Boiling Point
315 S San Gabriel Blvd, San Gabriel, CA 91776, United States
The new Boiling Point opened up at the old location that used to be A+ Tea House. I saw on BPs Instagram that they were doing a limited time offer of a mutton hot pot so I wanted to go there and try it.First of all, this place has a parking lot right next door, which is good. Street parking was not a problem either. Its a Saturday and there were a lot of people waiting outside already. I actually walked inside the restaurant to look for a waiting list but they directed me outside to a tablet that let you put in your phone number on the waiting list. Then you could sit on the benches outside and wait. In the winter, waiting outside for around 30 minutes is not enjoyable. (I actually got a cold after this visit which was not that pleasant.) Inside, theres actually a lot of space in the middle, and I didnt understand why they didnt add more tables. I guess they rearranged some tables for bigger parties. My friend and I both ordered the mutton hot pot, and we also ordered an appetizer called Holy Cow, which is a combination. I could not believe the value of this appetizer. For $8, there were just a few pieces of pigs ear and stewed beef. Its more like a small snack. I commented on this ridiculous portion size considering the price, and the server boy only apologized. Nothing much he could do. I couldnt believe this rip-off! Do not order this appetizer! The whole thing is smaller than the size of a ladys palm. The mutton hot pot itself was fine. It wasnt what I was expecting, but its still fine. The soup base was very herbal. There are only a little bit of greens on top and lots of vermicelli at the bottom. I think the value of this is not as good compared to the other hot pots on the regular menu. I would rather get the regular items on the menu than this limited time offer.Overall, I would give this place a 2.5-star rating, but since I couldnt, Ill round it up to be nice, as I did like this place before. Its just that the value of their hot pots were eaten away by inflation and its actually expensive to eat here now. And the appetizer size is definitely a rip off!

Meet You BBQ
529 E Valley Blvd #158, San Gabriel, CA 91776, United States
I found Meet You BBQ on Yelp by searching late night eats in San Gabriel area at midnight. They closed at 2am. We got there at 12:45am. Last call on ordering is at 1am. Yes, just made it!Meet U BBQ has a variety of meats on skewers, seafood, fried rice, and more. It was the perfect place to eat for late night because who doesnt like meat on skewers, cold beer and good music. Its self ordering after scanning the QR code on the table. Staff is super friendly and told us to help ourselves with snacks. The complimentary self-serve snacks station have random items like roasted peanuts, sweet & sour chicken feet, sesame balls, wonton noodles, watermelons, orange slices and more. They were all interestingly delicious individually. Very generous!I think they used the same seasoning for everything but the meat brings out the flavors slightly different. We had the chicken wings, pork, beef, chicken gizzard, and chicken skewers. The chicken wings was the best! Packed with flavors and cooked to perfection! The Grilled Oyster and Scallops with glass noodles on shell was so good. It was garlicky and savory. The baby clam was too spicy for me but addictingly good.Service was quick - could also be we were one of three customers/tables left before closing. Well be back again the next time in LA.

Sushi Rolland Japanese Restaurant
264 S Mission Dr H, San Gabriel, CA 91776, United States
Decided to check out this sushi spot for a quick pickup order and their website made it a breeze! I ordered online and literally within 15 minutes of ordering my order was ready at the counter. When I arrived there was no line — I just had to wait a minute for my order to be completed and packed up to go.The sushi place is inside Blossom Market so it is a very low key/casual dining experience. There are high tables and chairs immediately surrounding the counter and it wasn't too busy for a Saturday.I ordered 3 rolls to try:- it was nice that all came in reusable plastic containers with some small side of salad#1: Baked Salmon Roll: $13.25 - portion size was just right and en par with most other places I've had similar rolls from - salmon was slightly over baked so a bit dry, and the sauce was lacking a little#2: Blossom Roll: $13.75 - pretty presentation - but just 6 pieces so not as much rice in case you're thinking portion size looks small - but you get salmon and tuna + salad#3: Spicy Tuna: $11.25 - rice portion again not plumpy at allOverall depending on the roll you order the portion will seem a bit small compared to other quick sushi joints. This will do for a quick pick up or dine in alternative to cooking but if you're looking for large rolls, none of these 3 are big at all but price is affordable.

