This place was fantastic! We were craving wonton soup with rice noodles, shrimp, beef, and beef balls, even though it wasnt on the menu. However, they made it happen, and it was incredibly tasty! 😋 We also tried the spring rolls, and everyone loved them. Well definitely be coming back!

Ordered their dry egg noodle and it was SOOOO GOOD!!! the noodle has a sweet & savory flavor and it was really meaty… Everyone should try it, I travelled 20 miles to eat here. It’s worth it!!!

Aye Caramba! Years of searching for a wonderful Teo Chew dry egg noodles (shrimp, fish ball and pork) with bone and broth has finally arrive. The last best place closed was Los Angeles Chinatown about 15 years ago. I’ve order extra noodles and one extra bone and broth for a total of $19.75 with a cold bottled water. I thought it would he at least $30. The last place in Long Beach my meal was $35 for a little amount of food but with Chinese donuts. Will definitely come here again and again!

My family and I use to go to this place a lot a couple years back and I finally revisited today. This is a great Vietnamese & Khmer restaurant with a lot of variety on the menu. Ive loved everything Ive tried from here but especially their stir fried noodles.Today I tried the chou zhou noodles (hu tieu nam vang) which is one of my favorite foods. You can order the soup or dry version, but I opted for the soup. I usually go to another spot nearby for this, but its not bad from here! Its cheaper (only $10.50 including tax) and doesnt include the intestines/liver, but the broth was so good. The pork was delicious and so tender. It also does not include green veggies and only had bean sprouts. For the price, it was a really fulfilling and delicious meal. I really enjoyed it, and it stayed hot until I got home.This space is huge, I dont think there is ever a wait. Also dont be fooled and think there is just street parking because they have their own parking lot in the back.

Great food, good value, ok service.Wandered in once when in the area.Food- Ordered delicious and tender bbq chicken, hit all the right notes. Salad with what seemed to be shredded daikon was refreshing and slightly pickled in taste. Their house chili oil is a little heavy on the Chinese 5 spice flavor for me though. Generous portions too, I couldn’t finish and only payed $10.75 for my meal.Service- took a while for me to get noticed waiting for my order to be taken, maybe 5-10 minutes. Also, they don’t give free water, only bottled for sale. No one checked on me while I was eating.Good cleanliness, nice art, and lots of customers which must mean it’s stayed in business for a reason. A solid choice for Vietnamese and other pan Asian dishes.

I came in for my first visit at 9:56AM, and there was my server, greeting me with a menu in-hand. I love it! This is literally the best place to get your Asian food fix!!! The wings, garlic wings are seriously the best in town!! My favorites are the Chou Zhou dry noodles, the Thai spicy noodle, Kung Pao tofu, kabobs, the Vietnamese iced coffee is amazing!! Weve been coming here ever since they opened. 10 years.

Great service, amazingly fresh food. Pictured is the beef stew, fried shrimp (made to order), and vietnamese coffee. The soup is savory and hearty, so bring an appetite. The shrimp is hot and crisp, with a lovely softness of meat inside. The coffee is strong, thick, and carries a mild sweetness that only contributes to the boldness of the brew. Ive been coming here for over a decade, and the staff never dissapoint.

Ive been coming here for years. Its my go to Chinese food spot, no frills, great food and service. My regular dish is the beef chow fun dry but Ive had many others and there all tasty. Family style portions, I always leave stuffed and satisfied ... 777 is a win !

This place is filthy and disgusting. The utensils are not cleaned thoroughly. There are flies, dead and alive, everywhere. The restroom is also a mess. The tables are sticky and the food is average. They charge you for buying bottles water, when it should be given out for free.

Omg! So good! I had the Chow Fun substituted with chicken instead of beef, and my gf had the thai vegetarian spicy noodle dish with tofu and veggies, she said it was pretty good but a little spicy for her! My chicken chow fun was absolutely delicious, easily the best chow fun Ive had in my life. The wok hei was very pronounced and there were great notes of smokey subtle flavors and the perfect balance of salty, sweet, and umami. Cant wait to come back and try more items on their menu! Also, remember there is a parking lot in back and its in the same building as Blinks Thread Lounge, so its a perfect spot for some lunch and a bit of self care.

