Just want to let anyone who reads this that the food is good, and the wait staff was pleasant. The reason this isnt a 5 star review is that we feel we were ripped off and lied to. The menu we were brought (and Im rounding to the nearest dollar here), stated that our dishes were going to be $13, and our drinks would be $2: theres two of us, so that wouldve been $26+$4=$30 before tax. The bill came, and it was $36+$15=$51 before tax... thats about 66% more than we expected! I get the inflation / supply reasons, but nowhere on the menu was there an attempt to update prices or maybe something to tell customers to add $5 to everything. Waitstaff didnt warn us when passing out the menus that the prices had gone up from what was listed. That wouldve made a difference...we wouldve stuck with water and saved $15 from the two glasses of tea! We wouldve gone back a few more times while were in the area; because the food is good, spicy, and decent portions...too bad about the lies of omission and the ripping off though ?

The couple that own this market treat you like family. Theyre attentive, caring, and enjoy to talk to me. Quite easy to befriend them!!!Food is wonderful (both packaged and cooked) and at an awesome price! Ordered a small bowl of Noodles for around $6 and was filled to the brim! The place was full but I didnt need to wait more than at least 5 minutes for my delicious food.Customers here are polite and its nice to see the locals :)Nice place to go during lunch break, after school, or with friends and family.They restock daily and bring in new foods every once in a while. Shelves are never bare and nothing is ever torn open or old.

One of the best Asian restaurants Ive ever been to! Grew up 18 years in San Francisco and Berkeley, travel to Southeast Asia once every three years so I think I can confidently say the food here is very good and authentic. Reasonably priced, big portions and tastefully spicy. I will stop here every time I pass by.
