Taco Bell
2700 Geer Rd, Turlock, CA 95382, United States
Let me just say this- I have been going to the same Taco Bell my whole life, and over the last few months I have been so incredibly impressed with how amazing this place has been. There's a guy who works there- his name is Cooper, and he is by far the best customer service worker out there. He is so kind, attentive, and is very thorough when taking orders. Every single time I go through the drive through and I hear his voice I'm elated. He is fantastic. Cooper is what brings this Taco Bell to another level. I also work in food customer service, so I know how hard it is, and he is the prime example of what our companies want us to be. He's the workers we see in commercials, the ones we believe don't actually exist, the ones I didn't believe existed until I went through that drive through and experienced that fantastic of service.
Papa Murphys Take N Bake Pizza
2926 Geer Rd, Turlock, CA 95382, United States
I have to say I was very disappointed with my order. I ordered our usual pizza a family size chicken & bacon stuffed crust when I got it home, it was not even the correct pizza. I should have noticed when I picked it up, but I also picked up other items as well and since that was the biggest item it was on the bottom. When we put it in the oven, we noticed that the top looked different than usual - but figured maybe they are cutting back on their toppings? When we cut into it after baking, it was NOT a chicken and bacon! It had spinach and ham and other items not found in our usual pizza. I have to say I will probably not go back to this location. The only reason I did was because I was in Turlock. I will stick with the location on Hatch, they have never made the WRONG pizza for me!

My parents have served Turlock area for 9 years. The first time when they opened, they were thinking about only a couple of years working. Then thanks to employees from the market next door. Because of you guys, she started to feel good about feeding young employees as a mother herself. Of course, other customers and college students. Tbh, they are over 70 years old, but they kept it going an extra couple of years for people who supported them and gave her the best feeling by encouraging others to try. We had some ignorant people who had no idea what is really going on and how old they were, complaining about they werent the same as Bay Area korean restaurants. F those people. As a son, I really really appreciate from the bottom of my heart for the people who supported my parents and enjoyed my mothers food. Thank you, and my mother felt really sad when they had to shut down. If she could, she would do whatever she could do to feed people. Thank you, Turlock
Tandoori Pizza

