Olive Garden Italian Restaurant
1210 S Bradley Rd, Santa Maria, CA 93454, United States
Great food, great service. Only con is its a little pricey. Chicken and Gnocchi soup is probably the best soup Ive ever had. Any cheese based appetizer is awesome. Calamari is pretty good, but the batter was a little overcooked on mine. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant and location.I came back here specifically to update this review because of a recent server. Her name was Kaili and she was honestly phenomenal. Super attentive to my buddy and Is table, super friendly and helpful, just an all around testament to top tier service. Would go back just because of Kailis high level of service and friendly demeanor.
Urbane Cafe

They specialize in serving fresh baked focaccia with their soups, salads and sandwiches. They have a guy rolling out and dimpling the dough before you. Had their Cobb salad, better than I expected and better than some sit down restaurants. Great place for lunch.

Fantastic restaurant to eat with great variety. My family of five went for dinner and we ordered a cheese board with fruit. The portion was large and we all ate delicious and varied food. We also ordered a meat and vegetable soup that was AMAZING with just the right amount of spice. Delicious with the bread they serve and the orange. The atmosphere is very pleasant, very cool and jovial. If in doubt I recommend it to be in a good environment with very good vibes. The person in charge was very attentive and friendly. We left happy to have gone to that restaurant for dinner.
Jaffa Caf
2530 S Broadway a, Santa Maria, CA 93454, United States
I find myself meandering back to this wonderful restaurant for lunch and dinner and even take out. Yes I can stay and eat, but when I am in the mood for something different and even exotic after work ... This is where I go. The people who work there are very nice but what I notice most is the energy of the place is positive and inviting. ... I like the smell of spices in the air. I am glad to see that Santa Maria is expanding in diversity of many different kinds of authentic places to eat. This is a welcome change.Jaffa Cafe deserves a 5 star rating because the food more than anything is delicious and nutritious!Joelle

I went here when they first opened but I havent gone back yet. But I totally forgot to write a review. When we heard about this place and we went here right away. Love going to New local places It was 1030AM. Right when they opened. I wasnt hungry yet, but we had to try something. So my friend got a kids Quesadilla and a horchata. I got a side of beans. It was really good! Very authentic. Everything was just right. A lot of places make beans way too salty or the horchata too sweet. They are still getting things rolling in there, butI still recommend going. lIl be going back when lm hungry enough for a full meal!UPDATE:I did go back for a full meal. I got a burrito and I really liked it. My hubby got enchiladas, I think. He wasnt a huge fan. But I still have high hopes for them!! I want them to stick around!
The Garden Mediterranean Restaurant & Cafe
122 E Boone St, Santa Maria, CA 93454, United States
Very friendly staff and the decor feels like a five star restaurant, yet its casual and laid back. All of our food was hot and or cold as expected and appeared to be made to be made to order. Not many vegetarian options, but the breads, lentil soup, and vegetarian platter were really good options if its your first time here or returning for it again. And as a bonus they were voted best outdoor restaurant in Santa Maria so thats worth checking out!
The A Street Cafe

This place is so cool! The food was great and the portions were really large. The prices were really good as well. What makes this great is the building, the view, and the mission of this place. The restaurant employees people who normally would have a hard time getting a job. This does not make the service any worse or the food and worse. Everything was great! The servers were so nice! Please check out the restaurant and the mission of the foundation. Also check out the to go food. We picked up and apple feta salad, and not only was it good, but for like 6 buck it was so much salad in there.Stop on by and give it a try. You will not be disappointed.
Zoes Hawaiian BBQ

This is one of my favorite places but the service a time was terrible. I ordered online and was immediately called to let me know they had run out of what I ordered and offered to cancel my order or change it, so I changed it. They said they'd update the price difference which never did happen. I arrived at the establishment 20 minutes after my order was placed (which is the time that the text from them said I'd get my order). I was told that my order was not ready yet and so I took a seat right in front of the register area. After another 45 minutes. I was still waiting for my order. Other patrons were coming in for their orders and also made to wait. The whole purpose for ordering online was so I wouldn't have to hang out in an establishment! So after I found myself too impatient to wait any longer, I stood up and asked the cashier if my food was ready yet. She asked my name and apparently it was ready as it was sitting right in front of the register ready to go. My name was never called and I had to wonder how much longer I would have sat there waiting if I hadn't had asked again. They called 1 guy's name 4 times (lol, I was so tempted to take that guys order!) So anyway, we get home, food is no longer warm, taste was not the same as it usually is, and the overall experience was just terrible. I'll still be eating there again but hope that the establishment will update their ETA texts. I wouldn't have minded waiting an hour for our food while I was at home, but sitting there in the restaurant for that long was not cool.
