GOOD FOOD! We ordered Three Cheese Spinach tikki, Akbari Paneer curry & Tandoori Naan. All vegetarian. We went in the evening exactly at the time when the restaurant was just opened. So felt like booking the entire space just for for us. The taste was good. I wanna try buffet here.

Was there on June 29, 2024. Ordered vegetarian Bryani. Cooked very poorly and irresponsibly. They left pits from apricots that I could have cracked my tooth on. There was other debris in the box that was totally ignorant not to remove. According to most cook books or just common sense your supposed to remove apricot pits from the dish prior to cooking and also supposed to put large unedible spices into a satchel or tea bag too bad and remove it prior to serving to customers! Was mostly rice and seemed to be cooked by someone that was lazy and ignorant! I should have returned it for a 100% refund after biting into the nasty pit ! Total lamers ! The inside of restaurant was also Greasy and dirty. Menus were poorly written, and hard to understand . very unprofessional restaurant. Not worth what they charge . I’ve been to Indian buffets for what they charged me for a small dish ! Very insulting and not worth what they charged ! Also dangerous ! These guys are clueless! Tasted very bad and bitter. Got a stomach ache from eating this trash!

Again!!!! My family decided to have sandwi hes for dinner tonight....we decided on ikes...hmmm not a good idea....at least this one...we walked in and no greeting...okay...looked at the menu...decided and waited to be acknowledged...............2 women came in they were greeted before the door closed, serviced and they sat down...a woman came in with a to go order & she got greeted and serviced all while my daughter & I stood patiently waiting.......I told my daughter to come so we can spend our money some where else....Now for Carla or the woman working right now around 6pm ish...she was the rudest...checking her phone......also not looking to make sure we were ready...which we were...I guess we were treated this way because of our skin....Unless she can tell me why I watched her look at my daughter then check her phone then help the woman that walked up2 the counter where my daughter was already waiting....????? Let your$$$ talk...will not recommend to anyone...

I really wanted to like this place. I was excited when my friend sent me the choice for Sunday Lunch. The Online reviews were positive, the menu looked promising and COVID protocols seemed up to par.I arrived to a semipleasent hostess asking the party ahead of me for proof of vaccination and ID. I was not asked when it was my turn to check in. I was texted right when I stepped away. I was escorted inside again without being asked for Vaccination or ID cards. I informed the hostess seating me that one in my party was not fully vaccinated and asked to be seated outside (their policy).I am seated outdoors waiting and watch as the tables surrounding me are seated as well. I wait patiently a whole 30 mins before a hostess rushes by with drinks for a table seated after me. I ask her if I can get someone to the table to order our drinks. She comes back asking for our drink order stating she isnt a waitress but shell get us our drinks while the place us with a server.We order two Malibu Peach, only for her to come back and inform us they dont have the ingredients to make it. We order a Pineapple Express and Mango Mojito. Both were flavorful and refreshing. A waiter comes and takes our appetizer order I ordered the Shitake Garlic Noodles (BOMB! by far my favorite dish of the day)My friend orders the Fried Calamari (she said were delicious),its now been an hour and ten mins from the time I arrived, the surrounding tables that were seated after me now have their food. We put in our entree orders at the Sametime as appetizers, of course the now new waitress comes to inform us the order is taking longer than expected but would be out shortly. 20 mins later my main course comes out, I ordered the Steak mashed and broccoli with shrimp (The shrimp had no flavor, the steak was decent although I was famished by this time, the mashed and broccoli were the best things on the plate) . My friend ordered the Korean steak sandwich (she described it as Not bad, pretty good).There were several flies and a bee so we werent able to enjoy the meal. We rushed to eat a bit and asked for Togo boxes. Our bill came out to $113 after the manager approved a $20 reduction coded as a family discount for the inconvenience. I was even disappointed at this considering the amount of money we spent and experience we had.I gave 2 stars for the flavors and $20 dollars.Super disappointed this wasnt as positive as I hoped for. Perhaps if I had a different complexion my experience would have been different.

