Pho Ha plus Vietnamese Cuisine
21090 Golden Springs Dr, Walnut, CA 91789, United States
I really like the place. Quiet and calm, there were no people yelling at each other like in typical Vietnamese restaurants. Service was quick and the server was attentive. We ordered no 1 and no 46 with spring roll as appetizers. The price was higher than other pho restaurant but the meat and other topping inside our dish was a lot more too, so it’s worth it. No 46 dish was pleasantly delicious, the veggies/salad was cold and fresh, and the meat topping was packed with lots of flavor. Definitely will come back soon.
Pho Huynh Hiep 6 - Kevins Noodle House
2034 N Main St, Walnut Creek, CA 94596, United States
Overview: Been here, and its affiliated restaurants in the chain, countless times. Never had a disappointing meal. Details below:If you read my other reviews, youll see that I am often critical of restaurants numerous flaws, and rarely hand out good reviews. However, I can sincerely say that in the last decade of coming to Kevins Noodle House locations all over the bay area, I have never had a disappointing meal.Food: The food, be it the standard order #1 extra large pho, or grilled pork rice plate, is always on point for authenticity, taste, quantity, and value. The food itself offers rich and deep flavors, and is presented in a very palatable fashion. The quality of the ingredients is amazing, surprisingly fresh, and is cooked expertly. When I review other Vietnamese restaurants, Kevins Noodle House is the standard to which I compare others.Price point: Extremely competitive pricing. Over the last 10 years their menu prices have been increasing a bit, but only a negligent amount for now. For the amount you pay, you get a very large portion of food that is guarenteed to fill you up.Atmosphere: Well lit and clean atmosphere. Everything is kept organized and efficient. Spacious (Walnut Creek location).Service staff: very friendly. Some do not speak English as well, so one might have difficulty with their accents, but overall service staff is on point, even when restaurant is at max capacity. Food comes out quickly after ordering.
Vanessas Bistro 2 Vietnamese Restaurant
1512 Locust St, Walnut Creek, CA 94596, United States
Interesting Vietnamese fusion restaurant in Walnut Creek. The restaurant serves tapas style of a variety of appetizers but also offer full size entrée too. We ended up getting a few tapas to share, including fried Shrimp, pulled pork, pork taco and tuna tartare. All of them are very delicious and would recommend. For entrée, we were pretty full by then so we only shared 2 entrees for 4 people. The Clay Pot was pretty good with pork and bok choy. The other entrée is fish with buttery potato.Overall, it is a very good meal although I dont taste much of a Vietnamese flavor to it. Regardless, I will be back to try it again!
Mr. Pho California Kitchen - Walnut

Best Vietnamese restaurant around the area! Love Pho here. They made the soup so savory and tasty. There’s so much meat in 1 bowl and the portion of everything else is big. The back ribs were cooked to soft but chewy, sweet and tangy. Not all Pho place makes good, authentic taste of broth. This place is 1 of the successor in that. The interior is not a standard Pho restaurant, but designed to stand out and luxury I have to say. Drinks menu is also great. They offer sugar cane juice, their thai tea is also amazing! The smell of strong green tea, mixed with the right amount of milk really brings out their handmade recipe. I want to try the eggrolls and garlic noodles shaken beef next visit. I hope they’re doing great so I can keep coming in for my favorite of Pho bowl. ?

Really good fresh Vietnamese food. One of my go to lunch spots and as expensive as other Vietnamese restaurants around the area. My favorite is the lemongrass tofu banh mi.
Pho Hai Walnut
1263 N Grand Ave, Walnut, CA 91789, United States
Unfussy family-owned Vietnamese restaurant. Currently open for indoor dining and takeout during covid (no outdoor seating available). It’s nestled in the plaza across of Mt Sac and there’s typically parking available in the shared lot. Bathrooms are available for customer use. Credit cards are accepted for transactions over $10 and they’ll take MasterCard/Visa.The prices are very reasonable and they have a special as well which includes a medium bowl of pho, spring rolls, choice of drink, and flan for ~$13 + tax. The food is very fresh and tastes just like home cooking. We ordered spring rolls and those came to us fresh from the fryer to our table (so tasty). There are medium and large sizes of the noodle options available - they were super filling and came with plenty of fresh bean sprouts & basil on the side. Unfortunately they ran out of the fresh coconut when we were there, but they do have boba and other drink options. Overall, it’s a nice option for a quick meal whenever you’re craving Vietnamese food and it’s convenient for Walnut locals/Mt Sac students.

