Honestly, this was one of the best meals Ive ever had.We did an 8-course tasting menu with cocktail pairing and everything about it was so unique, delicious and presented in such a elegant way.The crab and garlic noodles were excellent. On top of it the service is top notch.Do yourself a favor and have dinner here.

Bodhi Kosher Thai

Hi,my recent visit to Bodhi Kosher Thai left much to be desired, casting a shadow on what I had hoped would be a delightful dining experience.starting with the pineapple curry, I found it underwhelming, akin to a concoction of boiled water infused with coconut cream, accented with unripe pineapple chunks, green peppers, and a smattering of leaves - a medley devoid of any discernible flavor. the tofu, an integral component, seemed as if it was merely lifted from its container and introduced to the curry without the courtesy of seasoning, contributing nothing to the dishs flavor profile.the crispy spring rolls, too, fell short of expectations. their resemblance to frozen offerings from Trader Joes, hastily deep-fried in seemingly aged oil, was uncanny. the exterior was excessively crispy, betraying the mushy interior where the distinction between vegetables, whether naturally crunchy or soft, was lost in a uniform mushiness, detracting significantly from the eating experience.the veggie dumplings were passable but lacked any standout qualities that might incite a craving or a return visit.culinary expertise appeared absent in the dishes I sampled. creating such fare in ones kitchen, armed merely with a list of ingredients and basic culinary skills, would not be a stretch. dining out represents a desire for more than just sustenance; its a pursuit of culinary delight, an experience that justifies spending beyond the cost of ingredients. unfortunately, the fare at Bodhi Kosher Thai failed to meet these expectations, leaving one to question the justification for such a markup without delivering on taste.in sum, while the premise of Bodhi Kosher Thai holds promise, my experience was one of disappointment. for a venture into the realm of kosher Thai cuisine, the establishment would benefit from a reassessment of its culinary approach to truly honor its price point and its patrons palates.

La ong Beverly Hills
9632 S Santa Monica Blvd, Beverly Hills, CA 90210, United States
Location is 7/10. Right downtown Beverly Hill, so it is good to take walk and watch people after your meal if you can find a parking spot. Food 6.5 out of 10. Clean and well presented but tasted so-so. The larb (ground meat salad) is quite bland compared to the standard of this dish. The pad Thai is too sweet. The chicken wing dish is not seasoned enough, and tastes more like plain, generic deep fried chicken wing. Service is 8.5/10. Servers are polite and quick, although the dessert dish can take a while to make (15 minutes), but at least the staff tells you to order ahead if you want it. The price is 4.5/10. It is a bit overpriced for a Thai restaurant even for Beverly Hills standard. But the real downer is that they slam you with a 20% automatic gratuity charge on your check if you are a party of 6 or more. OK fair enough, even though I would tip 20% these days anyway, especially when I like the serving staff. What I have a problem with is they did not post it anywhere to inform you ahead. Not on the menu, not on the table, not from the staff. This gratuity charge is the establishment policy, not a tax. Therefore, it should be considered as part of the price, and you should be informed about that before you order.I will not come back and would recommend you drive a little bit further to Korean Town, China Town or Vietnamese Town to get better food for a lower price

Crustacean Restaurant Beverly Hills - Brunch, L...

I think I’ve done it. After being a massive foodie for years and trying so many different restaurants all over the world, I think I’ve found my new favorite restaurant. It’s Crustacean Beverly Hills, and it is everything I want in a restaurant!!!The atmosphere, the service, the food and the whole experience is top-notch. This place is absolutely amazing. So what did we get that was so good?!We ordered the: An Sun Family Tree to start, which I HIGHLY recommend. It has many different appetizers that you can split between 2 people (if you’re struggling to choose because they all look good, this is the way to go) - our appetizers were the Signature Crab Puffs, Wild Mushroom Wontons, Filet Mignon Satay, a special Vietnamese meatball (which I can’t remember the name), and a special rabbit dumpling as well! Literally every single appetizer was exceptional - not a single one we didn’t like! I would order all of them again. Such a great start! For drinks, we got the Crimson Spice and Lychee Cloud mocktails. For mocktails, they were REALLY good. I would get 10 of these drinks if I could! For our mains, we split the An’s Famous Garlic Noodles, Crispy Orange Peel Chicken, and Kung Pao Eggplant. The garlic noodles are a must-have - our waiter Aaron said it is like their bread and butter. You NEED to get at least one order of this. The orange chicken was the best orange chicken we’ve ever had by far, and the eggplant was amazing! I don’t even like eggplant and never would normally order it but I would get this every time I come back, it was that good! Finally, for dessert we ordered the Cherry Bomb Alaska, Vietnamese Coffee Beignets, and a Vietnamese iced coffee and hot tea. The coffee and tea were perfect, beignets rivaled the best you’d get in the heart of New Orleans, and Cherry Bomb Alaska was to die for! They use real cherries and the flavor is just amazing! The best part about the meal was the service and the overall atmosphere. We came at 2 pm on a weekday and it was quiet - not very busy at all. The restaurant is so nicely decorated - they even have live fish swimming in the floor!! And our waiter was awesome. His name was Aaron and he was so helpful with suggesting all the best menu items - really a great guy. All in all, this was the best restaurant we have ever been to, and we will come back again and again! Crustacean is a 1,000,000/10!
