This restaurant is perfect in every way. My wife had a burger and I had a patty melt. There are traditional American options here as well as a large array of Chinese food. Everything is fresh and well prepared. They even bake their own breads. The owners have fantastic spirit. I dont think you can go wrong here. This little restaurant has a great reputation and it is well deserved. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. Just fabulous. We will come back tomorrow for Chinese food.

I have eaten at Annies twice. Each time I have had their Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp. It was excellent. They appreciate your business and provide great service. Their prices are reasonable and portions are great.

Worst place ever ...we spent almost 100$ dollars and left hungry ...I am not a picky eater ....but we ordered the basics. .chow mein... Mongolian beef and egg rolls...salt and pepper shrimp 🍤... everything was really gross 🤢....so much we left early and went to look for some food

We are visiting from out of state and just wanted some Chinese food after a day on the road and hours on the beach. We tried three other places that were all closed and were starting to get hangry. We decided to keep driving to Marina and take our chances on Annie’s House. We came inside and were seated immediately. While unassuming on the outside, the service was beyond friendly and the food was easily some of the best Chinese food I have ever had. Thank you to the universe that we didn’t go to those other places! And thank you Annie for the exceptional food and service. We will remember this place for our next visit! 🥰

I wish I found this place sooner! Got the fish and chips and it was seriously amazing. I cant wait to come back and try everything, especially the fried rice! Another customer actually came in when I was there to compliment them on the burgers they had there the day before. The kind of place Ill take my family to when they visit.

I don’t have enough WOW’s to express how great this place was. All the food from the complementary tempura plate to the lemon chicken and fried rice, fish and chips, to the delicious Salmon and garlic mashed potatoes. Everything was cooked to perfection and unbelievably fresh! Service was also top notch, friendly and helpful. We were treated like kings, queens and princes. No wonder Annie’s rates as top Asian in Marina!

Amazing food: clean, fresh, light, tasty. Best veggie lo mien and beef friend rice I’ve ever had (we stuck with Chinese food only) - the owners are lovely too (I have never met them before eating here): the husband is in the kitchen and wife in the front and that’s it. Food came out piping hot. Nothing came from a can or a frozen box. She says they work till 2-3 am. God bless these people. Yum.

I dont want to o call this a hole in a wall but its a diamond find for sure.Fridays are my families and Is out and eat at local businesses, we try to do someplace, and food items, that are new to us.Annies House is a great place to eat some good food, good environment, and good energy. From the time we walked in we were greeted by Annie with all smiles. We ordered a new dish to us. The crispy lemon fish passed the hardest food critic Ive ever known, my pregnant wife! She loves it, saying it gives a pallette similar to orange chicken.The calamari appetizer was different than even Phils fish market, in a better way, was either garlic or pepper, maybe both?either way it was fantastic! Itll be a good. Spot to dine in one day, but we will surely have Annies house on our minds when we dont want to cook!

Small, local, homely and welcoming, this little corner is perhaps the textbook example of what it means to eat local, and eat well. While at first one might think having such a wide assortment of food on the menu may mean a lack of focus, the opposite may be true. The dedicated chef in the kitchen knows precisely whats to be done.Portions are very good for the money, ingredients are fresh and selected with care, and I truly hope this newly opened venue becomes a long term fixture here in Marina.

You owe it to yourself to eat here. OMG. Take a look at the wall to see pictures of the chef, Stephen Lo. He has an incredible background. Annie is genuinely pleased to see you, especially if you are a returning customer. Youll not be disappointed. I had the hot beef sandwich. The bread was not the usual slices of white bread. It complemented the beef perfectly.

Good service, friendly.Had the szechuan beef combo with fried rice. Really good flavor on the tender beef, vegetables fresh and cooked perfectly. Was supposed to be extra spicy, it was mild to me.Every guest in the party was satisfied with the food they ate. Chicken curry, hamburger, szechuan shrimp, spaghetti, potstickers.The appetizers were all good, calamari with a simple salt and pepper seasoning was really good. As well as the wonton chips and fried vegetable assortment. Clean outside grounds and inside.Hot inside the building. Had 3 compact parking spaces in the back and handicap parking. Plenty of safe street parking available in front of the building.I would definately come back here and often.

Its a cute little diner with amazing prices. Ive never seen breakfast for 2-5 dollars a plate. I came here with my boyfriend since hes always been here with his family when he was a kid, so we wanted to bring back the nostalgia. I always get the tommys special with a side of coffee and i love the pancakes. Its just a cute humble diner that i try to come to every weekend ❤

Tommys is not your average Mom & Pop breakfast place. Cost $4.75 for eggs, toast, hash browns, 3 silver dollar pancakes. Dont expect fancy but, it is fast. Not a lot of choices but. Very affordable. No burgers and 3 kinds of sandwiches. A few sides. Not fancy, not big, but fast.

My husband and I come here every week on our morning off. We can get a delicious and simple breakfast, that we dont have to make ourselves, for about the same price as cooking at home. The owners are so sweet, and the atmosphere is about as down to earth and local as you can get. Highly recommended!!

Good food for a very low price. It was well worth more than I paid, so i tipped really big. Two of us ate for less than $7 . If you want a lot of choices this is not the place for you. If youre hungry and on a tight budget, this is definitely the place to go.

Tommys is just one of those rare gems that you feel very lucky to stumble upon. The atmosphere is cozy, theres always people, and Judy and Tommy and crew are always nice and happy to be there. The food is ridiculously inexpensive, and whether Im there by myself or with friends or visiting family, theres something for everyone to eat and nothing is out of budget. Always a good time and good food to be had.

Whenever my husband and I visit our kids in Marina, I have my bucket list of food places I have to go before going back to Nebraska, and one of them is Tommys. Not fine dining, but good homey breakfast. Although my favorite is the Shrimp Fried Rice.

This place knows what they are. Cheap, quick, home cooked meals with no frills and nonsense. From San Jose and this place reminds me of a breakfast spot near San Jose State University but at an even more affordable price for their meals. A nice spot to stop by on your way to Monterey or Pismo.

We come here sometimes often but I known Judy the Chinese lady for a while. Great place to eat but the fried rice and the tommy special is the best combined with thier pancakes. Other wise costumer service is friendly when you get to know them well but you will get used to it. In conclusion I would Recomend this place to anyone.

Yes the food was very cheap, but it was so cheap that the quality suffers just a bit. Its a great local spot to fill up and have a cheap breakfast, however nothing was was outstanding, it was all bland. At $5 for a breakfast, Id try it again. Remember its a CASH Only restaurant.

The service there was horrible the lady was very rude wanted everything done fast her way made me feel very uncomfortable the food was nasty I ordered the French toast and the French toast tasted like egg and bread no flavor the bacon was from like the dollar store and the eggs were overcooked and then they gave the wrong order of bacon to a person I was with and she yelled saying Ill get you another order will never come here again the prices are low but not worth it dont waste your time with this place I would give this place a -1 if allowed me to put a star like that
