UPDATE: we liked their food and one day the rice was just a little off didnt taste like usual and then I called in and let them know it was too peppery for us and if they can please not put any and they mentioned to bring it back they would redo it. Once I got the three owner who is also one of the cooks came out and was very rude about the whole situation. He said I dont like complaining of my food I said I was not complaining I was bringing it a point that we ordered this at least 4 times before and it was not spicy then, and this time there might have been just a little too much pepper. I even told him my sister could not eat spicy and he didnt care he wad angry and rude about it. No customer service whatsoever, wer ette becoming regulars ordering the same things and if an employee let alone the owner acts in that manner, that means they dont care about the customers. Needless to say, I am no longer a customer of this restaurant.REMEMBER: CUSTOMER SERVICE IS IMPORTANT TOO......................................................................................This place is wonderful, I was surprised that i have lived in this city for such a long time and never knew about this place. You want quality Chinese food? This is your land they use quality ingredients they trim fats off the meats to make sure you get more protein and not just fat. The sweet and sour sauce is delicious. Their BBQ pork chow main is very tasty and the veggies are always very fresh. You guys need to try this place out. It is mostly take out but you can eat there too. I have always take it home since I live very close. Ther staff is very courteous and always have a smile on their faces. GREAT JOB!!!

Legit dimsum in Martinez! Anywhere that serves good chicken feet, black bean spareribs, and siu mai gets my stamp of approval. It was open on Christmas too which was awesome. I came here with my neighbors and decided this should be a Xmas tradition of ours. The dimsum menu is limited but there are enough classic dished to really enjoy the experience. The rest of the menu is composed of Chinese dishes you would get at a traditional restaurant. We wanted to order the peking duck but they ran out by 3pm which was a bummer. If you love spicy ask for the chili house and hot mustard. I cant eat my dimsum without my spices and they do it right here.If you order tea, they use tea bags and not loose tea leaves.

Just a passenger traveling through the train station, I came upon this restaurant a very short walk away. I ordered a vegetarian chow mein lunch special, which was very fairly portioned and came with a spring roll to boot. Best noodles I’ve had in a long time, thick and chewy with strong overtones of garlic - and quite filling. The hostess was very kind and went out of her way to get me some additional soy sauce packets. The food came out promptly and hot with everything I needed for a meal to go. I am not familiar with Martinez California but I will remember this city has one awesome Chinese restaurant close to the train station! ????

I eat here quite a bit for lunch when Im in the area. The portions are huge, really probably too much for a single meal for most people, so takeout leftovers are a good way to go.The food is excellent. Im vegetarian and there are plenty of tasty things to eat. I get Mongolian tofu more than anything, and its great. I got chow fun last time, also great.Service is friendly and fast. I believe its a husband/wife team, so everything is consistent. It is, you should know, more of a fast food service, order at the counter, whereas theres no table service, though occasionally theyll bring it to your table, maybe if you frequent the place. But the food is NOT like a fast food place, to be clear.Prices are good. I get a lunch dish with rice, the standard combo, if you wanna call it that, and if you dont get a drink, its under 10 bucks out the door. Maybe some meat dishes are more, but I dont look at those.

Theres a reason this place has an almost perfect 5 stars.I am actually really happy that I came here. I was hungry in between jobs at work and stopped in for a quick bite. It was pretty busy, so I felt bad (I try to avoid making the work load to heavy on restaurants and stuff like that out of courtesy for the staff), but despite how heavy the traffic was on a Friday night they handled the order with ease, and I got my stuff relatively quickly. As for the food itself.... holy crows. The flavor is wholesome, and actually tastes fresh, and as though it was crafted with care. Their curry recipes are divine. That is literally the only word that could come to mind.At some restaurants they will try to stretch certain things (like curry) and add a bunch of extra this and that into it, ultimately leading to it being too soupy or almost flavorless. This is not that type of restaurant, and I appreciate their respect for the customer in that regard. The hospitality is great, the woman that handled my order was handling many different tables at once, and still managed to engage one-on-one with me without appearing flustered and even nailed my sort of complicated order without any mistakes. Very kind too.The restaurant itself is cute, seems like a very clean eatery. Simple, mellow design (The pictures of the food on the walls is a little tacky, but that doesnt at all effect my score or opinion of the restaurant).Overall the food was so good I felt compelled to stop eating, and write a review as another way of saying thank you to the hard working people here.Thank you very much ❤
Kyoto Ramen Hawaiian BBQ & Boba

