Olive Garden Italian Restaurant
998 N Walton Ave, Yuba City, CA 95993, United States
For a new restaurant in town I was impressed by how well everything ran. Many parties waiting but went fairly quickly especially while drinking a half priced beer. Our server Adam provided great customer service and we got our moneys worth with the unlimited soup, salad, breadsticks, and pasta, even bring a serving of each home with us. Great addition to Yuba City!
Panera Bread
1275 Colusa Ave, Yuba City, CA 95991, United States
The place was not busy at the time of the visit. The restaurant was out of stock of many items, making selecting food a challenge. The employees seemed to be discussing a rather important topic while I was waiting for my food to be prepared. The employees finally noticed me watching and starting to make my order. The food was below subpar to unedible. The sandwich ordered was pathetic with horrible bread. The chicken was chewy and tough. The sandwich went into the garbage. The soup was ok but luke warm. The lobby was not clean, with tables needing to be wiped down. The napkins and condiments needed to be stocked.Overall, this is a Panera to avoid if you are used to better service and par quality food at a different Panera. I will avoid this Panera in the future and possibly all Paneras.

Baanthai cuisine
520 Bogue Rd, Yuba City, CA 95991, United States
This is one of the hardest reviews Ive ever had to give. Let me start off by saying that the staff were very friendly! The restaurant was neat, clean and well kept! The food was delicious!! Heres the hard part, I could not give more than 2 stars because the price I paid for the tiny amount of food that I got was outrageous! $12 for 6 spoonfuls of food and it didnt even come with rice, I had to pay additional for that ? At $12 I would be so much more forgiving if the food was just ok but the portion was bigger. Baanthai cuisine would get a full 5 star rating from me if the portion to price ratio were so much more reasonable!!
Suns Caf
646 Gray Ave, Yuba City, CA 95991, United States
Ive been eating here regularly for 17 years (since the day it opened). There are so many excellent, and highly varied, choices on the menu that it never gets old-- plus the owners are wonderful, caring people. I love all of the Asian dishes-- and Ive had all of them. The Sushi is excellent (Bruce used to be a bay area sushi chef-- the sushi is 100% fresh made and perfect every time); the bulgoki and Kim Chee are wonderful (the Kim Chee is homemade and the best you will ever have), the spicy pork is comfort food. The American side of the menu is great too-- terrific cheesesteak, BLTA, fries, etc. Even the Ice Tea is a cut above, and really enjoyable. For breakfast, they have all the diner favorites, as well as a few unique dishes. Great coffee. Prices are very reasonable, particularly given the quality. This little unassuming diner/café is really the best restaurant in town.
In-N-Out Burger
1325 Sunsweet Blvd, Yuba City, CA 95993, United States
If you asked me 2mo ago if I wanted In-N-Out, I would have replied, Hell no! Why? All i can remember is the hamburgers being hella small and dry and basically a salad burger w/a patty in it. Couldnt stand it.A couple of months ago, my daughter went there cuz her and my grandson LOVE the place and she asked me if I wanted anything. I was hungry so i said yeah i guess. I told her to get me the same as her and after the 15 min or so wait, we got our food and I got my cheeseburger and it looked actually very tasty and juicy. Not how I remember them looking before. I took a bite and OMG, i couldnt believe how delicious it was. I was like DAMN, OK. They got wayvbetter, LolMustard fried is the only way to go and it comes w/them thick juicy pickles and i got it w/ everything on it and extra peperoncinis. Now, i cant stop going there. Im still not to fond of them fries but cant win em all. Cokes are on point! It may seem and look like a forever wait, but in total and being the 3rd car around the corner if at the Arden location, it only took a total of 16min. Well worth the wait.
Fernandos Cali Kitchen
450 Center St, Yuba City, CA 95991, United States
Hands down, the best restaurant in Yuba City right now. Ive been eating here all year and now I feel he has just perfected things to the point of every single thing I eat is out of this world phenomenal and swoon worthy!! I am not a huge salad person but the sonoma greens hits the spot every single time, even when Im craving carbs!! I thougth it was all about the carnitas, but Ohhhhhh myyyyy freaking goodness, the honey shiracha chicken will be my salad go to from now on!! The carnitas are still phenomenal, but I will keep them to the cali burrito, which is my #2 fave along with the chipotle mayo. Honorable mention for the fish tacos!! Everything is fresh and flavorful. Tho for me personally, my lesser faves, at least in the past, have been in the italian section of the menu, its still very, very good and I may at some point try that side again, but I have found so many other phenomenal menu items, its hard to try something else. The one thing on the italian side that you dont want to pass up is the Tiramisu!! I worked in a high end italian restaurant for many years and have had lots of Tiramisu from many places and have never been a big fan. Thats until I tried Fernandos Tiramisu! I now go in solely to get a slice sometimes, its that good!! The service has also evolved and improved, not that it was bad before, you can just really feel the team coming together and fine tuning!! His prices are on point as well, especially for what you get. Not pretentious, very welcoming atmosphere but still higher end ambiance for date night! The flavor is what you would expect from a niche fine dining establishment that takes pride in every single dish that leaves the kitchen, but you still get that home feeling and most importantly, that home flavor, just elevated!! This is the spot!! Support, support, support!!!!
