Wow the food sucks. Im embarrassed I fed it to my boy. The tempura shrimp may not have been shrimp, but some rubbery meat thing. The crab in my sons Cali roll was more like rotten tuna. There is no way the owners of this place eat their own food and can think its even decent.

I love Amberjack Sushi by their always tasty, fresh, and healthy reliable take-out / delivery Japanese food orders. They have an excellent wide selection of delicious sushi and sashimi along with their main set dinners to choose from. I have found the salmon teriyaki dinner has become a perfect simple always tasty dinner meal that I love every time I order it!

Downgraded as the service is miserable and Samurai is so much better.The one waitress always looks somewhere between bored and pissed.My last time ever there was tonight. Sat in the absolutely empty little restaurant for 15 minutes. Waitress stood folding napkins or putting something away. Too busy to take the order for their only customers.

Its a tiny place with fresh 🍣 and good udon. Try the avocado & ebi hand roll - yum! Also a fan of their roasted eggplant and some specials. Were there about once a week & like the intimacy and non-intrusive staff. Very nice people! They do takeout.

Intimate and small. The food is great with good selections. Service can be a little slow because its really just one person working the dining area. Everyone is super nice and friendly so its easy to look past the service shortcomings.

Food is fine, but man they got some sour customer service. if the hostess/waitress can be bothered to look up from her phone to seat you and bring you a menu, count your blessings.

Great local sushi place in Mill Valley. Really small place so mainly takeout. But a great place to stop and get a bite before a movie during non Covid lockdown

Excellent sushi every time as well as very nice people and good food all around. We’ve been there since they opened and we go as often as we can.

Terrible people, no sense of obligation towards a potential customer. I was looking at their menu and one of the proprietors came and closed the door on me. Pathetic

The shrimp tempura lunch was delectable and the sumi-e originals by local artist Mardi Horowitz made for a transcendent experience .