Really interesting menu. My friends brought me here late at night. I actually got the Matcha milk tea with boba. I really liked it! Good texture, soft and chewy. Their regular poke was also good with 3 proteins (you can build your own bowl that has a good selection of toppings and sauces). Id like to try more of the menu when I come again.

Started off my evening with a cocktail and I am fond of coconut rum, so I chose to order the INDOMEX which has a Mezcal, coconut ? rum, pineapple ? juice, lime, juice, and agave. Can you say Yum I loved it. ? my partner loves spicy. I'm not too fond of it so they ordered the spicy Putera Naga in which has a salsa, tequila, fire, tincture, lychee, dragon fruit, and lime juice. They were very happy with their drink. Just look at the ingredients. Need you say more. Yum Yum.Started dinner off with a SATAY of Tiger Prawns ? . They were colossal, seasoned to perfection and delicious ? !!!Moving onto the main course of our meal I am a huge seafood ? Fan so I ended up ordering the chili, Dungeness crab. The seasoning was amazing. The smell was divine. My taste buds were just absolutely going crazy, and I even had to compose myself over not making a full of myself and wanting to suck down all the and all it was that good. The pineapple salad that came with it I thought was not going to go well with it but I must say it was very complementary to the dish itself. And although I was absolutely stuffed by the appetizer and the dinner, who doesn't have room for dessert. I'm a huge chocolate fan, but I decided to go with the carrot cake and boy am I glad I did the environment the food, the ambience, the service, the drinks it was all just amazing, and that's why I give this place five stars will I come back again absolutely for sure
Broderick Roadhouse
1548 Bonanza St, Walnut Creek, CA 94596, United States
My girlfriend and I popped into this burger spot after we hiked Mount Diablo. We were drawn in by the great reviews but were skeptical because of the establishments low health inspection score. The atmosphere was great. I ordered the blue cheeseburger, and my girlfriend ordered the bison burger. The food tasted terrific; the burger was tender and well seasoned; the blue cheese was amazing. We left satisfied and said to ourselves we found a new burger place. However, the problems began that night. My two-year-old woke up uncontrollably vomiting in the middle of the night. This had never happened to us before, so we were pretty worried. We thought the food we gave him from Broderick was just a little too much for his stomach. He then came down with a bad case of diarrhea. My girlfriend and I thought we had made a mistake giving him pieces of my hamburger. It wasnt until the next day at work. I realized that the case wasnt just isolated to him.My stomach began to hurt that evening, and I hadnt had much of an appetite that whole day. By the time I got home, I was extremely nauseous. I began to vomit uncontrollably for about 30 minutes, curled up on the bathroom floor with some of the worst stomach cramps I have ever had in my life. My girlfriend became extremely worried. She wanted me to go to the emergency room, but I didnt want to. I couldnt move extremely weak and cold and had the worse case of diarrhea I have ever had as an adult. What made matters worse is my girlfriend began to vomit too! We were bed-ridden for about a day in a half. I had to call out of work the next day. Im just now getting my wits about me enough to write this review. I will never eat at this establishment again, and if my review saves one person from the misery my family received from eating this food, then my work has been accomplished.1)This was the only meal my family shared before we all came down with food poisoning.2) We all ate blue cheese from this place, which led me to believe that the blue cheese was not good or the meat for the burgers was not kept at the right temperature.