My family and I stopped here while on vacation from AZ. Every one of us loved our meals here! My son had chicken kabobs and rice. The chicken was so flavorful and tender. My daughter had a vegetarian dish with crispy noodles and she couldnt stop eating it even when she was full. It was a very large, generous serving. My wife had dish I cant recall the name of, but it had large wide noodles, beef, and vegetables, and the flavor was amazing. I had a spicy Thai dish with flat wide noodles as well, and could choose My spicy level from 1-10, and I chose 5. It was perfect. A nice kick, without burning me. The beef strips were very tender and flavorful. Overall, a great restaurant that we would definitely come back to.

I’ve been eating here since I was 16 and it’s still my favorite spot in city heights. Ten years later I’m still ordering the same dishes. My husband and kids love coming here so much that we drive down from Eastlake once a week just for their basil chicken. It’s super affordable and the staff is always great. I Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a full belly and you’re not trying to break your pockets. (:

I’ve eaten here as a kid. My family LOVES this place. Food is great and service is good! I usually order Pad Thai medium spice. My brother always order their soups. They have a great variety of foods! Also, I appreciate that there is a photo with every item listed! I definitely recommend this place! There is an entrance behind the restaurant accessible through the parking lot. The place next door (to go food) is ran by the same owner. The fried chicken is always good and always fresh!!

This is a slightly run down, but large restaurant with a lot of seating. If youre feeling lucky, you can also play the lottery. The menu is pretty large, theres a variety of items with pictures, so it helps. The service wasnt that great, its not that attentive even on a non-busy night.I ordered the vegetable egg noodle stir fry. It comes with a variety of vegetables on a bed of noodles, a decent portion for the price. The noodles come out slightly oily in a very light gravy with light flavor. The noodles are cooked well, and its served hot.The other dishes seem comparable, making this an okay choice for noodles dishes.

I come here with my family all the time, Kids love the food and we usually end up ordering a few dishes. Service here is wonderful and friendly. Food choices are amazing you cannot go wrong with almost any dish. Our favorite: egg rolls (typically very picky) beef kabobs. Papaya salad. Correct me on this one but the garlic salt jalepeno chicken wings are finger licking good. If you like chicken definitely recommended. But I do wish they would offer boba with the Thai tea.

The restaurant markets itself as Vietnamese, but the cooks in the back know Khmer dishes as well that are not on the menu. Somlawmachu Krueng was super authentic and the food was prepared quick. I used to love this restaurant, Ive been to this restaurant many times and the first time was good, but the more I go there the worse the costumer service get. The waiters and waitress were so rude and it took them forever to get our food and act like I was invisible when I need to ask something. The last time I went to this restaurant was when I waited for my food and see other people who come after me get their food first. I just have to walk out of the restaurant because I waited for them more than 30 minutes to get my food! And they also didnt gave us water until I ask for it.

Ate at this Khmer spot for hubbys belated bday meal with his family. Server was accommodating and attentive. All 8 dishes arrived shortly within minutes of each other.Portions were large. We ordered family style for a party of 8 to share - garlic chicken, fried rice special, clay pot fish, beef and chicken shish kabobs, pan fried egg noodles and birds nest noodle, chicken congee- and still had items to take home. After many many years of hearing about this place, finally got the fan over to City Hight to try. They did not disappoint, we came at around 7:30 pm, parking was easy in their back parking lot. Service was good and fast. My Chiu Zhou noodle soup came out perfectly hot and well seasoned, very comforting for me. Also ordered Beef Chou Fun, Thai Spicy Combination Fried Rice Noodle, Wonton noodle soup switched with white rice noodle. All were very satisfying. The spiciness of the spicy noodle was not enough for level 6, but, we can eat quite spicy, so thats OK. Did see lots of people ordered the bone soup, will need to try that next time. Will come back!