I can't speak for the food itself as I never got to try it. I was so excited so I am pretty bummed about this experience. I saw signs promoted for their all you can eat lunch buffet 11am-2pm for 9.99 or 10.99 with a drink. My husband meets us there for his lunch break at noon (assuming the buffet should be cooked and ready to eat since it began at 11am) We chose this because we assumed it would be the quickest being that it's a buffet and the food should be available. But no, it's empty. I ask how it works and she shows me the menu as says to pick what kind of pizzas. We're hesitant because of time and she reassured us it only takes ten minutes to cook. We get our fountain drinks (with no ice, because they didn't have any) and we sit and wait. After About 10 minutes a large party of 8 come in for the buffet, then another party of 5. 5 minutes after that they come out with ONE 8inch pizza. Literally of about maybe 6 small slices. A few people get up and the pizza is pretty much gone. So I then ask them for a refund because there's no way we're going to actually have time to eat during our lunch break at the rate, size of pizzas, and amount of people all waiting for pizzas. We were a party of 4 plus the additional 13. They try to tell us they can't refund and say they're going to have 4 pizzas total at a time on the warmer. But these are literally personal size pizzas for an all you can eat buffet! I had to explain to them how that wasn't going to work and finally he started processing the refund. But not before saying that we had already served our drinks which we had left full on the table… so I just told him to keep the $4 price difference. He then says “you will get your refund back eventually” which did not feel reassuring at all so I asked for a receipt. Hopefully I receive it!
West Coast Sourdough - Turlock
3210 W Monte Vista Ave, Turlock, CA 95380, United States
I visited this shop for the first time today and Ill definitely go back. I ordered a large Greek salad and replaced the ham with chicken. They were happy to accommodate the request. The salad was delicious and a nice portion size with lots of the topping type stuff (feta, olives, artichoke hearts...). The two people working there could not have been more polite and they made sure I had a few slices of a fresh baked baguette which was insanely good. Prices are great for what you get. The place was spotless which is always a great thing. Its a definite yes for me.
Cafe Rome
144 S 1st St, Turlock, CA 95380, United States
This a great cafe; a unique hybrid of coffee shop and Mexican restaurant! I had the lavender honey latte and it was superb! I read that they make their own flavored syrups here and you can really taste the quality ingredients and the care that goes into crafting their beverages and dishes. I also enjoyed the breakfast crepe with it's 3 breakfast meats, cheese, eggs, and spinach it was the perfect balance between hearty and filling but not overly heavy. My husband also found his chicken chipotle crepe and rose latte delicious. I am eyeing several more menu items and can't wait to return and try more beverage flavors and their Mexican food lunch menu. The only drawback is this cafe is in a rather sketchy part of town flanked by borded up buildings but the cafe itself is wonderfully warm and inviting. Cute, eclectic decor with memorabilia from several different cultures and entertainment genres as well as a lot of faux plants and interesting light fixtures. Plenty of elbow room inside to dine but still a cozy feel. The service was great; we had our food within 10 minutes and the staff was super friendly. Would recommend and dine again!
Villa Napoli Restaurant
1102 Geer Rd, Turlock, CA 95380, United States
Hands-down 5 stars. This quaint little restaurant is the best Italian food Ive ever eaten (at a restaurant, that is)!!!! Im Italian and grew up with a very particular taste for Italian food.Agreeing with Mellisa C., if youre into Olive Garden, youre in the wrong place. This is a truly amazing and romantic experience and to compare it to Olive Garden would be a sin.I grew up (since 5th grade) in Turlock and lived right around the corner from this place. I always wondered how they were. When I first came here I found out it was new owners. They had just opened about 3 minutes before I showed up, so the experience was definitely one of a kind. I met the owner and shes the biggest sweetheart Ive ever met. My girlfriend and I were greeted with a big hug.On your table you will find bottles of Olive Oil (looks too light to be extra virgin :/ ) and Balsamic vinegar.Combining those together in the traditional style along with Villa Napolis wonderful bread that you cant get enough of amounts to pure bliss.I ordered my normal- Chicken Parmigiana. It was to die for. The chicken was properly breaded and super moist. My girlfriend ordered the Ravioli Aurora (I think its called) and it was absolutely divine.Hand-made excellent food at a reasonable price. Those who say any different are mad. The service can be hit or miss, but the nirvana of this restaurant makes any downside worth it. Plus, when you meet Mama, youll fall in love with her! I had the pleasure of meeting her husband, the chef as well. They make you feel like youre in their dining room, and treat you as guests.
Gyros & More
3160 Countryside Dr, Turlock, CA 95380, United States
I very rarely if ever take the time of day to write reviews but this experience was life changing like actually. I had the plate with a ground beef kabob and that delicious schwarma meat. Let me tell you something. eating that schwarma meat is so dang good itll make you have a flashback to your childhood like that scene with the reviewer from ratatouille. like fr it was THAT GOOD.On top of that you have a delicious ground beef kabob that was roasted over the grill so perfectly. on top of that you get a lot of delicious filler buttered rice that just compliments the whole dish perfectly and you get a huge portion. AND if that wasnt already enough, you get a nice wholesome salad all in one huge plate. Itll fill even the hungriest customers and feel like such a complete meal that youll find yourself like me cleaning the whole plate! everything has its place!I reserved my review because i wanted to give nami-no; their competitor a try and ill be honest. its awesome too. BUT the meal wasnt as complete as the one youll get here at gyros and more. and the pricing is a couple bucks less for these huge plates thats practically the same over there but no salad. you get roasted chili peppers and a whole tomato which is okay but should be like here and default with that salad.Nami-no is a 4.9 but gyros and more gets that little extra step ahead sitting at a SOLID 5 all day! From getting a complete meal, getting a chance to try that LIFE CHANGING SCHWARMA, or that price thats a little more on the reasonable side of things. These are the things that makes gyros and more THE GO - TO spot for some GREAT FOOD. will return :)
Figaros Pizza

My family and I went to Turlock for a family matter a few weeks ago. We looked up pizza parlors and decided on this place. Google did not disappoint! We ordered hot wings, potato wedges, drinks and 1 pizza. I don't remember the exact name of the pizza we chose. But I will be adding pictures. The wings were saucy with a perfect amount of seasoning and spice. With or without ranch they tasted incredible! Made my mouth drool just thinking about them right now. The wedges had a perfect crisp edges and soft centers. The toppings on the pizza were quite generous not skimped out at all! The bread was soft, firm at the bottom and the crust was awesome! Sauce and toppings are put almost all the way to the edge. Making it easy for non-crust lovers to eat it as well. The atmosphere was nice and clean. Very laid back vibes. If we go back to Turlock we will be visiting this restaurant again.
Patogh Restaurant
130 W Monte Vista Ave, Turlock, CA 95382, United States
I had a wonderful experience here with my mom, and besides the food being wonderful, the staff were wonderful too. I had kashk-e badamjan, dolma, beef soltani, and zereshk polo. The dolma (a filling wrapped in grape leaves and stewed) were my moms favorite and I loved the kashk-e badamjan (an eggplant dip made with dried, fried mint, fried onions, and topped with keshk, which is a salty fermented whey product, a Persian analog to yogurt). The beef soltani, which is tri-tip and koobideh (ground meat formed around a skewer and cooked) was very yummy and very generous. The chicken was perfectly cooked in the zereshk polo (a dish made with saffron and burberries - somewhat like a dried cranberry, sour and sweet) and very tender and juicy. .The service was on point as well. It was really soooo good. Its an awesome surprise to find such good Persian food in the valley!