Huckleberrys Breakfast & Lunch
724 W Onstott Frontage Rd, Yuba City, CA 95991, United States
I was having a terrible day and went here with my partner. He thought going out for a meal and some entertainment after would be helpful. This was our second trip to this establishment since I arrived and the first was great so I assumed this one would be as as well.We were seated and our waitress was what looked like a manager so I figured it wouldnt be too bad or frustrating. I had been crying a lot that day and when she arrived she asked my partner what we were having. He said we didnt know and she walked away. She didnt say anything to me (a strong theme that would continue up until we actually left.). When she came back she took our orders. Chatted with him. Walked away. She would come to the table to ask - how is the food? And other such pleasantries however she made direct eye contact with my partner and when I spoke or started to join in I was bulldozed and she would walk away. It would repeat several times. I was extremely frustrated and just shocked. Now I felt even worse than before and asked him to leave after I had maybe three bites of my breakfast. She came to the table and she asked him if he needed a box. His plate was clean. I had leftovers. I told her I would need a box. She agreed that I needed a box and went to get it. Im not sure why she felt the need to agree or converse with my partner only - it was just simply the rudest service Ive had since arriving here. I had already had a horrible day at work. It was just rude. And I wouldnt say it was her outright flirting but it was offensive and she blatantly did not speak to me or allow me to speak. It felt AWFUL. I also took a while to leave a review because I didnt want to leave it while I was upset and offended at her behavior.I will never be returning to this establishment.
Mongolian BBQ
440 Colusa Ave, Yuba City, CA 95991, United States
This was my first time going to this place, if you carryout you have to pay first, I got 3 bowls $34. You can only take one bowl per visit to the grill, keep this in mind when ordering to go. The meat is frozen so if you want anything else only put a few pieces of meat (which is probably their way of cutting cost). There were people in front and behind me using there hands to push the food down in the bowls provided, which was gross since these people had not washed their hands. There was a fly fighting people for the noodles and vegetables, so then I am swatting away flies, they used so much water until there is no taste to the food, I should not have to add anything to this food. The sad thing is all the 5 star reviews they get which pretty much tell them they do not need to improve anything from people who obviously do not know what this food should taste like. Just because people are nice does not mean you should not be honest. My advice if you go here is to go Vegan, eat all vegetables. They also add a scoop of white rice and an egg roll, which I did not want and was thrown out. This lady who looked pregnant ask me if she can go in front of me because she was only getting vegetables, well sorry for her they cooked it on the same grill as the meat, so unfortunately for her she ate meat. If you are a real vegetarian don't go here.
Marcellos Italian Restaurant
1235 Bridge St, Yuba City, CA 95991, United States
Superb service and beautiful restaurant but my salmon was dry and not worth the money. Soup was over priced and I was very disappointed. Paid $5 for a big hunk of potato with a spoonful of broth. Hubby liked his chicken parmigiana. Italian soda was good but don’t think I’ll be back. I was expecting the food to be delicious and I was disappointed on Valentine’s Day. Salmon and noodles were bland also.
Beach Hut Deli
1655 Colusa Hwy #400, Yuba City, CA 95993, United States
This place is HORRIBLEEEEEEE . Where do I start off, cashier was taking my order while literallly slobbering and wiping her mouth with her hands and then grabbing the screen and taking my credit card . While also touching her hair ?, I then needed napkins because apparently they don't wipe down the tables and their was a hair and previous food from other customers smfh . I asked for napkins and the employee was very rude & said I could grab them myself, after waiting for a 30 minute wait like they said, we waited over and hr . Customer came inside with our sandwiches bc they gave them to a wrong person, after all that bs they whispered with one another to just wrap my sandwiches and give them to me when one sandwich was opened a bitten down .this place needs to be closed down! Or some thing has to be done . It's disgusting ?. The girl preparing the sandwiches had her bangs all over her face grabbing her pants to wipe down whatever she touched . Bad bad place to go dine in !!!
