The best pho place around! The staff is extremely welcoming and are checking up on you throughout your meal.I got the number one (large pho). The broth is like nothing I've ever tasted before. It is simply perfection. Other reviews have said it and I'll repeat it; the broth doesn't need any salt, sauce or lemon - it is perfection just as it is!Ordered the large and felt like I ordered an extra large; you definitely get your money's worth.I'm usually not a meatball type of guy, but even that was delicious.Best pho I've had in California.Y'all deserve more than a 5 star review. Can't wait to be back in Fresno and eat here again.

One of the oldest southeast Asian restaurant in Fresno. Their food are very good. Only complaint is portion size and price. Other than that, all their dishes are really good. Worth trying this place out.

Ordered 200 lumpia and a half tray of pancit over the phone on May 31. Spent about 5 minutes discussing my order and info with a gentleman. He even gave me the total cost and confirmed the pickup time before hanging up. I've ordered the same way for 4 graduation parties since 2019 and have NEVER had a problem before. In fact, they always tell me that all they need is an hour advance notice. On the day of our party, June 1, my husband arrived at Jowli's at 3pm as confirmed. He was told that there was no order for me. He even gave them the details and cost. They had nothing and nobody there fessed up. They told him they would have it ready in 20 minutes if he still wanted it. He confirmed he still wanted it and agreed to the 20 minutes, but went to pick up our cake order in the meantime. When he came back, they told him that they did not start the order because they assumed he wasn't coming back. He then had to wait another 30 minutes with our cake in the car! They did give him a free small biko for the trouble. Our party started at 4pm and my husband did not arrive until 4:30pm. This has never happened before. They're usually very punctual with our order ready to go. This is the only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5. As usual, the lumpia, pancit, and biko were delicious.

I've been ordering here for 5 years since I first moved to Fresno. The old place burned down and they move to new location that so far away from me but I'm still kept coming back. Tonight I wanted to enjoy Lao food with my family but Got disappointed big time. I wanted 4 packs of chicken sticky rice and The server Will went to the chicken shelves, selecting which pack to give me. I didn't understand why. When I got to my family we realized that the chicken had been cooked and warmed 3 times instead of the fresh one that cook 1 time. They were dried, tasteless. I spend $58 for bad food. Felt Like you eating cardboard paper. It was at 5 pm this was the horrible experience. The reason I keep coming back was the quality of the food. They didn't only bumped up the price but also selling low grade quality food to make big profits. As a consumer we should boycott this scam or we will soon eating scrap from restaurant like this.

Alright! Another Honest Food Review. For those who dont know already, this is a Hmong restaurant that sells hmong food.Lets start with the drink. We ordered the Nam Vam, and my wife loved it, and of course, my kids loved it as well. Always a kid fan favorite with the honey/ syrup and tapioca like noodles. The catfish with sticky rice was delicious as well, soft and very flavorful with lots of aromas coming from all the greens that it was cooked with, also the spiciness is perfect!Sticky rice and Hmong sausage are good as well. The only thing I would change or complain about would be the pepper sauce that it comes with. It is spicy but doesnt compliment the sausage when eating it all together, Id rather just get the sweet sauce instead.Steam rolls were delicious. Everything about them were perfect to me, from the taste to the consistency of the roll itself to how much meat is supposed to be in it was very well balanced. Also, a small touch is how they were made. Instead of being folded like most, these were rolled, and that made a difference to me.Eggrolls were something else. The first thing that you will notice is the glistening shine that the eggrolls have when you see the eggroll. Also, the smell will remind you of churros, so the first bite and smell will throw you off thinking you are eating a churro. Another thing would be the crispness that the eggroll had was perfect! When you take your first bite, you will notice that its crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, like how it should be. Most eggrolls have a crunch crunch when you eat them, but these were perfect and only had 1 crunch and then softness. It was perfect, and the sauce was perfect with the sweet sauce.Overall, its a great place with even outdoor dining, I would come back for sure to eat here, and they also cater food! So for sure, we will be back!

Never coming here ever again!!! I came in sat down ordered pho and asked for Basil which the lady said they don't have none. Then I went to pay at the register and a Asian person came up to the register next to me while I was paying and asked for basil then the same lady which is the owner gave him a plate of basil and looked at me and said sorry it has to last all day! I was like huh??? I asked as well and you told me there wasn't any but you gave it to them.. This was my 1st time here and was trying to support small businesses in my area.

I absolutely love this place!!! The pho ? here is amazing. My mouth waters while waiting to be served ? . We are always greeted as soon as we walk in the door and even when we decide to do takeout instead of dining-in they offer us a cup of iced water while we wait. This is the only place that I know where they offer crushed peanuts as a topping for your pho ?. The crushed peanuts make this place memorable and to experience pho ? with nuts ? in it is just a game changer for me. ?We ordered 3XL bowls of beef pho? to go and served 6 Adults plus my 7yo daughter. We also grabbed 3 orders of Spring Rolls equaled one for each Adult and an order of their mixed Chow Mein ?.
