Wang Cho BBQ All You Can Eat
3608 S Bristol St, Santa Ana, CA 92704, United States
My friend and I decided to try out this restaurant for the first time. Ive been to many different Korean BBQ places before, but I have to say that I was really let down by the service, food, and cleanliness of this particular restaurant. It felt like a sit, order, eat, and leave kind of place. We had to cook our own food, which is not what Im used to. Usually, at the other Korean BBQ places Ive been to, the servers or waitresses would cook the food for us, especially if it was our first time, to ensure we had the best experience. But that wasnt the case here. The servers and waitresses didnt engage in any small talk or check in on us to try and establish a connection with the customers. The meat was just okay, but the stew was completely tasteless. It felt like I was eating watered-down stew instead of something flavorful (we ordered the tofu stew and another item). And dont even get me started on the state of the bathrooms. They were so dirty that it almost made me sick. Almost every toilet was clogged, except for one. I understand that the restaurant was busy and short-staffed, but its important to regularly and frequently check and clean the restrooms, as well as ensure that the toilets are working properly. If they couldnt fix the issue, they should have at least put up a sign or notice saying that the bathroom was closed.Overall, for our first time at this restaurant, we were extremely disappointed with how we were treated, the lack of cleanliness, and the poor quality of the food. Thankfully, one of the managers gave us a discount, but it will be difficult for us to give this place another chance. We were truly shocked and left feeling very disappointed.

Nice and clean place with great authentic Korean food!! Service was awesome, which was a big plus ? Tried their spicy tofu soup and spicy pork. Both were delicious, and I loved all their banchan. We also got to try their fried tofu which was amazing! Im thrilled to have this new restaurant in my neighborhood and cant wait to visit again.
Brodard Express
Airport Terminal Services Inc, 18601 N Airport Way #205, Santa Ana, CA 92707, United States
My new favorite stop for a snack before flying out of John Wayne Airport. Brodards prepares dozens of little spring roll containers that you can pick up and take for under $10. Service is also quick and friendly - a small line shouldnt take too long to wait through. They have several spring roll options including a breakfast spring roll and eggplant, but the classic Grilled Pork Spring Rolls crunch factor and sweet, salty dip always hits the spot. While the baked goods and spring rolls are easily portable, there is plenty of seating to enjoy a full meal in this food court setting (by Gate 13) where Brodards Express sits.Their baked goods, which includes items like spinach feta pastry and croissants, is available right from the opening. If you need something heartier, Brodard Express also offers vermicelli bowls, salads, and rice dishes. Youve got plenty to choose from. For early travelers, only baked goods are available in the first hour of opening so bring a backup plan for breakfast or try out some bakery items. However, if youre looking for a meal after a long flight, this place closes shop by dinner time (6pm).Locals know the original restaurant located in the OC well, but for those of you who dont, you are in for a treat! It almost makes flying something I look forward to - almost :).
Kannappa Catering & Indian Restaurant
501 N Fairview St, Santa Ana, CA 92703, United States
Absolutely terrible experience with Kannappa Catering & Indian Cuisine. We ordered food, and it took over more than an hour to arrive, which completely ruined our dinner plans. When the food finally showed up, it was a far cry from what we expected.First, the quality was abysmal. The Idly, Parotta were dry, hard, overcooked. It tasted like it had been sitting out for hours, which considering the delivery time, wouldnt be surprising. To make matters worse, our order was incomplete! We were missing some items. This left some of us with nothing to eat, adding insult to injury.Overall, this was a complete disappointment. The food was inedible, the delivery was outrageously slow, and missing items just added to the frustration. I strongly advise anyone considering Kannappa Catering & Indian Cuisine to look elsewhere. There are far better options out there that can deliver a decent meal on time.
Pad Thai Restaurant
12620 Westminster Ave Ste.A, Santa Ana, CA 92706, United States
Not worth the amount of food for price. $18 for a lunch special with paid thai and shrimp. Literally $2 more for shrimp and i got 1 shrimp lol. The service was lousy and the place looked old and dingy. My food was sitting on counter I asked if that was my order and the gentleman said yes but you have to pay first. I was still waiting on my Thai Tea to be served. When I told him im going to pay he begin to raise his voice at me and gave me an attitude. I told him its not like im walking towards the door i simply asked if that was my food. Im paying with card. Not the customer service I was hoping for the first time being at this establishment with that customer service plus the food quality wasent that great I wont ever be back! Id rather save my money and go to another thai place. Was really hoping this place would Excel my expectations as it does have 4.9 reviews ...idk from where.
