Feu Pho Kitchen
11310 Ventura Blvd, Studio City, CA 91604, United States
Good Vietnamese restaurant with a few modern, fusion twists. They also use quality ingredients and brand meats. The spring rolls had done extra crunchy fried elements and pickled root vegetables. The the pho is made with beefy broth and oxtail. The cold noodles was also good.

REDWHITE BONELESS RAMEN
11044 Ventura Blvd, Studio City, CA 91604, United States
Overall: 4.7/5 (dine in)This place is located right next to a smoke shop. Its a pretty small restaurant with a minimalist design. The food here is all vegan so it blows my mind how tasty everything was. We asked them to do the smoke down for ramen which was pretty cool to experience because you get to take off the top.Their soup ramen comes with soboro (soy meat & tofu), crispy onion, corn, arugula, and alfalfa. I cant believe how amazing this combination work. The only thing that could use some work is the soboro texture. It doesnt resemble ground meat as much as the broth is akin tonkatsu broth.No. 8 Red Hot Miso ($16.95): Delicious and spicy! The broth is full of umami and had so much depth. To think that this could be achieved with vegetables. I talked to the chef who said he believes there needs to be layers to the vegan broth in order to achieve umami. I 100% agree. I ate slowly and literally savored each bite. The noodles were one of the best I had. Perfect texture, bounciness, and taste. I finished the whole bowl but didnt feel heavy or get any uncomfortable bloating. I was so satisfied that I didnt crave anything for days.No. 5 Yuzu Sesame (16.95): How is this flavor even possible??!! Subtle Yuzu flavor but the broth was flavorful enough. Perfectly balanced bowl of heaven.Roasted Miso Avocado ($5.80): This was pretty good but not as amazing as everyone made it out to be.Mac & Beets ($8.80): They give a generous amount of crispy fried onions which is really what gives it flavor. The beet flavor is very subtle. It has the same texture and similar cheese taste as the Kraft boxed Mac & cheese. For the two appetizers, I feel like theyre good to try once but for the ramen, they got me hook-line-and sinker. You have to try this place at least once!

Black Market Liquor Bar - Studio City Restauran...

I have been wanting to go here for a long time, but, despite working right up the street, this was the first opportunity. So, I must confess that I am a big fan of Chef Antonias, having watched her on Top Chef and the Food Network. She is an amazing chef with a great amount of charisma and charm, plus she looks a bit like my wife. With that being said, I was afraid of being disappointed, because I have been to restaurants of celebrity chefs that were much less than expected, Black Market lived up to the hype. The service was amazing, everyone was super friendly and attentive, food came out in the order we requested it, with perfect timing, allowing us to finish our apps prior to receiving the entrees. We started off with the Corn Fritters off the Happy Hour menu, perfection! They were light, flavorful, very well seasoned and not oily, like a lot of Fritters I have tried before. My son had 2 of the 3 ounce Sliders, cooker to the exact temp we asked for, juicy, flavorful with a perfectly toasted bun, only topping was Lettuce, come on hes only 9. My wife had the Penne and I had the Chicken Parm, both were amazing, again. Finally for dessert, we had the Churros, I love Churros and these were definitely among the best. The place is beautiful, has a true old pub feel to it, very charming.Be warned that it is a little pricey, $130 with tip for 3 of us, but definitely well worth the cost. The only complaints I can make is that it was very cold for my wife, not totally their fault, as it was raining and about 45 degrees outside, but maybe some heaters would have helped and parking is a bit difficult, while there are a lot of spaces in the area, meters and side streets, the area is very busy, so you are better off using the Valet. All in all, it was a phenomenal experience. The only thing that would have made it better would have been if Chef Antonia was there and we could have met her.If you are in the area, I would definitely recommend trying it.