Our inaugural visit to this establishment following a family shopping excursion proved to be a delightful culinary experience that left us thoroughly satisfied. While the drink selection could benefit from expansion, the gastronomic offerings surpassed expectations with their delectable flavors and generous portions. The ramen, in particular, emerged as a highlight, boasting a tantalizing medley of flavors that tantalized the taste buds and left a lasting impression of culinary excellence. The portion sizes exceeded expectations, ensuring that every member of our family left feeling thoroughly satiated.Despite its merits, its worth noting that the establishment experiences a surge in patronage during the lunch hour, resulting in increased activity and a bustling ambiance. However, this minor inconvenience paled in comparison to the overall dining experience, characterized by impeccable service and culinary mastery. In conclusion, our inaugural visit to this establishment proved to be a resounding success, marked by a culinary journey that exceeded expectations. While opportunities for improvement exist in terms of beverage offerings and managing lunchtime crowds, the quality of the cuisine and the warmth of the service more than compensated for any minor inconveniences. We eagerly anticipate future visits to savor more of the delightful fare offered by this esteemed establishment.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! My family and I have been going to this restaurant for 1 year and some months and we have brought a lot of business to this place with friends and with family. Unfortunately we will NOT be going back. Yesterday my family and others went to this restaurant to celebrate my brothers birthday (we were just there July 16th to celebrate my other brothers birthday). We were 3 separate families with 3 separate checks (we let the server know about this immediately to avoid any confusion and luckily the restaurant was empty) we all proceeded to order our food. When it was time to pay my check was given to me and to my surprise our party of 2 adults and 2 kids was charged 20% gratuity. I thought it was a mistake so I went up to the female server with burgundy hair and asked her about the tips that were included. She right away got defensive with me and started to raise her voice. I asked her why she charged me 20% when we were a party of 4 and her menu EXPLICITLY says that amount would be charged to parties of 6 or more. She did not want to reason with me and snatched the receipt from my hand and started saying “ ok ok can you at least give me 15% you always come here and never give me good tip always bad tip” I was completely taken aback about this comment because that has never been the case. Whenever we come to THIS restaurant to eat we make sure to show our verbal appreciation and our monetary appreciation to the servers and staff. She then proceeded to throw the receipt on the table and start speaking in her language. I'm very disappointed with this treatment as I thought this restaurants staff was trustworthy and that we had an established relationship especially since we come to this location at least 2-3x a month. Unfortunately that will not be the case. We also noticed that on another party of 3 they were also charged the 20% gratuity. It seems like they wanted to charge all of us and didn't think we would say anything, which would explain as to why she got so defensive as soon as I asked her about it. Please do not come to this location. The lady with short burgundy hair is so rude and aggressive towards customers when they question prices. If you want to enjoy your meal and be treated with respect please GO SOMEWHERE ELSE !!

Absolutely terrible, and this is coming from an ex employee who has worked there for over a year now, disgusting environment, roaches in the back, I informed my manager that there is a dead roach in the middle of the dining room, and she did not care whatsoever, they have Favoritism and are racist, They treat Their Filipino customers better than any other customers, And that goes for employees as well . They constantly will yell back-and-forth rudely as the customer tries to speak up to order food, Manager refers to any Hispanic or Latino person as “the Mexicans” Prices are way too high for the little portions that they try to give you Then again, it depends if you're Filipino or not. Never in my life 10 years working have I witness such unprofessionalism. My work ethic is based on customer service and to see how terrible this companies customer service is … Possibly the worst I've ever seen. This store specifically Has broke so many work laws that I am deeply confused why they do not have a union.I won't mention completely everything, that's a long list for my lawyers to read.
