Decent Chinese. Not that authentic but probably best in santa Maria. Cleanest restrooms I have been in at a Chinese restaurant. I mention this because I was pleasantly surprised. This is an old shopping center a fairly old restaurant and the restrooms were spotless. Did like the food too. Now if only for Fortune cookie can be right and I win lotto. ?

The food is good but they need to seperate the online orders from the in person orders. I ordered 1 item and my order was done and sitting in line on the counter with about 9 orders in front of it and most of the orders where from online orders. I do not like cold food. I expect to get my food hot. So several of the orders in front of mine were waiting for an item to be refilled. My food was cold when I got it. And I ordered the Fire Shrimp... not good cold. At least they should have someone to be pushing out the orders that are completed. I had already paid when I ordered from the girl electronically taking the orders at the front of the line. So I couldnt just walk out.It would be pretty simple to assign one staff member to get the orders out to the customer as soon as its complete. Just check the orders and since they are paid already just get it out. So I will not be dining here if its like this again. It would have been good hot!!!The last couple times here is been much better! Fresh hot food and better service!

Great PlaceWe had a variety of plates and each of them were absolutely amazing. Little pricey but good food and the service was supreme. In the Santa Maria area I think its about the best Chinese restaurant around. Also the service was great couldnt get better.Reason for the 4* rating is due to the prices, again, a little too pricey...

This place is one of the worst restaurant ever these people do not care about you all they care about is getting their money they have messed up my order for the last time. I ordered chow mein and they gave me shrimp fried rice and actually doesnt taste very good at all. I recommend people go to North China Ive been going to there for years since I was a little kid and they have never messed up my order. Worst Chinese restaurant Ive been to in a long time and I know about Chinese restaurant because my dad used to own one and I know what a Chinese restaurant supposed to be in this isnt one of them

This is I believe the best Chinese food place in Santa Maria. Generous portions and all the dishes are excellent. Personal favorites for me are the salt and pepper. Fish, sesame chicken, and tea smoked duck. Spacious restaurant for large sit down parties and theyre pretty quick with to go orders as well. Oh the staff is also very nice to you, but doesnt try to talk to you a lot which can be seen as a good thing sometimes.

Genuinely love going here when im at the mall. food is always so good & i have never had a bad experience with both food and service. usually just for myself it's a good $13/$14. very friendly to all customers, only thing i would say is to have someone with a little more language skills/speak basic Spanish at least. some customers struggle to speak English and/or only speak Spanish!!

Ive been to this restaurant three times, and this is the first time reviewing it, and I wanted to explain why I gave it two stars. Btw, I’ve never seen it busy whenever I visited. Jade has an excellent potential to be a great restaurant. Some of their dishes are tasty. Though someone who knows Filipino cooking may beg a differ on some of their dishes that taste like re-heated or refrigerated. Making Filipino food is time-consuming and having the right menu and offering tasty fresh dishes are the key.The menu is typical of any other Filipino restaurant, and the main complaint I have is that the photo of their dishes doesnt look the same as what theyre offering. On one occasion, I ordered a combination, and the pancit didnt taste right, and its almost sour. The pork bbq has a delicious taste, but when you look at the photo, it looks like your getting a large skewered bbq, and its only like 6 inches. Its a bit deceiving. I ordered Lechon kawali, and it doesnt even look like the real Filipino dish(see photo), and it was $16+ per order and on my photo that was two orders.Pricing is too high based on what you get and how it is presented. In the restaurant, your advertising is your food, how it tastes, and how it is presented. I’ve been to Filipino restaurants worldwide, and by far, this place is the most expensive in its category. Filipino food is not cheap by any means but not expensive either. It’s easier to make Filipino food than Thai or Chinese. Their catering prices are also way overpriced. I’d love for people to love Filipino food because it’s good, it’s comfort food, and better than another Asian cuisine, though not offering it well may dismay others to enjoy it.The review, I hope, would give the owners something to think about.
