Ok... Im giving this restaurant 5 stars in the optimistic hope that the small things improve .The food was very very good..the flavors were some of the best Ive tasted. The staff were super friendly and professional. The rice was fluffy and very tasty. The humus was incredible. And its a nice cozy place.Ok... things Id change tomorrow if I had my way.Make it a sit down service.. the idea of having a greeter at the front and then having to go to the back to order is not a good idea. The place is too small for that and when you guys start to get really busy... and you will .. this will be a major inconvenience, and a major bottle neck area.Serve side plates when customers share a 2 combo meal.Rule number 1 of every restaurant, ALWAYS offer alcohol... ALWAYS.Move the trash can and the take out containers away from customers line of sight.Get rid of the 3.5% CC fee. Incorporate it in your menu if you wish.. but stop making it a public display... physical money is dying out... this will put some people off. Now, they are still in a soft open state, so this might all be temporary.Things I wouldnt change... the food. The staff...perfect.This has already become my favourite place in Azusa to eat... solely because of flavours and Staff.
Taco Bell
800 E Alosta Ave, Azusa, CA 91702, United States
Update: I went to go order inside and the door was locked at 8:23 a.m. 6/6/2022. I waited outside because I had to explain to my son that we couldnt go in, and several minutes later someone finally came to open the door. They open at 8. After I myself at the POS screen I went to sit, and there was cheese and other food debris all over. If it wasnt even open yet, then did they not clean the night before? This is the literal worst Taco Bell Ive ever been to in my life. The cashier gets my order wrong every single time, and I know its always the cashiers mistake. The first time was in the drive thru. I told him I wanted two sausage crunch wraps, but he entered bacon. So I let him know the screen was incorrect, and he said hed fix it and ask what else I wanted. So I continued ordering, per his request, and at the end the crunch wraps were still bacon on the screen. So I let him know again, and he YELLED at me saying hed make sure they were sausage. I totally got scared and just paid, took the food, and tried to check if it was sausage before leaving but couldnt open them without destroying them. So went home, my boyfriend and I both bit into them, and BACON. So I took them back and he didnt even apologize for yelling at me or making the obvious mistake of not entering in the correct item. The second time my boyfriend ordered drive thru. Different cashier, now female. He ordered two breakfast boxes and asked to substitute the hash brown with the cinnamon bites. She told him he couldnt substitute them, which seemed wrong because you can substitute it in any other meal and there was an option to substitute it on the self-order screen inside (when we were smart enough to make our own orders previously). So he just ordered extra cinnamon bites to go with the hash browns. He came home, and there were no hash browns at all. Now were both wondering if the employees are untrained or just incompetent.

I recently became vegetarian! After searching on google for nearby vegetarian restaurants, I found a vegetarian restaurant in EL Monte -The bento from Mede Su Zhai?, the food is delicious, the bento is super big, there are a lot of vegetables, and its still five-grain rice! The price is affordable! It’s really suitable for people who don’t like cooking but still want to eat!??????I also particularly like their fried rice noodles, fried rice and bamboo shoots! It’s really fragrant and delicious! ! ! Slobber!I recently started to be a vegetarian! Taco Bell
1410 S Azusa Ave, West Covina, CA 91791, United States
Made a mobile order to pick up in store and someone stole my food. Its not my first time making an in store pickup from here, but my first time getting my food stolen. Other taco bells Ive ordered from put the food behind the counter, ask you for your name, then give you your order. This place just leaves the orders out on a shelf in front, where theres often no one manning the register. Out of the 3+ times Ive ordered from there, no one is ever in front and someone can easily swipe mobile orders. It was only a matter of time for one of my orders to get stolen.I had to pay twice for my order and was told to take up the issue with the app/corporate. If youre going to make mobile orders from here, pick up from the drive thru. If not, your food is left unattended in the front and can easily be taken.
Pieology Pizzeria
962 E Alosta Ave, Azusa, CA 91702, United States
I love the pizza here, you can have them build the pizza any way you want down to the sauce. Split it into two different types or ever four. I usually eat half by myself & the other half later but unlike other pizza places you dont feel heavy & gross afterwards, it leaves you feeling full but energetic. The staff is always friendly & accommodating, the ingredients always look fresh & colorful. The only downside is that it can be pretty loud in there so you may have to repeat yourself but the staff will double check with you & you can add extra of any items. & now with whole wheat crust available or ever gluten free this place is definitely my choice when Im craving pizza, they definitely deserve the 5 stars Ive never had a bad experience there & Ive been visiting them at least twice a month since they opened.