Potato Noodle
288 S San Gabriel Blvd #102, San Gabriel, CA 91776, United States
Before coming to this potato noodle shop: What's the difference between cooking it at home? After coming to this potato noodle shop: It is indeed a little bit delicious, and the chicken rack is really amazing to me⭐️Potato casserole: To be honest, the soup base is similar to that of Tian Xiaohua in the supermarket, and the side dishes are far less realistic than those made at home. However, the potato flour is obviously more delicious than the one in the supermarket. It tastes better and is more chewy. It is indeed a handmade flour. Potato flour is more delicious than noodles. It is recommended to order all potato flour. The meatballs are a demerit point as they are cut into small pieces and taste like starch balls. I suggest the store omit the meatballs and put more vegetables?⭐️qq chicken rack: This chicken rack is really amazing! The portion is huge, the texture of the meat is really chewy, and it doesn't feel dry at all. The taste is on the sweet side, and it feels like it would be great with wine! Personally, I think it's the best chicken rack I've ever eaten in LA.

Sunrise Noodle House
3219 San Gabriel Blvd, Rosemead, CA 91770, United States
This is a Shantou family run restaurant. They speak English, Vietnamese, Cantonese, and some Mandarin.Their Hainan Chicken Rice (the rice is cooked with chicken broth, come with choice of house made dipping sauce) and the Spicy Vietnamese Beef Noodle Soup are the signature dishes on the menu along with some Cantonese and Vietnamese favorites: shrimp wonton in egg-noodle soup, deep-fried spring egg rolls, pan-fried daikon / radish cake, and fried rice dishes. The fish balls are fresh but are not chewy enough. They serve complimentary dessert. The taro soup with tapioca and coconut cream is tasty. The parking is at rear, suffice for this 48- seat capacity restaurant.

La familia comida mexicana
2123 San Gabriel Blvd, Rosemead, CA 91770, United States
This little spot doesnt look like much. In fact it reminded me of the in-home restaurants in Mexico. There is indoor and outdoor seating with decent parking. If you go during lunch hour, youll catch people rushing in and out for something good to eat. They offer complimentary chips and salsa. (The salsa is pretty dang good) They offered 1 refill if you choose a foundation drink. I got an Burrito Mojado de Asada. It was NICE AND BIG. Just all plump and ready to max out my stomach. The side of sour cream and guacamole was the icing on the cake... or the sour cream and guacamole to a buritto. It made the whole meal much better. An addition not many restaurants I visit do. The staff is absolutely friendly and you can tell their customers love this little spot. In fact while we were eating, la regular insisted they stay open later to accommodate for dinner. With their 3 staff members handing it all, it makes sense they close a little early. I was told the Huevos Rancheros are REALLY GOOD here too. So I am heading back soon to give them a try for breakfast.

Hot pot & BBQ
United States, California, San Gabriel, E Valley Blvd, 邮政编码: 91776
I really like this place because they served lots of variety of toppings, dipping sauces and unlimited meat to choose from. The soups were really good and don’t have a really strong taste like other hotpot place served, it’s subtle which I like. I also like the interior of this restaurant, it’s bright and feels relaxing.

Love at the Curb
301 W Valley Blvd Ste. #112, San Gabriel, CA 91776, United States
This new hotpot restaurant tastes really delicious, especially the new pear hotpot. The spicy taste has the sweetness of pear. The most important thing is that you can't get too hot in the summer. The newly arrived iced osmanthus wine is sweet and has a floral aroma, which is suitable for girls, but there are Great staying power! Halfway through the meal, I realized that I forgot to take a photo. I loved their golden little bowl, Maocai Naohua, and their A5 Japanese Wagyu beef. Although the presentation was not fancy, it did not affect its taste. It was so fresh and tender in the mouth. The smooth texture and butter-flavored bottom of the pot are really refreshing. Our whole family is a hot pot lover!

DX-LAB
529 E Valley Blvd suite 108 a, San Gabriel, CA 91776, United States
Originally wanted to order online from them on a Tuesday, but they were unexpectedly closed, and my order didnt go through. Figured Id try again, but this time Im gonna head over to make sure theyre open, and lo & behold, they were! One guy at the front of the house greeted me. I let him know Im ordering takeout but needed to check out their menu. He handed me one, then went back to handling business before taking my order. I gave him my card, and waited for the food. Very efficient.Very nice atmosphere! Dark tones with some foliage. Interesting decor. Didnt exactly say Chinese restaurant, but honestly couldve passed as a coffee shop.I ordered two items: Dan Dan Noodles and Chicken Soup. Their noodles were really good. Pork had good flavor and spices, the noodles werent too thick, but nice and chewy. They absorbed all those spicy oils really good.Their chicken soup was pretty good. Very flavorful and savory. The chicken meat was very smooth and soft. But I was hoping to get more pieces of chicken is all.Ive ordered a couple items from them since, and never but disappointed. Last time I was here, I came with my friends and we all loved it.Pro-tip: Ask for containers to pack up the oils, so you can poor over your rice for another meal!
