Crave Restaurant Downtown Santa Ana
410 W 4th St 2nd Floor, Santa Ana, CA 92701, United States
Found this great little restaurant in Santa Ana in the downtown area. Beyond really enjoying their vegetable soup and caprese sandwich, the service is fantastic. Very nice people with a welcoming spirit. Can’t beat good food and good service.
Olive Garden Italian Restaurant
2791 N Main St, Santa Ana, CA 92705, United States
I recently visited Olive Garden in Santa Ana and had a wonderful experience. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, and the staff was friendly and attentive. The menu had a great variety of Italian dishes, and everything we ordered tasted fresh and delicious.I especially loved the unlimited breadsticks, soup, and salad that came with our meal - they were both so tasty and satisfying. The prices were also reasonable for the quality of the food and service.Overall, I highly recommend Olive Garden in Santa Ana for anyone looking for a tasty Italian meal and a pleasant dining experience.

This restaurant is nice, their soups are good & a friend had a salad & that looked good too. Then the bread, of course, tastes wonderful! The ambiance of the place has a relaxing feel with soft music & the view is nice too.
California Pizza Kitchen at Santa Ana
2800 N Main St, Santa Ana, CA 92705, United States
Seems understaffed. Dirty tables everywhere. Staff was nice but it felt like we were bothering them when we needed to ask for something. They were all running around. Received the wrong soup but ate it as the server was running everywhere else. It was way too cold in the restaurant. Music was too loud.
Bird & Barrel
305 E 4th St Suite 105, Santa Ana, CA 92701, United States
Ah - I found one of my new favorite restaurants in Santa Ana! Bird & Barrel is a wonderful Asian Fusion spot that not only has a good pricepoint but the flavor to match with pricier spots around the OC area.A few items Ive tried so far:+Seared duck breast: My go to item. The duck breast is cooked wonderfully and isnt super game-y. It comes with some delicious rice (that I feel like is also cooked in some type of broth), pickled veggies, and a delicious sweet sauce to dip the duck in. One of their pricier items but well worth it.+Poached chicken: This is their Hainan Chicken interpretation and its super solid (usually available towards the end of the week versus the beginning). You dont get the soup, but the chicken is wonderful (the skin just falls right off), comes with a delicious ginger sauce on the side and a similar rice to the duck breast as well as a side of the pickled veggies. Wonderful and the price is spot on and love the presentation even in takeout.+Beef lok lak: One of their newer items. The lok lak is made with a lot of care. Its not my favorite interpretation but is definitely up there. Love the spices and how juicy the meat is (comes medium) and the veggies here are not pickled and work well with the meat (more in line with a traditional lok lak). The rice is also still spot on.Their drinks are also available for takeout. Ive had the Old Bird, the Lychee Sake, the Santa Ana, Mother Plucker, and Rooster tail. Even to go, they are all delicious and they make it on the spot when you come to order so its not super diluted when you take it back home.Advise parking-wise to go for the parking lot right behind the restaurant (2 hours for free). Theres some limited street parking which you can also shoot for but the parking in front of the restaurant is a) co-opted to be more of a takeout area and b) usually super limited even in the slower days.Service is also super kind and friendly. Know theyre doing a lot more with music and evening festivities to bring people out as well.Love the restaurant and concept - hope to be back soon for the lobster roll and oysters!
Panera Bread

We stood in front of an empty counter until I shouted to the back for them to tell me I order on the kiosk. I was surprised that it was self order. It would have been nice for a sign to say that or maybe its the new thing and I just havent been to a restaurant in a while. At least the food was pretty good but the soup was ordinary and underwhelming.
El Chilango 1
2217 N Fairview St, Santa Ana, CA 92706, United States
The place is horrible!!! The food was tasteless, everything was dirty and things were piled on top of each other, I dont know why the city doesnt do a review of that restaurant, Im sure they would close it...we didnt eat the food we ordered because it had a lot of fat, a lot of beans Without any salt, the tacos we ordered had the meat that was supposedly hard and even black! I had to ask for the bill and we left the food almost intact because we didnt eat it, it was inedible, it is urgent that they go check the place, cleanliness, and food management!!!...terrible place!!!
Tonys Kitchen

Excellent food with homemade seasoning to differentiate it from other places, the food is less greasy and that enhances the flavor to the maximum. A modest family kitchen run by its owner, I recommend it

Nice and clean place with great authentic Korean food!! Service was awesome, which was a big plus ? Tried their spicy tofu soup and spicy pork. Both were delicious, and I loved all their banchan. We also got to try their fried tofu which was amazing! Im thrilled to have this new restaurant in my neighborhood and cant wait to visit again.
All African Stores Cuisines

This was our first time having Nigerian food.We ordered egusi soup with fufu, ofada soup, moimoi and jollof rice.Service- they are terrific. We ordered the food before going to pick up and they were very helpful in helping us decide what to try.Food- this type of food was outside my regular palate. From what I can tell, very high quality and very flavorful. I shared pictures with my Nigerian friend and she instantly pointed out how authentic it looked. Compliments to the chef. The jollof rice was my favorite. Super flavorful and the lamb was absolutely amazing. I typically don't like lamb much but it was spiced wonderfully. I tried beef with the egusi soup. Overall the dish was wonderful but the beef was quite hard and dry. I'm unsure if that was the intended texture but in my opinion it was a little tough.Price- ranged from $15-$25 per item. The amount of food and quality was well worth the money.I am highly likely to order from them again. I am excited to try more next time.
