Le Soleil Vietnamese Noodles & Grill
1515 E 14th St, San Leandro, CA 94577, United States
I come to this place at least a few times a month and it satisfies my seafood noodle cravings. It probably wont be the best noodle soup or pho that you have ever had, but it will get the hunger job done. Pricing on their soups can be more expensive than traditional Vietnamese restaurants and service sometimes can be really slow during the dinner hours when it is rather busy. If you are in downtown San Leandro and craving some pho this place is worth a shot.

Pho An Hoa Noodle House
14391 Washington Ave, San Leandro, CA 94578, United States
3.5 stars rounded down to 3 stars. I found the food good enough, but my partner thought it was too dry and didnt enjoy it. The portions are more generous than other Vietnamese restaurants weve visited in San Leandro, which was nice.We ordered #61 Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio (grilled lemongrass pork vermicelli with egg roll) and #94 Com Ga Chien Don (crispy chicken over rice served with sweet and sour sauce).

Saigon 2 Restaurant
2113 Marina Blvd, San Leandro, CA 94577, United States
My wife and I have been eating at Saigon 2 for over 2 years on a bi-monthly basis. This little restaurant is a hidden gem in San Leandro. Our favorite items are the Vietnamese crepe and Beef Salad, but note the Vietnamese crepes are only available on the weekends. Prices wise is very fair for the food quality. The restaurant doesnt look like much but they make it up in food. We definitely recommend this restaurant if you want a quick bite, but we do want to let u know that the restrooms are a bite dated and dirty at times.

Saigon House Restaurant
15001 Farnsworth St, San Leandro, CA 94579, United States
Im pretty picky with my Pho! Ive been to many Vietnamese restaurants in SL, Castro Valley, and Hayward but was never satisfied until I found this place. This is a hidden gem in SL. The Pho is amazing as well as all their delicious Bahn Mis and rice plates. This place does not get enough credit for their food and friendly service given the location of the area. If you youre around the area I highly suggest it if youre craving some Vietnamese food.

Lotus Leaf
277 Parrott St, San Leandro, CA 94577, United States
The food is delicious!!! They have friendly staff and an extensive vegan/vegetarian menu. I frequently order the lemongrass “chicken” or tofu and have fallen in love with broken rice recently. I would say they rival Golden Lotus! It’s hard to find a decent vegan friendly Vietnamese restaurant in San Leandro, so kudos to Lotus Leaf for making it happen.

Tasty northern pho. Pricey, but much better quality than other Vietnamese restaurants nearby. Comfy booths to sit at.

Hanoi Chicken Noodle
13720 Doolittle Dr, San Leandro, CA 94577, United States
My husband and I ordered from here once on Doordash and it tasted good at home so we wanted to try it again in person. When you walk in, there is a cashier station where you order what you want, then they will tell you what table number to sit at based on your party size.I got #1 Hanoi's special with rice noodles and my husband got #4 Chiu Chow with clear noodles. We also got eggrolls, the Chinese fried doughnut and freshly squeezed orange juice. The eggrolls were meh and had quite a bit of taro so I wasn't a fan. The fried doughnut tasted fresh and was very crispy. The freshly squeezed orange juice was great and definitely fresh.Onto the main reason why we came, the noodles! The broth was super flavorful just like when we got it from Doordash. The shredded chicken was very nice, tender and cooked just right. Typically when I think of shredded chicken in pho ga, it's mainly over cooked chicken breast but this was not the case so I'm thankful. It was a great mix of dark and white meats as well. They also had fish balls, fish cake and char sui in there as well and they were all great. My husband enjoyed the #4 as well but said that he prefers #1 for additional toppings. Oh also they have this chili oil with garlic sauce and it's legit crack.Highly recommend this place for their noodle soup. Very flavorful, broth is nice and clean and meat is cooked perfectly!Pro tip, don't get rice noodles for delivery. It does not travel well.

Joes Pho Original
15070 Hesperian Blvd, San Leandro, CA 94578, United States
I visited a pho restaurant on a Sunday afternoon and found it to be 85% full, which was a good sign that people liked this place. To start off, I ordered a cafe sua dua, which I thought would be served in one of those drip coffee tools that you see at other Vietnamese restaurants, but instead it was served in a plastic boba cup. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how it tasted. It was smooth, but a little too sweet.Next, I ordered the dac biet, which is the chefs special, and went for the large portion. The large was definitely too much for me to eat . But the pho itself was delicious. It was served with a ton of green onions, which gave it a nice freshness, and there was also a good amount of beef, more than what Im used to at other Vietnamese restaurants. The noodles were also fresh and not clumped together. The meal cost me around $30 for a drink and a large pho, so it wasnt the cheapest option out there.Overall, I enjoyed this pho restaurant. I appreciated the portions of meat and fresh noodles. If you dont mind paying a bit more, I would definitely recommend giving this place a try.