Recently (in past 7 or so DAYS) they got a new or reapired roof. I feel bad for those that were there when the roof leaked on them while they ate at the restaurant, but my fiance and I have had no complaints in the last 12 months. We ordered take out and experienced the leaky roof too. We felt bad that it was happening to them. We werent upset by it, but we, never judge a book by its cover, or by the first few pages. We have never sat in the restaurant, however we are not that couple that wants to eat at a restaurant. All that aside we have always been 100% pleased with our orders. I was even late picking up an order, but they thought they did something wrong and compensated us with a free side of green beans; very well done if I may add. If you want to support your local businesses please give New Lims Garden a try. I placeed an order while I was in Vallejo and coming to town because THEY ARE THAT GOOD! Other places are also very expensive and the food met less than our expectations. NEW LIMS GARDEN is reasonably priced with very satisfyingly good food without the extra heaviness we have experienced else where. Its ready quickly, but if youre not ready when they tell you it will be ready TELL THEM! It is worth it. Today they told me my order would be ready in 15 mins. I told them I was 25 minutes away and asked if they could make the food then. They did, it was hot, fresh, and ready. CONCORD please give them a chance. Previous visitors give them a second chance ? We are loyal to New Lims Garden.

This evening at 6:50pm 4/11/2021, I went through the drive through at the Clayton Road location and asked when ordering if they had the cheesy quesalupa cravings box still.. I was told no. That they only had meals with the cheesy quesalupa. I pulled to the window and decided to ask again. The girl working the window told me that they do indeed and asked the young man that took my order why he told me that they don't. He said I didn't order a box. I told him the first thing I asked was if you still had the carvings box with the cheesy quesalupa. That was the whole reason for me going here. Not only did I not get a box but another girl that brought the food up started telling I didn't know what I was ordering.. I told her I clearly did if I was asking for it.. all three of the employees started arguing with me about I'm not getting a box, even though that is what I was wanting. This restaurant has sadly gone downhill in the last few months. Every poor customer service. I used to be a customer service manager, what happened to making an adjustment in price and make sure I pay for and receive what I was actually wanting to get in the first place. That is all I was wanting.. but instead all customer service went out the window unprofessionalism took over all 3 employees. Sadly I will not return. I was trying to get a quick dinner for my son and I after a really long day at work. All I got was disappointment in a bag.

This establishment was really cool and the people working there were extremely nice. I got nothing but positive vibes from this staff and they were also more than happy to let me eat my food there even though it was around closing time and while many other businesses will try to kick you out the door as quick as possible… Or just trying to have a “ Hurry up and buy” attitude like many other places have, then act like they are entitled to your business.They didn't bring any of that type of attitude towards me when I went over there and it's something that can most definitely be appreciated Considering that nowadays most businesses that I visit in California have an extremely bad attitude right from the rip after walking in the door… Especially when they see me with a backpack. On, my travels.Businesses who constantly do this should develop a reputation for doing such just so other people know who exactly they are dealing with and we can all work together to take out the trash?

This place is a diamond in a rough part of Concord. Its been a long time since Ive found a place that enters my thoughts and makes my stomach growl almost every day. Fortunately for The Corner Kitchen, I have an addictive personality and theyve caused an itch that must be scratched regularly! Mushroom Swiss Slider w/extra sauce.....its stellar!, Blue Slider w/extra sauce, extra blue and bacon!....out of this world! Ive tried others.....but these are my faves and probably all Ill order from now on....lol. Theyre fries are excellent as well! I ate there yesterday and as soon as Ive finished this review....im gonna place an online order and go pick it up. If I were single....I could see myself eating here everyday like the guy on Bobs Burgers....lol. The staff is friendly and communicative (just dont call in asking why their burgers are so small...lol) and are always smiling. I highly recommend EVERYONE try this place out. And if for some reason you dont like it.....well....the problem is obviously yours, you suck, because The Corner Kitchen freaking rocks!