Cham Korean Style Food
1180 S Bristol St Ste 101, Santa Ana, CA 92704, United States
The menu has fantastic choices when it comes to Korean comfort food. Got the sweet and spicy fried chicken, seafood jjamppong, spam musubis and cheese tteokbokki. Everything was amazing with great seasoning. The ingredients were fresh, and had some of the best food I've had in a while. The restaurant is located inside of a food court, and is run by a friendly Korean-American couple. Highly recommend this spot, will be coming back often!
Koco Sushi
715 N Main St, Santa Ana, CA 92701, United States
Just went here for the first time tonight. I dont know of the other places to compare this place to, because were from out of town.Anyways, we went to dine in. There were 4 of us. A couple of people ordered sushi (Disney and blooming), I got the Koco BBQ mix plate, and my son got the salmon teriyaki bowl. The people who got the sushi said it was really good. My Koco BBQ mix plate was just their bowls but with a miso soup, and it was really good. My son also inhaled his salmon teriyaki bowl.We also ordered Boba. One person got the Thai Tea Boba, and I got the Taro. Both were really good. The service was good and the establishment was clean. The lady that seated us, took our order,They gave us complimentary edamame that was good, and Ive actually never had it before. It was a nice snack while waiting for them to fresh make our food, which does take a few minutes but totally worth it and preferred by us.
DIN KY RESTAURANT
5127 W Edinger Ave Suite D, Santa Ana, CA 92704, United States
**Din Ky Restaurant Review: A Mixed Experience**Din Ky Restaurant offers a range of Vietnamese dishes with a mixed experiences. The highlight of the menu, the Hu tieu, stands out as the better option among the offerings. Its flavorful broth and well-cooked noodles elevate the dish to a satisfying level. However, the Pho Ap Chao and Mien xao hai san leave much to be desired. While passable, they fall short of expectations, lacking the depth of flavor and texture one might hope for in such Vietnamese staples. One notable downside is the long wait times to have food served and to pay with cashier observed at the restaurant, especially during peak hours, which can make the overall dining experience less enjoyable. While Din Ky Restaurant shows promise with its Hu tieu, improvements are needed.
Nice Burger 100 Vegan - Santa Ana
1727 17th St, Santa Ana, CA 92705, United States
Good food, but horrific treatment of disabled people. They're listed as a drive through restaurant & they have a drive through, but I guess it's not in use all the time. I called the store 15 times to try to get help as I have virtually no use of my legs. I drive via paddles on my steering wheel & I do curbside & drive throughs only (on the rare occasion I'm out). Unfortunately I cannot afford an electric wheelchair or a new vehicle to accommodate one. When I got to the talk box I was told to come in to order like “everyone else” & explained I couldn't because I have no use of my legs & that I tried calling several times to get help. Was then told, “then you can go home & order online since you can't walk.” Really awesome to make me feel like nothing & refuse service based on a disability I can't help. As someone who wasn't always disabled I sort of knew how bad it was for people who weren't fully ambulatory, but my experiences after becoming disabled speak volumes. Totally degrading & disgusting behavior & not because I went over one short traffic cone, which being a traffic cone can't be damaged by that, & again thats after calling 15 times to get some help, but because I can't walk. Don't advertise your restaurant as a drive through if you refuse to let people use it & don't degrade someone for not having full use of their legs. Disgusting. Yeah I'm not ordering online or again from here period. You have to pay additional fees online & wait literal hours sometimes for delivery. I'm a human, & NOT a second class citizen wether you think so or not Nice Guys. The amount of times I called wouldn't even fit in the picture but you get the point.Edit: Just to bc clear I was still offered food despite goin past the cone, it wasn't til he learned of my disability I was told to leave. Also having worked in service industries I can say there is undoubtedly a graceful way to handle this. “I'm sorry no one answered the phone, we are just too slammed to help you at the drive through right now” Boom. You don't help me & I leave with some dignity. It's just basic human decency.
Bangkok Kitchen
136 W MacArthur Blvd, Santa Ana, CA 92707, United States
The staff here is AMAZING. I recently ordered egg rolls, pad Tai and their combo fried rice, upon getting home I realized they forgot the pad tai but they were super sweet and fixed it so I could pick it up. They even gave me a Thai tea for my trouble, which was super yummy! The pad Tai was really yummy especially with the chili sauce. It wasn't overly sweet which I feel like pad tai can be sometimes. The egg rolls were DELICIOUS, seriously I would go just to get a million orders of them. My friend said the fried rice was so so, I couldn't try it because of a shell fish allergy so I can't say much about it.(I will say I was a little bummed because Postmates says they have a combo of some of the dishes that come with egg rolls but they don't so just be aware of that when ordering!)
