice), and one of their burgers. Even with Japanese-Hawaiian roots, they make a damn good burger.
In-N-Out Burger
2021 W Ave I, Lancaster, CA 93536, United States
Revised 09/05/2023Management has done nothing to deter the vagrant begging for money, as he stands at the entrance holding the door open for paying customers. Customers should NEVER be disturbed!Always busy, with hustling fast hard working employees, who make this a true Southern California Landmark of Great Hamburger Franchises, which has continued on with success at this location. The Lancaster store is as busy, and excellent in all aspects, as any In-N-OUT Burger location. This location has easy access at the Avenue I Exit, on the Antelope Valley 14 Freeway, making for easy access. One Cant beat their old fashioned style of great hamburgers, fries, shakes, as if it were the days of sock hop soda pop.Theres always a line, but its worth the wait, and the wait is minimal for as many customers as constantly patronize this location. The Cheeseburgers and Fries are by far the very best of any of the competition. For the cost of 1 Double-Double, 1 Triple-Triple, 1 french fry, with 2 Cokes, for less than $20, no one can compare to In-N-Out, for outstanding Americana fast food at an unbelievably low prices!In-N-Out defies the cliche: you get what you pay for, because here you get the best for far less!
Gonzalez Meat Market

I ordered two tortas one with out tomatoes for allergy reasons first one had more jalapeños then meat then the other one had tomatoes on it after I asked for them not to be put on sandwich, then I ordered a menudo no pata with harmony it took them 15 min to bring it out with a spoon only took another 10 min to bring tortillas and what comes with menudo then it had no harmony as asked for so took another 10 min to bring me a cup up cold hard harmony to put in my soup! Manager did replace the torta that’s about it! Service was so unprofessional the cashier/ server rolling her eyes and took her sweet time even another customer was on her about getting what we needed to even start eating….never again will we eat there! Just finished my meal and had to write this...I hardly ever write reviews but had to get this off my chest. If youre thinking about dining or take out from here? Stop and JUST DO IT!!!!I ALWAYS judge a restaurant by their Macncheese. How can you screw that up right? Well, MANY do...including so-called fine dining restaurants. This was hands down THE BEST Ive ever had in my life. (I had the creamy). To my surprise, they also make my favorite soup....lobster bisque so had to order it. Like the MacnCheese, this is now my favorite lobster bisque. They dont skimp out on the lobster meat like so many do...and the flavor is simply AMAZING!I dont live in the AV anymore but, Ill be coming here every single time I visit my family, thats for sure. My most sincere compliments to the Chef!! I only got to say hi and bye to the owners, though my parents inform me they are just as great as the food. Finally...SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BUSINESS as much as possible people! Your heart/mind and taste buds will surely thank you!
Azteca Mexican Restaurant
47904 90th St W, Lancaster, CA 93536, United States
Small out of the way place but, food is outstanding...salsa is the best and if you ask for the hot stuff better watch out as thats what you get WOW !..... Driving along 90th street west you may look and just pass this place up from looking at the outside but dont make a mistake !!!! its the best Mexican restaurant in the Antelope valley. Our party of 4 arrived at 5pm and the word must be out as the place was packed by 6pm ( sat night ) and not an empty seat in the house thru the dinner hours. I had the Camarone Azteca ( bacon wrapped shrimp ) truly wonderful dish....menu was 4 pages and many many choices and all prices were reasonable. margaritas were awesome and tasty ( I had two and all I can say is yum yum ) worth the drive and really nice to get out of town for dinner. funny, but these people actually love working there..some places it seems like its just a job for the waitresses ...they actually care that youre having a great time..... I will be back but maybe with reservations...word is getting out fast about this place.... enjoy !!!!!
Birria Superior
44140 20th St W, Lancaster, CA 93534, United States
It was my first time going here. I used the drive-thru to make my order. I think the food is average. One of the things I didnt like is the food portions. I think theyre servings are definitely on the small side. Another thing I didnt like is the customer service I received while making my order. I think the girl taking my order could have been a little more helpful. When I was ordering my food, I asked lots of questions about the menu and my order consisted of ala carte items. If shes good at her job she should have noticed that I was potentially a new customer, and therefore should have made some suggestions and pointed me to a combo that she would recommend based on my order. Was it her responsibility to make sure I got the bargain meal because I wasnt able to do it on my own? No it isnt. She didnt have to and she didnt. But me being new to the business, it would have been appreciated, and maybe even make me a returning customer. By not recognizing this, along with the small portions, made sure that I wouldnt be going back anytime soon. If you notice that theres someone new at the window, just ask them have they been there before, and assist them by making some some suggestions based on what theyve ordered or from your conversation with them.
