One of my all time favorite places already.The day before a surgery my doctors told me not to eat past a certain time. I chose this place and I chose right.Their Pad Thai is amazingly made. Its so flavourful. Makes me jealous because I cook pad Thai all the time!And of course I had to buy the $5 mega sized Thai Boba tea. It was so sweet and delicious, but honestly take the size into account. It had a handle for me to carry it!You can tell they care about their restaurant as its always very clean and well furnished. It was even themed out in February as we approached valentines day.Well, after a good experience of course I had to come back. I reminisced with their Pad Thai and also ordered the Tom Kha. The pad Thai did not miss and the Tom kha was delectable.The seafood Tom kha was served, as pictured, in a heated pot where I could scoop out what I needed into a bowl. I personally like to order white rice to eat it with.I had it at a 4 just to have a slight spicy flavour but it did not over power. I enjoyed its silky coconut flavor.Thai Thai is all about the details. Their rice is served in heart shapes and their plain waters look presentable along with the rest of their decor. This place does very well. I plan on coming back to explore their menu.

A must visit Thai place when you come to Oceanside. A very quaint yet amazing place to come to, if you love Thai food. This is our second visit to Oceanside as well as the restaurant and it has once again made us very happy with their food and service. We had their spicy rice balls, spicy drunken noodles and Ginger perfect stir fry. I am just in love with their Ginger perfect stir fry. The perfect combination of veggies, tofu and ginger. Any item on their menu is amazing and they have a wide variety of options for vegetarians.

Great portion sizes that match the pricing for freshly cooked food is a win win. The environment could be improved by replacing the hard chairs with those with slightly more cushion. Id rather not view employees sitting in dining area playing games rather use the back room for break time. When the employees spring up to help this gives the impression the customer is interrupting their break. Otherwise the soup is good along with several other dishes we have experienced here at this location. For example the Orange chicken is not overpowering sweet and is served with steamed rice. This portion size like most is enough for two persons. The chilled water dispenser is ready with regular sized cups verses the small stingy Styrofoam cups most businesses offer customers is saavvsvsvinviting. Not only says serve yourself but come back we value our customers by using time efficiently preparing orders. The food is cooked fresh verses sitting under a heat lamp for who knows how long like at other places that have a panda to advertise and disappoint with overpriced small portions. In contrast to most dine ins Here the patron has a choice to sit along counter space and view the chefs cooking process. If the meal isnt finished this makes for take out or next day lunch which they gladly provide boxes for.

The food there is great and always good and not a very long wait time unless you are unliked by the main lady manager and one guy employee who mainly works drive-thru but sometimes front counter he is VERY VERY rude, Im sorry for anyone who encounters or has to deal with him. I personally think he shouldnt work there because of his attitude and lack of nice/great customer service.I recently had an incident that occurred within this last week.Me and my fiance always go here and we decided to go and have lunch one day and we just got there and I was smoking a cigarette which I was basically done with but finishing before I went in there which my fiance was already in there sitting down so as I was about to put it out and head inside he abruptly swung the door open with 1000% anger face almost beat red and rudely raised his voice at me saying word for wordYOU GUYS CANT DO THAT, YOU CANT SMOKE OUT OF MY STORE, YOU GUYS NEED TO LEAVE NOW!!!Well lets keep in mind theres not one sign stating no smoking once so ever and secondly saying you guys when it was just me was absolutely absurd.While he was basically yelling this to me there was another customer not too far from me smoking and he said not one word to her and pretty much all of their cooks smoke as well.We were so upset because we didnt even get the chance to order anything and we were starving. So I went inside to go tell my fiance because he didnt talk to him either so I had to tell him that we got kicked out and have to leave while I was doing so the main manager was counting the register and constantly slamming anything and everything that she possibly could and didnt even say 1 word to the employee who pretty much scolded me for absolutely no reason.If those 2 employees werent there this place would be absolutely awesome and 100% have more customers because the 2 of them drive away the majority of people who want to come there.Lastly this is the only place I have ever heard of charging almost $1.00 for a very small cup of water to select customers that is and when they do that sometimes they will shut off the entire drink machine.. so youll pay for a cup of water to not be able to get any because the machine is shut off. Completely Wrong on their part.So if you do decide to go there be careful because you might encounter or have a similar incident happen to you.Be cautious everyone.

The only drawback is the lack of dine-in space—it's strictly takeout or delivery. Nevertheless, the quality and value make it an unmissable treat for any Indian food lover.

If you want Indian food that go the distance, the Tikka Masala Hut hits the spot. The new restaurant at Oceanside CA, is an unpretentious romp into the rustic joys of North Indian (Punjabi) food. From savory samosas and piping hot tea to saag, chaats, spicy paneer bhurji and dal palak with ghee tadka, it’s a beacon of comfort that those-in-the-know come back to on repeat. Their stuffed parathas (aloo, gobi, etc) are freshly made and is a throwback to my childhood in India. There are no fancy white tablecloths, instead there is a simple, but flavor-packed, menu of hearty (more of vegetarian than non-vegetarian) Punjabi fare.

We are Oceanside locals and have been patiently waiting for a Himalayan restaurant to open in our town.Theyve only been open for 6 days but theyve left a great impression on us. The service was fantastic and the food was full of spices and flavors which are hard to find around here.We ordered a goat curry (not pictured), garlic Naan, butter Naan, Chicken Momo, and Lamb Sekuwa, a himilayan specialty.My wife asked for the goat curry to be spicy and she was not disappointed. She told me when shes craving goat curry this will be her new go-to place. The spices inside the curry was a perfect blend. Sometimes when ordering curries it tastes like it was just the curry powder. Not this place. You can tell some love was put into it.I ordered the lamb. I believe it had been marinating due to the skewer holes gone right through the middle along with the intense flavors for such an unassuming piece of meat. I loved it and so did my daughter. It was cooked perfectly; not overcooked or undercooked. The slightly caramelized bed of onions it was sitting on had such epic flavors which embodied the entire plate. I added a squirt of lemon which came with the plate and it definitely set it over the top in the best way possible.My wife and I shared a plate of chicken momo, a favorite of ours when going to Himalayan food. There was a home made sauce in the middle which went great with it. It was so delicious we put it on our Naan bread too! We asked for some of the sauce to go because of how delicious and unique it was.The two Naan breads were standard for Naan weve had in the past. Tasty and meant to compliment the main courses.We got to meet the head cheff and, I am assuming, owner. He was very friendly and we learned he has been cooking professionally for over two decades. You can definitely tell because each dish was plated beautifully and the flavors were epic.We are happy this place opened up in Oceanside and I hope it gets more customers as word grows. They deserve it.The prices are very pre-inflation.Once Oceaside approves their beer and wine license, we will definitely be regulars here. Nothing beats a Taj Mahal beer with Himilayan food
