Small strip mall shop that just recently changed owners.They are SUPER nice and the combo special plate was delicious.I upgraded my fried rice to BBQ pork fried, ordered cashew chicken, added a spring roll and waited to see what happened.First to arrive was delicious hot and sour soup. Then my lunch special plate. There was so much food on it there was no way I could even eat half of it (and I am a big dude who arrived hungry.)Next thing I noticed was real undiluted soy sauce bottles on the tables. This is the only place Ive been to in decades that doesnt water down the soy sauce to extend it down the street and around the corner.So I used one dash instead of half the bottle. Thumbs up ACME for that!Bill not incl a tip was $18. What a deal . Ill be back to get some things to go.Acme - my new favorite to-go spot!!Check my pix:

The food is very good and fresh! Below is Mongolian chicken lunch and salt n pepper chicken lunch. You can pick chow mein or rice. It was so delicious! Excellent customer service as well

Inflation? No, it doesn’t exist here. Huge portion for a single-digit price. Tasty food especially the wonton soup. It was too good that I even forgot to take a pic. Friendly host. Wish they were on Uber Eats but good thing it’s not too far. Will come back again.

This place was absolutely fantastic. I was at the Kaiser near by and I decided to seek out a Chinese restaurant nearby and I found Acme. So so so so good. I got the pan fried soup dumplings and a broccoli chicken lunch special. 10/10 would definitely eat here again. Pan fried soup dumplings are such a slept on item at Chinese places. If youve never tried them, come here and get them with your meal, you wont regret it!

This place is great! I have been a big fan for several years, before and after the 2023 update. While I will greatly miss the legendary crab puffs, there are a number of new great additions! Everyone deserves to try the minced pork green beans at least once; this dish blew me away!!!

This place used to have the best food!!! Ive been twice recently, and Im sadly going to half to find a different Chinese take out spot. Im wondering if they changed chefs? Particularly, the general tso chicken used to be AMAZING! now it looks and tastes completely different... Im not a fan. The food was also very salty this time. I miss the old food.

The food is really good, authentic Chinese food for an express restaurant! I especially loved their egg fried rice it was so good, the lunch specials also came with a dessert soup which is taro sago and that was very good as well!

The food and prices are good I have yet to have anything I didnt like. I only discovered this place after locked down. so Ive only had food to go. It is kind of a hole in the wall Restaurant. But dont let that turn you away. My experiences is that the best places Ive ever eaten Match this description. It is definitely worth giving a try.Enjoy and good eating!

Hands down the best wonton soup Ive ever had. We usually vegetarian food here, but have loved everything that weve had. Even their Kung Pao chicken is really good.Theyre nice people, and they always have consistently good food. I cant say enough good things about this restaurant. I drive 20 minutes to pick up food from here in 20 minutes back - thats how good it is.

We were looking for a place for a quick meal after a long day and came across Acme on social media. Lots of positive reviews so we decided to give it a try.This place sure lived up to the positive reviews! The lady at the counter was really friendly, and assured us the food was all prepared fresh.We tried the dinner combo (one entree & one side, we chose spicy eggplant chicken and chow mein) and the hybrid combo (choice of two items; we got California roll and egg roll).The food was served promptly and hot. We could tell it really is prepared fresh! Very tasty, nice texture unlike places where the food sits in steam tables for hours.Prices are very reasonable. We will be going back!Other things of note:This restaurant is really tiny, order are taken at the counter.No table service after 8pm, to-go orders only.No public restroom, bathrooms available at nearby Petco or KFC.

UPDATE: we liked their food and one day the rice was just a little off didnt taste like usual and then I called in and let them know it was too peppery for us and if they can please not put any and they mentioned to bring it back they would redo it. Once I got the three owner who is also one of the cooks came out and was very rude about the whole situation. He said I dont like complaining of my food I said I was not complaining I was bringing it a point that we ordered this at least 4 times before and it was not spicy then, and this time there might have been just a little too much pepper. I even told him my sister could not eat spicy and he didnt care he wad angry and rude about it. No customer service whatsoever, wer ette becoming regulars ordering the same things and if an employee let alone the owner acts in that manner, that means they dont care about the customers. Needless to say, I am no longer a customer of this restaurant.REMEMBER: CUSTOMER SERVICE IS IMPORTANT TOO......................................................................................This place is wonderful, I was surprised that i have lived in this city for such a long time and never knew about this place. You want quality Chinese food? This is your land they use quality ingredients they trim fats off the meats to make sure you get more protein and not just fat. The sweet and sour sauce is delicious. Their BBQ pork chow main is very tasty and the veggies are always very fresh. You guys need to try this place out. It is mostly take out but you can eat there too. I have always take it home since I live very close. Ther staff is very courteous and always have a smile on their faces. GREAT JOB!!!

Nice little hole in the wall resturant . Ive been here a couple occasions and one thing guarantee is that they serve big portions ! Very friendly staff they have a lot to chose from chicken curry, sushi, to chow main with chicken ! I dont think they serve beer only water and sodas really . Another thing is they put plently of veggies in your plate as well can complain i always leave full from this resturant . Highly recommend this spot especially the sushi and the shrimp rice with actual big shrimp in it the best !

Acme Express never disappoints. Their food is consistently good, the prices reasonable, and they serve generous portions. Although there are many other Asian restaurants in proximity, Acme Expresss food is consistently among the best.

This is the best place I have found so far in Martinez that has AWESOME CHOW MEIN!!!! I wanted to go here today for lunch with my husband and son, but on the weekends they open later in the afternoon (2pm :-(So...this evening we will be there for dinner!!!! I personally recommend their House Chow Mein, Salt and Pepper Fish, Fried Rice and I cannot forget their String Bean Prawns (Super Good)!! I like the Chinese food here so much I havent stop talking about this place since my husband brought me here last week

Since I live nearby I usually stop by every week or two. The food is very fresh, and they make it within a reasonable amount of time. You can call ahead your order if you do not wish to wait as well.

There is nothing resembling Chinese food here. I have never had Chinese food without taste. The pot stickers were dry and mealy. The vegetables and chicken was horrible. I couldnt recommend this place to anyone.