I love Middle Eastern/Mediterranean food. Fortunately, the San Gabriel Valley is blessed with a number of simple neighborhood restaurants. Some are better than others, but overall, the quality is generally acceptable to quite good. Aladdin Jr. is a new entrant to the field, and it's a good one!The menu contains all the expected favorites, plus a few less well-known dishes. My wife started with “Large Cold Appetizer Combo” — Hummos, Tabbouley, Babaghanouj, and Stuffed Grape Leaves, but the restaurant kindly substituted Fattoush for the Tabbouley. Large is an appropriate description for this Combo. We had leftovers of almost everything. More importantly, each dish was terrific, and most were subtly different than similar offerings in other restaurants. We also ordered Chicken and Beef Empanadas, which were surprisingly good. I ordered the Falafel wrap, and it was equally good. The pita was huge and stuffed with all the goodies. The service was at least as good as the food. The small staff was professional, attentive, and quite friendly.Aladdin Jr. is new, and I encourage everyone to try it. I am confident you will enjoy your visit.
Satu Thai Bistro
160 Sierra Madre Ave, Azusa, CA 91702, United States
Update 9/28/20What can I say that I haven't already. Stellar food and better service. From pick up, delivery and dine in. Always great. This time was pick up and the food and service was just as good as always. My GF and i prefer different spice levels and she doesn't like onions, scallions or tomatoes so we are always customizing our orders. What impressed me is they have never messed up an order. We've even gone to two different spice level for the salad dressing and they always accommodate. As for the food this trip, it was delicious. It's been a month or so since our last trip due to the pandemic, so the food just tasted even better than we remember. Will have to make sure not to wait so long before the next trip.———————One of the best Thai places I have ever been too. Flavors are amazing and service impeccable. Go to dishes are the spicy Beef Salad and Penang Curry, but have tried many others and all were great. Only mistake I've ever made was to order items spicy which is something they take serious. I've had to adjust to Med Spicy which is perfect for most and then can kick it up when needed with their spicy sauces. The one with green chiles is fire. When you dine in, they also give you a small serving of ice cream which always hits the spot.
Caf Tizn

It all started last night. I woke up around 3 AM. dreaming of having the perfect bowl of MenudoUnfortunately, it wasn't realThen I woke up this morning, knowing that I had a purpose…I had to turn this dream into reality. I didn't know how but I knew today was the day. I did my regular morning routine made it to work and then around 11:35 AM today I got hungry I began to hunt for the right restaurant then I stumbled across this place,What caught my eye at first in the menu was that they sold tamales hereI was shook impressed and baffled, but relievedI had found a place I had found my purpose I walked in around 2:13 PM. I ordered a bowl of Menudo with a side of one Tamale.Around 2:25 PM I received my food the service was fast and they made me feel at home reminded me when I was back in MexicoMichoacán,As I was finishing my bowl and I took the last spoonful I then knew my life was complete. I was filled with joy, happiness, fulfillment, hope, gratefulness.I would 110,000% recommend this place.
Pizza Cart
9578 Lower Azusa Rd, Temple City, CA 91780, United States
This place is the best. I drive from East L.A. to pick up my order. I use to go to East L.A. Pizza Co. but they were rude and didnt try to accomodate a request for a couple slices of pizza so that was the lat time for that place. These guys wilk hook you up and at resonable prices might I add. . I recommend the Fettucine Alfredo, Antipasto salad, Pepperoni Pizza, Spaghetti with Meatballs, heck I recommend the whole menu. So if your the mood for some awesome italian food and homeade authentic pizza stop by Pizza Cart. Believe me, worth the drive and the gas used to get there. Forgot to add very, very, hospitable and respectful staff. Great buch of guys working there.
Tacos El Superior
700 E Alosta Ave, Azusa, CA 91702, United States
Tacos El Superior replaced our go to spot for carne asada nachos combined with the fact I'm not a fan of the beef birria fad (I prefer the OG goat birria), it took a long time to try them out.Anyway, a craving for nachos and an errand at a nearby UPS store and here we are. Ordered the asada nachos and a Al pastor taco and was pleasantly surprised. Nachos we basic. Cheese sauce, not shredded, some asada and cilantro as we held off on the onions. Sour cream and guac was missing from my GF's perspective, but was just right in my opinion. Thankfully we had sour cream and an avocado at home for her :) The Al pasta had decent flavor and edible, but clearly not from and trompo. The pineapple pieces was a nice touch though.Best surprise was the salsas. Red was really spicy, but tasty and the green full of flavor. When I saw the salsa “policy”, it reminded me of King Taco. When I tasted the salsas, it confirmed it. All good for me though. Menu's not identical, but they are closer when I have the craving. The asada here is tastier, so that much more reason to come back. Service was top notch at the drive through as well. Will have to try a few more menu items and will update my review accordingly. For now, thumbs up ?
